You basically just helped me understand why giving reasons is hard. Last spring I moved up to Seattle after wanting to live there for 7 years and I had many people ask me "why Seattle?" My only reply was, "because I want to..." I'm also an ISFP
Lol! Yep the struggle is real when it comes to what we want sometimes. I can give reasons for somethings, but usually it is just an animalistic I want and I do. Such an Fi thing.
It was nice to hear a fellow ISFP talk about this. I don't mind giving reasons for why I do things/how I feel about them. But I find those reasons aren't the actual reason, they just back up my already formed choice/opinion. Even if I know the real reason and it's perfectly logical, I don't usually mention it. I'm not sure why I do it exactly. It's not like I'm intentionally deceiving them and the reasons I give did impact things. I just don't even think to mention my core reason. Maybe it's because I'm a very private person and I feel most comfortable when I don't have to worry about what others will think. A kind of fear of criticism but a more than that too. I don't think it's necessarily the healthiest to do that with everything since you can kinda shut yourself off to feedback but it's not always a bad thing either.
April Rains Fine Art I relate hard to not wanting to get criticism and feel vulnerable also. I have learned putting myself out there isn’t as scary as I make it in my head. Yes, I can still get the occasional slam, but it does help you grow and there is much more good than bad that happens as a result of putting yourself out there! Giving the feeling reasons is easy, logical yeah not so much! Lol
I'm an ISFP and I have been trying to learn more about people who i can truly connect with. I have ended up watching hours worth of TH-cam videos about the ISFP, but I hadn't found any videos that truly felt like me until I found this video. I have never watched anyone be so real with who they are and how they explain the ISFP typing. I have trouble with sharing my reasons on why I think or believe something. I have always felt as though I dont fit in because my logic isnt as advanced as everyone else's, mostly because I like living in my own world. I dont like the limitations of the world that we live in. This video made me feel like I wasn't alone in how I think. Thank you so much for all you have done! Keep being you!
I’m so glad you have found my rambles valuable! Fi is a gift, because we just know what we like and want and we don’t need reasons. We just feel it in our soul. Then we have that Se that helps us put our wants in action! Don’t ever underestimate your superpowers! ❤️
Hi Silver Wolf. I am an INTP. Just like you really struggle with breaking the mold when it comes to relying on your personal values, I struggle the same way when it comes to my logical reasoning. I just want to say, for starters, that I probably feel just as alienated by people as you do! It’s really tough for me, and since I find it so hard to appreciate my own feelings, I often can’t stick up for myself when people are hurtful and mean to me. It makes me afraid to put myself out there. You’re not alone. Even though we’re different types, we have very similar anxieties. Anyways. I also wanted to offer you some ideas that can help you defend yourself from logic bullies! These are things I figured out from a lot of soul searching and they’re really personal and important to me. I hope they help you to stick up for yourself in a world of people whose obsession with logic makes them inherently illogical! Firstly: Ignoring the possibility that you might be wrong is not a logical way to think. (1) Most of the things we think we know to be true have not been proven 100%. (2) Even then, most of the conclusions we draw from are arguments aren’t completely proven by the facts we used to make them. (3) Lastly, almost everything in life is subjective. (Based on perspective). If something is based on perspective, how can you prove that it is right or wrong? You can’t. If they say “That’s ridiculous, you’re being stupid”, ask them if they also think Descarte was being stupid when he said “I think, therefore I am.” Descarte understood that we have no way to prove that the things we think we see actually exist. Descarte deduced that, if you are able to think, YOU must exist, even if the rest of it is all a figment of your imagination. So that is your fist line of defense. Almost nothing can be proven with total certainty, and there is almost never a logical argument capable of proving a point well enough that it can either be considered true, or false. And, of course, any subject that relies on human perception isn’t capable of being considered true, or false, because it is subjective by definition. What you just accomplished is to prove to them that they can’t prove what they’re saying is true. No matter how many facts they throw at it. So, actually, what you’re REALLY discussing is your opinion verses their opinion. Next, the person might challenge your method for coming up with your opinion. They might say “You’re ridiculous. At least I have reasons to believe what I believe. You can’t even explain why what you believe is true.” Now you use your second line of defense. That is to defend the value of wisdom. Ask this person whether they think they know better than the greatest philosophers and prophets of our history. If they say yes, tell them you’re sorry they’re struggling to understand the world and you wish them luck. Lol. If they say no, tell them that back in those days, those people didn’t have Google. They