Super Monkey Ball 2 - Beginner & Beginner Extra

- Well, due to people asking for it, I'm going to put up Challenge Mode.
Challenge Mode is the real meat of a Super Monkey Ball game. Well, the first few anyway. In fact, Super Monkey Ball 1 did not have a story mdoe at all, and you play these courses only through Challenge Mode. Here, you go through a bunch of stages in succession, with a finite number of lives. If you run out of lives, you get a Game Over (which resets your score), and if you run out of Continues, you'll have to start over from the beginning. If you get 100 Bananas, you'll earn an extra life. You can also play as a character other than Aiai. I chose Meemee for this one.
Super Monkey Ball 2 has 140 stages in its Challenge Mode. You might notice this number is substantially bigger than in the Story Mode. Yep, the difficulty gets even crazier! But not yet.
Beginner takes you through the easiest 10 stages. If you've been following my Story Mode playthrough, you'll recognize these stages as the ones form Jungle Island, with one exception:
1 Simple
2 Hollow
3 Bumpy
4 Switches
5 Bowl
6 Floaters
7 Slopes
8 Sliders
9 Spinning Top
10 Curve Bridge
Bowl is a new one--that's a Bonus Stage. Every now and then, the game will give these to you. There are tons of Bananas here, and there is no penalty for runing out of time. Nevertheless, I'd advise going through the goal anyway tog get a bonus.
You might also notice the theme abruptly changes to Amusement Park from Floaters to the end. The Challenge Mode has a different order of themes, though the stages are functionally identical.
But wait. There's more!
If you can get to the end of a Challenge Mode run without using a Continue (and with 99 lives and 10 Beginner stages, it's not that hard), you'll get to play the Extra stages. The Beginner Extra stages are as follows:
EX 1 Conveyers (World 1-5 in Story Mode)
EX 2 Bumpy Check (World 2-5)
EX 3 Alternative (World 2-10)
EX 4 Junction (World 3-10)
EX 5 Bead Screen (World 5-5)
EX 6 Fluctuation (World 5-10)
EX 7 Folders (World 6-10)
EX 8 Quick Turn (World 7-10)
EX 9 Linear Seesaws (World 8-10)
EX 10 Birth
And if you've been following the Story Mode playthrough to the end, you'll see that this is a quick tour of the Story Mode stages. Something to notice is that Bowl, in the original 10 stages, replaces Conveyers. Conveyers, in turn, got moved here. So you can deduce that if a stage appears here in Beginner Extra, there will be a Bonus Stage where that stage would be in Story Mode.
The one original stage in this set is Birth. That one's a weird one. But I can see why they'd call it that.
You'll see that I was attempting the Green Goal in Junction. To be honest, I didn't know how to get there, so I wasted a few lives that way. Sorry about that. But anyway, you'll see that the Green Goal here lets me skip a stage. It's not as if Bead Screen was especially tough...but you do get huge bonus points for going through an alternate goal.
The next Super Monkey Ball 2 video I'll put up will go through Advanced difficulty. This has 30 stages. Due to its length, I'll put up Advanced Extra as its own video. Every stage there is original to the Challenge Mode, by the way. - เกม
A game like this really needs a create-a-course mode or something similar.
These are a bit more entertaining to watch, due to the fact that the music doesn't get changed every time you beat a stage. I really like the music in this game...

There aren't many games that give you 99 lives right from the outset. I really think they're trying to tell you something.
I can't quite remember accurately, but I believe some of these stages aren't from World 1. I think Linear Sesaws was late-ish, but it's a little hazy. Perhaps, just a suggestion, when you put the list of stages in the description, you could also add a note saying which world they're originally from. That'd give an idea of what the difficulty curve is like here.
I made story mode in Minecraft, so now ill make challenge mode as a small version of the stages in Minecraft.

No, I mean that Super Monkey Ball Deluxe was already a compilation game. Would 2 have included, say, Touch & Roll and Banana Blitz?
