    Great video , do you think it's much difference between the cf 9 and 8?, I'm thinking in getting the torque on, but the cf 9 it's 1.5k€ grands more, what's your opinion about the performance of the fox ryhtm fork and the x2 rear shock?

      Thanks for the comment 👍 Forks are really good, shock is also good but having to service pretty soon. Either bike will be a lot of fun buddy 👌👍

    I would definitely consider the Torque for my next bike. I love my Trek Rail 7 with the upgrades but when the time comes..

      Never ridden the Trek Rail, looks awesome though, wondering if Trek will make the new slash into an e bike… that could be epic… 🤔👍

      @@OldBeanMTB Yeah I was thinking that, but keeping the high pivot and maybe a bit more battery. Hope Trek are reading this… we just came up with the dream e bike 😅🤞

    I've been going back and forth between these two bikes. Deep down, I really want the Torque:On for it's stability and forgiveness as I learn to hit bigger and bigger jumps. But I keep hearing others talk about how it'll be less fun on XC singletrack which I spend about 50% of my time on. That's what is pulling me towards the Spectral:On. If the Strive:On was available in my market (United States) I would just get that but it's not. So I guess my question for you is, how does the Torque:On fair on blue/black singletrack? Is it good enough? Rock gardens aren't really a thing where I'm from so pedal strikes aren't an issue. Honestly, as I'm writing this, I feel like I've already made up my mind. But I'm curious to hear your opinion anyway. I'm also keeping my Polygon T7 so maybe I'm just overthinking this.

      Always a big decision, totally get it. I’d say the Torque ON is the more capable bike, and it’s a blast to ride on blues, maybe a bit much, but it is the bike that will put a bigger grin on your face and let you get away with more when trying to progress/hitting bigger stuff. In short, go Torque 👊

      @@ForestMountainBiker Thanks for the quick response! I appreciate your insight. The 2 trails we have that would warrant big travel I think will be well worth it. Sure, people are hitting this stuff on trail bikes (including me) but I'm old and prone to be inconsistent on jumps so the more "forgiveness" I can get the better! Especially when I start hitting the bigger stuff. 🤣

      @@omahamtb6580 All I can say is if the Torque helps you progress your riding and feel more confident as much as it has me then you will love it for that 👌👍 Nothing wrong with over compensating when it comes to bikes 😅👊

    Mate how supportive this engine really is??? Is like one or two extra pair of legs?? Today I've been riding at Northampton bike park and one youth was riding on merida 160 ebike. He was able to catch me twice or three times at the top being still fresh when I've been dying from tired 😩😂

      The shimano EP8 is like 4 pairs of extra legs, it really does all the work for you (up the hill) 👍 Does help keep you fresh for the downhill 👌👊

    I have the spectral cf on9 size M. Wheel base is way to short, after 580km i am selling it, is just not my bike although its a great bike

    Hey mate have you any problem with the rear brake on your Torque On? I've had 2 total rear brake failures so far, something appears to be rubbing the brake line in the frame causing a hole and sudden total brake failure. Hopefully you haven't but just wanted to see what others experience is.

    • @ForestMountainBiker
      @ForestMountainBiker  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry to hear that buddy, that must be more than a bit annoying. I haven’t had that, but I did zip tie the rear brake hose where it comes out of hole in the chain stay as I noticed the rubber bung thing they use to hold it in place kept popping out so the hose was a bit loose and closer to my spokes than I would like 👍

    • @neilw3412
      @neilw3412 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the reply. On the first occasion I did notice the rubber grommet wasn't staying in place too. When I had it repaired I was diligent about making sure the grommet stayed in place and it did but still had another failure. Anyway keep an eye on it, you're hitting some huge stuff. Love the riding! Keep it up 👍