spent time alone with their thoughts, trying to understand the meaning of life. They used their subconscious knowledge to become wise. In doing so, they discovered many things that people still regard to be true to this day, even though they were never proven. You believe that you can get a more accurate answer by following in the footsteps of the greatest thinkers in history, then you can by trying to make logical arguments to prove concepts that can’t be proven with the limited data we have available to us. If wisdom was good enough for Aristotle, it’s good enough for you! Tell them that you’re not going to say they’re wrong in what they think. But you’re also not going to ignore your wisdom and understanding of the world in favor of a concept that is too vast to be proven with logic. Wisdom is just as good for understanding truth as facts are, if not better! PS: Just because you can’t explain the rationality behind your wisdom doesn’t mean it isn’t rational. Even the Dalai Lama doesn’t explain the reasons behind why he believes what he believes. Why? Because those beliefs are so profound they can’t simply be spelled out! They’re something a person has to discover for themselves! I know this was long-winded but I tried so hard to be succinct! I know it’s tough, the way people bully each other these days with arguments they think are logical (they almost are never logical..lol..) I’m sorry people are mean to you. I hope this helps you stand up for your beliefs! You do you! 😉
@@AK-jt7kh thank you very much dear Intp im an infj and what are you saying is very awesome i have only one correction We are humans in the end xD and the truth the logic feeling and other things they exist its like a game The truth is not subjective but iur ability to understand is limited what did you say about rest of things thank u a lot i really dont take things seriously when people argue xD because that makes things worse
@@abetteryou4228 I honestly can’t believe you read that, but…thanks! Yes, I’ve been trying to hold back my argumentative side but it is so difficult for me! Good on you for mastering that! 👏
Your channel is so great. Was on the fence of ISFJ and ISFP... this really resonated with me so, so much and has helped me realize I am an ISFP. TOUGH as a male to have these traits sometimes. Glad to hear others express them. Thank you! -
ENTJ here. You remind me soooo much of my boyfriend. He's an INSP also. It's been four years and we still don't seem to get each other. So here I am, watching tons of videos to help me understand because he can't put it into words and my constant questioning just irritates him. Only if I could get him to understand that my questioning is a way of me trying to connect and take the relationship to a deeper level. Thank you for your content. It is really putting things into prospective for me.
Although we’re not a rare type, I definitely feel that isfp’s are very strange. But that’s what makes them so interesting and beautiful. They value who they are, and that’s something a lot of people need.
@@sheandg my man gets so frustrated cause I have such difficulty explaining things, it really feels like I have to explain backwards. I know I like it but don't know why so I can't explain why. I gotta figure it out too lol
Even when my daughter went through the “why” phase it was so draining to come up with reasons. “Just because” Or “cuz I said so” were my go to responses..... poor kid! Lol
It took me 14 minutes to notice “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” in the background. This is the first video of yours I’ve seen. I just saw you with infp hd. You are so awesome.
I hear that. "Why do you like x" is such an annoying and small question and puts me on the defensive, narrowing down rather than opening up the conversation. I always want to reply, "Why NOT?" I much prefer to ask and answer more open-ended questions that allow the person to take the conversation to the next place, like "Oh, you like sewing? What's something you're working on right now?" or "What would be a dream project?"
I'm an INTP so my superego is ISFP...it's so hard to find vids of ya'll talking though! When I'm in that mode, yes, it's super hard to explain why I'm doing what I'm doing.
I guess there aren’t too many of us talking personality stuff. Well, actually I think there are a few out there with channels but are mistyped as something else. ;)
oh my gosh this makes me realise so many things…. i’m myself a great masker so whenever at work or school we discussed my actions or preferences etc, i was always able to tell logical reasonings behind them - it comes on autopilot with people i don’t trust emotionally, since essentially i’m almost acting a character i made out of survival need. but if i ever thought about showing something i REALLY liked or wanted to do, it made me terrified even, so i didn’t do them for years. i’m better now but this means i have had to stop extroverting and succeeding (essentially stopped living like a casual warm XNTJ creature)… fascinating, yet scary how the mind works. anyways, i hope you’re doing well and would continue making videos sometime again :) God bless.
Congrats on 100 subs! Im an INFP and totally agree with the struggle to explain Feelings and Values! My explanation for my favourite colour being red used to be "i dunno", now i actively try and explain the feeling it gives me! So its "red rely invokes a primal feeling of arousal and passion in me when i see it and i like that feeling". Learning to kinda Te my Feelings a bit really helped get the tribe off my back!
