Hi there, I just wanted to find out where the fuel filter was? I am not sure if a dirty filter is my problem, my Renault 2012 model is using a lot of fuel and seems to be misfiring. New spark plugs and bogey cords have been done so I dont know what else it could be.

I battled with my oil Filter, I had almost every type of tool spanner belt chain, I ended up taking of the exhaust manifold to get it off 5 hours later. Great work!

Good one... Can I ask something got the same car just did the service also changed the engine mounting but the car gives a lot of jerking while driving what can cause that
Check that the spark plugs are the correct type and heat range, also make sure the gap is at least 0.8mm, you also may have to replace the HT leads (plug wires) these are the most common things that can cause jerking
There is a plastic wing nut on the front of the gearbox about half way up, remove this and fill until the oil starts leaking out, then put the plug back. Hope this helps. Good day just watch your video about the sandero i got the same car. My problem is my padles is tight and it suffer to go in to the gears. And also when i turn the stearing rod it make a suffering noise. Please. Help
Hi Gary. I trust you are well. I am struggling to remove the oil sump for the NP200 bakkie which has the same engine as this car. it is resting on the subframe of the car and it wont fall down. I dont want to pull the engine up the engine bay because that will be a lot of work. is there a way of removing the sump by dropping it down from under the car? I tried to loosen the engine mounts and then lifting the engine up so i can pull in out but the subframe if just on the way. Thanking you in advance.
Hi, I have the same vehicle and the coolant don't circulate. It builds up pressure in the coolant tank and the fan keeps on running. Any idea what the problem may be?
I just replaced a water pump a few days ago on a Renault, I found all the impeller blades were corroded away, therefore no circulation, check it, it could also be a stuck thermostat, good luck, Mulalo.

Not a fan of that plastic sump though, it is all too easy to have anything like a stone or a middlemannetjie damage it, and the first you will know of it will be the engine grenading itself as the oil runs out, followed by the red oil pressure light.
@@vehiclemaintenanceandrepai3790 Renault, VW and such have been making a lot of vehicles with plastic or cast aluminium sumps now. These tend to be brittle and crack, especially the plastic ones which will fail as they age, while the aluminium ones it is easy to strip out the sump plug. Even the dealers have been known to strip them.

There is no external fuel filter to replace on this car

Your clutch needs to be replaced, it has a hard pressure plate.

So you don't do fuel filter?
The filter is in the fuel tank and does not get replaced at service intervals.

Guys where is the fuel filter on this Renault sandero I bought one but want to replace it.
It does not have an external fuel filter it is in the tank, so there is no need to replace it periodically
