@@TheLoamWolf thats was i comment on other vídeo, if you take a heavy long 29er to a flowy trail is going to be the worst ebike ever. If you put this Canyon on those rock gardens same happens. Yeah the idea behind this bike is more in the way to get you up the fire roads or service roads at bikeparks. Just like the non e version, you can get up, but it's not fun.
I'm interested in when you drive it in trail mode. How far can you drive with that battery because I'm also thinking of ordering it because I ride an average of 40 km with a normal MTB here in Germany in the mountains every second day. 😅
Love this yt channel! Another good honest review. How would this bike compare to the kenevo comp or expert? Bummed specialized aren’t in it this year 👎🏻
$100 for a 190 air shaft for the zeb and one offset bushing. Thatd raise the bb 8mm , head angle the same. With that reach no problem to slide the seat forward enough to make the seat angle 75+ . Hopefully canyon work out a way to bring their emtbs to their new canada distribution
190 Zeb will slacken the HT to 63.0. Offset bushings shorten the eye to eye thus slacken it and lower the BB further which you don’t want. Instead, I would run a 2.6” rear tire to bring the BB up or just run shorter 155-160mm cranks
@@mtbmike9866 turn the one offset bushing the other way. That gives you back steepness and raises the bb. All depends how you orientate the offset bushing

Canyon's design choices are pretty frustrating on this bike. I really like Canyon and I would definitely put the Torque at the top of my list or at least tied at the top of my list but I want a "do it all" mountain bike, not a park bike. The Spectral:ON is a great bike but I think the Torque:ON could've been as good or better if they just made it an enduro bike. Mullet, 630 WH, good geo for climbing and descending. Tick all the boxes and people will buy it.
I don't understand why there isn't an enduro between the Spectral On (150mm) and this freerider Torque On (180mm)... Would be the one everbody wants with bigger battery und carbon frame :(
@@MrHomer5012 I’m sure you can but the effective seat angle and bottom bracket height don’t do it any favours for climbing. In its current guise I wouldn’t even consider the torque. I’d go for the Santa Cruz Bullit or if you want something more affordable but still really well spec’d then the Commencal Meta Power.
Plus the new redesigned Levo comes out next week, they probably weren't allowed or had the new Levo to ride in time for the shoot out. But they have already hinted to stay tuned in for the new Levo, so maybe an independent review coming out in the coming weeks. I don't know, not really excited about any of the bikes in the shoot out to be honest. If I already owned a 2/3 year old emtb, I would absolutely see no reason to run out and buy a new bike based on any of these to be honest. So far the only new emtb that interest me is the Rise and the upcoming Levo, love the adjustable geo that will have, plus 700wt battery and under 50lbs. Not a Specialized fanboy by any stretch but they just seem light years ahead in engineering and foresight then anyone else. Also, if the rumors of the new Norco VLTs are true, that could be a killer option as well.
@@Mockle07 from what I've heard/read the Kenevo as well but don't think that's being released just yet, believe just the Levo next week and then the Kenevo down the road, no eta on that yet. The new Levo will be 160/150, mullet, carbon only at this time, based on the Stumpy Evo geo with adjustable hta/geo, same 700wt battery, brose motor update as far as being more efficient. This is going off people who have seen and even pre-ordeded through their LBS supposedly. The Kenevo suppos rumors are redesigned based on the Enduro, modular battery. Will see on that. Their supposed to be an announcement on Monday from what I've read about the Levo and official release on Tuesday. If what people are saying are true, I'm in on the new Levo.
The production value on this channel is through the roof. Keep it up
Thanks very much
Got me locked in. Loam wolf taken the ebike to the next level . Awesome channel !
Haha yes!!! Stoked to hear it.
Are you guys going to do a Spectral ON review?
Horses for courses. It’s the best way to review ebikes. Keep that point guys!
Thanks Abel, this bike (or horse) is definitely suited to its course.

Have you guys got the Scott Ransom Ebike on review?
Canyon intended it to be a bikepark bike?
It's analog brother is for bikeparks
What is the crank arm length? I switched to 160 on my Lego and pedal strikes are pretty much gone
160
Is it just me or does anyone else find themselves humming or singing the opening song nearly all day?🤪
Haha. That means you been watching all our vids!! Thank you
I ride my torque 2 years long and you get used to climbing a lot, but it takes time and maybe shorter cranks

Appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
there’s no 29er option available?
What about battery durability? What are your impressions? Thanks
How long did the battery last?
Why no 29er
This will be in my stable once available to the public...
Perfect bike IMO. Just need a shuttle up to the trailhead.

So much money and this thing CANNOT climb?
This channel's loam.
Nowadays, a 74 degree seat tube angle is just worthless.
Less expensive but there are better bikes for a little more money
Depends where/how you ride. For some riders this will be perfect, but it does seem to be a niche bike for sure.