Eslam A oh get the tribe off your back, lol so relatable!! Typical IP comment ;) I will also explain things from a feels base and I have to really dig deep to explain that logic. In my brain things don’t have to make logical sense, as long as I feel good about a decision I’m happy.
As INTJ, logic is a strong point, but I see no logical reason why my favorite color is blue. Some things are too subjective for logic. That’s only logical 😉
Yay...Great Job from an INTJ! It really is helpful for me to hear how the ISFP works because even though I realize I can’t date an ISFP, I do really value understanding the process you have. It is truly a testament to your growth to be on YT and allow us sometimes more harsh types to view your insights into the world. If someone asks me as an INTJ what my favorite color is: Black! Why? Because it goes with everything and makes you look slim and will always be in style + it’s just a functional non-color. INTJ always has a reason for how we see the world or why we make the choices that we do... It’s weird to me to not have a ‘reason’ since I spend so much time thinking before I take action to ensure 100% accuracy. Also, we love a good debate as long as the stance is coming from a factual basis, feelings are totally fine but for an INTJ it can’t be the main factor in arguing a point. If we can’t start at a basic premise than it’s a losing conversation and as an INTJ I can’t deal.
Thanks that really means a ton to me! And holy cow your reasons for black are perfect!! I agree 100% but I would have never come up with those reasons myself but as I read them I’m like duh, how did I not think of stuff like that. Te is a beautiful thing and I do find myself drawn to High Te users. As long as they don’t try to boss me around, the don’t control me bro attitude comes out lol
@@sheandg Yes Sheila thanks a lot for all of this! Your videos give a lot of insight on things I have never ever considered. And I don't see/know any other ISFP youtubers who discuss about personality types. BTW, I like gray (and other dull colors to a lesser extent) because I don't like to stand out from the crowd. (XNFX)
I totally agree! I’ve actually have been in a “funk” lately and I know getting out there and “doing” is my medicine but I’ve been so resistant lately! Grrrr
This sounds just like me ISFP (Scorpio Sun/Aries Moon). I don't like giving explanations and I get completely thrown off when asked too many questions cuz I am not good explaining lol. I'm better at writing. Oh, and I can argue, but I don't like my happy energy ruined, feels like a waste of energy. If it is something important to me or I need to protect someone, I won't back down. Love your story about your kitchen!! Good for you! Your husband sounds awesome and probably wasn't too surprised haha. I have refinished & painted my cabinets just cause the mood hit & I can't wait to demo a kitchen someday and get my dream kitchen too 💖! I also have done all my flooring myself & yanked old gross carpet, caulked stucco, baseboard etc.. I love hands on.... 🔨 And I love ❤ making my living space really pretty and elegant. I love aesthetics in the home and also views of hills, greenery, water, flowers, etc. Pink is also my favorite color. 💖 AWESOME VID YOU DID EXPLAINING with stories that are relatable.
The favorite color question is what helped me (Ti hero) understand Fi. All people have a favorite color and can't really explain why they like it. *We just do.* And if you've ever tried (said an ENFJ friend of mine) to get someone to change his or her favorite color, you know that it just can't be done. This preference is beyond reasons and is rooted in the authenticity of one's self.
I have the same (or opposite) problem as an INTP. If you ask me why I like something, I can give you a bunch of rational reasons. I know there are underlying emotional reasons beneath these rationalizations, but they are hazy to me.
Keep standing strong: the spirit directs the mind! First comes the feelings, then comes the reasons. (Even for INTJ architects!) If your core is challenged, be gracious but don't give an inch.
As savior Te / demon Fi, I usually have reasons for why I value most things. The exception might be explaining why my favorite color is purple. The best I can come up with is that I'm just drawn to it- I like to look at purple things. Also the color looks good on me. It's interesting that Te is your demon and yet you are so much more handy than I am. I usually just get someone to do the handiwork for me. I haven't had natural ability or inclination in that area. Also I didn't grow up with family members who were handy so I never really learned those skills.
Laura Miller the color looks good on you is a great reason! I wonder if Te/Se is going to be much more handy than Te/Si? I have that SeTe play so I expend my energy in a very ST way. That is our biggest difference. My hubby is for sure Se so that might be where he is good at it also. Just speculating. I did not grow up in a handy house either. It is just something natural for me.
