- It wasn't enough for Dr. Bad-Boon to steal all of Aiai's bananas. He's created a giant ray gun from inside the space colony that will...make all bananas taste like curry forever! A banana that tastes like curry actually soundskind of interesting, but Aiai loves the way they taste. In his quest to maintain the status quo, Aiai somehow gets wind of this and goes into the room with the laser cannon. He seems to want to destroy the entire colony though...But it being a colony and all, doesn't that mean a lot of people (or monkeys) live here? Apparently, Aiai will not hesitate to commit genocide if it means he can punish Dr. Bad-Boon.
Go ahead, take a look at the World 9 background. There are what appear to be buildings, parks, and streets over there in the distance. There's a civilization in there, and Aiai plans to blow them all up.
Anyway, this particular set of stages is exclusive to the story mode--they do not appear in the Challenge Mode. (If you're wondering, the Expert stages in Challenge Mode end at Air Hockey.) I suppose you can call this beyond Expert. This set seems to place its difficulty mainly in its intricacy rather than precise timing. That is, you need to figure out a specific sequence of actions and perform them, and they tend to be quite long:

10-6 Labyrinth (9)

Training and Created By seem to be the only ones that don't fall into that category--they're plain old ordinary stages. All of the others need to be planned out in advance. Again, I played through all of these in Practice Mode, so I know what the answers are, but I'd like to bring up the ability to view the stage when you pause. You can change the angle and zoom in and out as you wish. There's no other group of stages where it's more important than this one. Well, you can't do that with Postmodern or Invisible, the former because it's set inside a building and the latter because, well, it's invisible!
Labyrinth is perhaps the most shining example of this. You've seen the maze sets of stages prior: Dynamic Maze in World 4, Flat Maze in World 9, and 3D Maze over here; Labyrinth is the last and definitely the toughest one to solve among them. The stage is a messy and perhaps intimidating conglomeration of ramps, tunnels, floors, and walls of varying colors, the different shades necessary to know what leads where. And there is exactly one path that will lead to the goal. - เกม
I love how the compilation of failures for certain stages show the frustration and difficulty in that part of the world.
It's why I kept them in--there are a lot of insanely skilled runs, and they could provide the impression that those are normal. It's why I use this sort of editing for games like this and Mega Man 9.

By the time I finished the game I was so tired of hearing Aiai scream "WHAAAAHHH!!!!!" after every freakin' time you die.
This is the hardest world in story mode. It took me many hours to get through this!
When you finish this, you can try Expert after that, followed by Expert Extra.
One of the most unforgiving games I've ever played. What I wouldn't give to play this again.

Man, there are many times when I play a game as a kid and and when I play them now, they're not nearly as hard as I remember them. But the levels in this world are just as hard and convoluted as I remember them, especially Labyrinth.

Sumo Zebra Productions Heh, World 10 is full of puzzley and maze-like stages. It is nothing compared to Master difficulty though.
I read the description and I'm just shocked. Because not only is the average difficulty lower than World 9 meaning that literally the final world of the game is easier than the world right before it but there is also no difficulty 10 stages in this world!
pfft, that's a lie on the difficulty... Labyrinth and invisible should really be max difficulty...

By the way, how did you do invisible so efficiently? Did you draw the path out on a piece of paper or just memorize it after practicing? It's the only one i haven't beaten yet...

I think all these levels appear in the advanced and/or expert extra stages. I'm not sure, because I lost my last life before continue on air hockey in expert :|

This was a very nice run. You didn't die nearly as many times as I thought you would. I was kinda hoping that you'd suffer, because I'm mean, but you did really well.

If you can keep track of where you are, you can use view stage to see the entire path, even the invisible ones. You can't see yourself though, and the path will be like the beginning of the stage before you hit the play button.
The hardest levels in my opinion in World 10 are Invisible and Created by!!!
