This video was the lynchpin that sold me the Strive:On. It has everything I wanted in a new bike and the video was so well detailed that I had to buy it straight away. I've only taken it out once so far but I was immediately comfortable and confident despite needing to finish setting up my suspension! I am already tackling sections I hesitated on before and I had great fun climbing uphill, tackling roots I never would have thought of tackling before. I cant wait to get out on it again. Thank you Rob for your honest and detailed opinion.
Fantastic content! Just love the mix of technical and in the field, on the bike comentary. The style of the video, the action is superb and you and your colleague on the camera make a wonderful team. Now, can't wait to see this bik pop up on Canyon in the US. 😀
Canyon: Please release the Strive:ON for order in the United States. I'm stuck between buying this bike and another because I don't want to miss riding this summer. Excellent job on moving to Bosch; that is why I didn't order a Canyon in the past. I would also like to see the Bosch on the Torque:ON.
I love my Megawatt, but honestly, so many brands have come out with absolute bangers since I got mine last year. I kinda wish I waited a year for this instead, especially with that Bosch system with it's built in GPS tracker and immobiliser.
By the way I really love your riding skill, because eventhough it’s way better than my skill, you don’t make suicide drop and descend at Mach 2 like pro top riders. You are just riding at Mach 1.8 !!!! What I want to say is that your tests are real for me as I would like to get to your skill riding. When I see a top pro rider pedaling a bike , I know that he will do miracle even with a 32kgs hard untuned suspension bike ! I won’t !!!
Hmm looked at canyon ebikes but in the end I invested in a pole voima, nothing toches it. Great video as always , even if it's paid content from canyon . Such is the modern world , look forward to the next production you put out , as always 🤘🤘🤘
Hi Rob, cracking review as always. I'd be interested on you thoughts on the Strive ON vs the new 2023 Orbea Wild? I see a similar question has been asked on here already, but hasn't been answered. I think its a pretty fair comparison as they are both top bikes. Cheers
Awesome. Would you prefer this or the new wild? Seems like they were able to build the bottom tube strong without a full opening but still easy to remove battery
Unfortunately this bike has issues alot of people are reporting that it turns off on trails. The problem is with the closing latch, leading to unwanted battery movements, and play in the latch.
Mullet is awesome in the steeps and for railing turns, have the Canyon Torque ON ridden some of the most iconic Colorado singletrack rides this summer and sending it at bike park.
Great content Rob. Great filming and editing. I only recognised the log drop test location. Where did you do the other stuff, doesn't look like your usual locations??
I just ordered the Underdog last week ($1000 off)! It delivers in 2 days and I can't wait to get this bike on the trails! I can't tell you how many times I've watched this video over the past 6 months but I'm sure it's not a healthy number. I'm 6'4 and also went with a large since the reach is identical to my Polygon T7. I appreciate your detailed review (and the followup when you bought it). 🤘
@@anybe707 phenomenal! Now that I'm about 3 months and 500 miles in, I know I made the right choice! The fit is perfect and this bike is so capable and confidence inspiring! I'm hitting bigger features with ease and flying downhill (and uphill) faster than ever! The fork is so plush but I'm still working on the rear shock. I'm going to open it up to see if I can add volume spacers. It's a bit too harsh at the moment. But that's not taking away from the fun at all.

Great to see there using the Bosch unit, and normal bars not those all in one crap deals, and just like that they cant ship the Strive:ON CFR LTD to Australia.
Mine just has arrived yesterday. And I am really looking forward to test in in the dirt. BTW your review helped me to go for this beast (and of course 20% discount). Thanks Rob!
Looks great and the spec for the price is awesome. It's a shame the CFR is Shimano but the CFR LTD is SRAM. The CFR is over £2200 cheaper and I'd be happy to upgrade it to GX AXS (the previous version), but upgrading from Shimano to SRAM on the back end is an expensive pain.