I would say handiness is more related to Se then Te. Or even better, more to S then T. I consider myself handy even though I don't have Te. FF-Ti/Se-CPS. I've noticed it in other people too, but I don't have a proof because they haven't been officially typed.
Jan Krejčí that does make a lot of sense. I’m 99% sure my hubby is also Se but he hasn’t been officially typed. I just know that I have always been good at manipulating the sensory things. I actually wanted to be a car mechanic when I was thinking about careers. Instead I became a hair stylist so I spent 20 years manipulating hair ;)
Lmfao loved the video you give me a lot of insight to my significant other I see a lot of similarities, the whole time watching this I thought to myself “I low key have a crush on this lady” lol anyways I’m an entp and again my gf is an isfp and it just made me curious about what your husbands type is
Hello ISFPs. I am an INTP with a question. My sister is an ISFP, and I need help understanding how I can disagree with her and not hurt her feelings? There aren’t many times I will disagree with her, because I know how personal her beliefs are to her identity, and how sensitive she is about them. But sometimes our values and feelings clash! She can be really stubborn and, to be honest, a bit of a bully. She can sometimes stamp on other peoples feelings in favor of her own. I totally understand that it’s tough for her to think of someone else’s feelings when she is in Fi land - I have the same problem when I’m in Ti land! But how can I talk to her so she understands that she’s hurting my feelings, or misunderstanding my intentions, without making her feel attacked? What do I do when I feel like she’s not being considerate of how I feel? Any and all answers are appreciated! I don’t know if I need to wait and talk to her later...or... 🤷♀️
A K that is a HARD answer! I do know we can get so defensive. Is she good at recognizing the issues after the fact? Sometimes when I’m really riled up there is no reasoning with me, but after I’ve cooled down and think about everything I can see easier other’s point of view. I do know how things are worded really make a big difference, and I know there are a lot of books and info on choosing the right words to soften the blow. Maybe you could try saying something like I totally value your opinion and I see where you are coming from I just believe X and that is important to me. I think when others are vulnerable with their feelings we soften up more. The minute you say “you” to us our wall goes up! If you start your point with “I” it is less threatening. Also your tone is very important the minute it gets louder or more aggressive up goes out wall. ISFPs can live in defense mode, and we unfortunately feel like any disagreeing with us can be an attack on us. It really is our lifelong cross we carry, and half the battle is knowing we think this way so when we start feeling defense we can turn it around in our minds, but it does take a lot of work.
I'm dating an ISFP and whenever I ask for a reason, I'm told that I'm attacking and that's how I ended up with your video. Okay.. so the reasons don't come natural to you. It's not that you are dismissing me by not telling me. Got it. Thank you.
Ask them how do you feel about.. (whatever it is). Even though you do not get a direct answer or reasoning you will get one closer then asking for a reason why an isfp is thinking a certain thing
Hey Sheila! Congrats on 100 subs! I can totally relate to becoming a rabid kitten if someone steps on my identity and values- I call it my pet "Te Shark" coming out to protect me! PS- I totally joined OPS bc of your recommendations (ugh tribe issues!)!
the_dazey_infp that is so cool! I hope you enjoy OPS, for me it just really clicks and makes so much sense. I know it doesn’t track the functions exactly like MBTI so there is some relearning, but it is tracking the human needs and seems to really pinpoint the what and why we do certain things to achieve those needs. I like the Te shark analogy too because, you can not put a shark in a tank it expect it to survive it has to be free and wild and it will rip off an arm if need be! Lol you can’t put an Fi dom in a tank and expect it to survive swimming around like all the other fish.
Sheila w it’s definitely taking a bit for me to grasp the OPS concepts- I suspect I’m lead or high consume; so I’m just soaking it all in like crazy! And YES!-your shark analogy is giving me LIFE- don’t try to hold us down! 🙌
As an ISFP, you remind me of myself in more ways than I can count. But I tried remodeling the kitchen with an ENTJ husband and only received a threat of him going to use a butcher knife on me if I even start. I started, literally preferring to die than to keep living an imprisoned life controlled totally by a covert narcissist. Those type seem to take things the worst. I went ahead with the remodel...all by myself... Didn't die, obviously. And when I was done, the aHole suddenly was the complete opposite, all nice and telling me I did a great job. WTF!?! As an ISFP, living with an ENTJ was pure effing Torture, No Joke
Why do you like pink? "E-A-SY " BECAUSE YOU (Sheila) SAID SO! Why is there Air? ASK TOMORROW for your answer. THERE WILL BE ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT the color, yet once again. wHY ,wHY. why? It's the ISTP "of me" that downloads in your hard drive forever. A why question will never be relevant or necessary 24/7/365. This is what makes you so valuable to me as I listen! For TSFPs why questions do not compute. It's forever a who ANSWER for the ISFP down load. And to hear it coming out of your chops in real-time is so much richer than Textbooks & Professors or Practitioners. You are the real deal and that as good as ISFP LIFE gets for me in special needs capacity building my IEP in my ARD for my understanding of my ISFP Lady. (The better for both of us! ) Your every answer Is the right answer. There are no 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 Ponocoies for YOU & your presentations. That is worth more than the price of Gold! I will make it a special Ops-Sorty on my DO list to ensure I listen to every one of your presentations. I've got two or three under my belt now & it has already made my wife's life better as a result of the words you shared (IN the FIRST PERSON) for me, as a first responder in an effort to secure enlightenment." It's Tommy this & Tommy & chuck-him-out-the-Brut! But it's Savior to the Country when the guns begin to shoot. Sheila . . . . keep on keeping on, & again THANK YOU. YOU MAKE the DIFFERENCE! You ISFP YOU! Life is already a tad better for this hubby.
Deb came home driving a brand New John Deer Tractor! A new addition for our Life after 45+ years of marriage & no tractors. Now I know why light comes on inside my head making it clear she had a Brain Storm Project in mind requiring one!
Well, when it comes to persoanl preferences like food, colors, smells, hobbies, movies, etc. you dont really need reasons. You just like what you like. I love bacon bits beyond reason and I dont know why. 😀
Hey as an ENTP, with secondary Ti, just know that when we question someone most of the times it is not with bad intentions. Ti just wants to understand, and for me Fi is so faint that reason elevates whatever I like to a new level. For example, when I watch a movie i don't come out thinking I loved that movie, I was only entertained. But I will start processing and weighing the pros an cons, and whatever I felt from the movie just gets elevated because of the reasons why the movie was good. Remember that Ti goes with Fe, so Fe sparks our interest in you as a person and Ti is curious about you because we care about you, and because we care we want to understand you. We want to understand you in order for us to elevate our perception of you, because Ti takes the place of Fi or directly elevates Fi. While I know it is hard and I am not saying this is good, only that this is how it works for me. The worst think you can do with a savior Ti is get defensive or even worse get offended when questioned, because whenever someone reacts that way it is the fastest way for me to lose respect for someone. I am getting better at being understanding, but that is what my brain does in automatic. Please understand that for us, we are Fi blind so Fi is a completely foreign concept, and as humans we always think that everyone else thinks the way we do. I mean I understand how Fi works now, but please understand that for most people they do not know about MBTI. Even now I wrote all of this, because that is what Ti does, wants to understand and be understood, mostly understand but being understood is nice too.
Yes, Ti I understand on paper but being Fi I just can’t wrap my head around that dang going deep with logic! I like to keep it surface level, but when it comes to feelings that I can deep dive into the abyss! Lol
@@sheandg Indeed, Ti and Fi are so opposite to each other that we might never understand each other. Fi has become my new obsession, mainly because I do not understand it, but I have learnt to really appreciate the people that use it. So just wanted to let you know that you Fi doms are amazing people, and never let our lack of Fi awareness bring you down.
farrex0 and same for you Ti peeps! You are valued and needed in this crazy world too, and when our Fi “logic” lack thereof, makes you scratch your head, it does come from the best place we know.
Captain-K'nuckles yeah, I am realizing that now after I had time to think about it and a couple people mentioned it in the comments. I think the Te kicks in and then figures out the next steps to take after the fact.....lol I am forever getting Se whims and sometimes the bank account gets pissed at me! I can talk myself off the ledge but when my Fi locks onto it, it makes it harder!!!
Captain-K'nuckles you are also an ISFP correct? This week for OPS we are typing Novak Djokovic and I’m thinking he has to be an ISFP also! I started watching some interviews and I’m like whoa that is exactly me if I was a guy! Lol
My hubby is ISFP enneagram 7 w 6😁 Yes, him totally 🤪😁😅 Yes but how about instead of ‘rabbit bunny’- tiger or a hulk?! Just saying, ISFP are so beautiful people with a huge temper 💯 Ps. What’s your hubby type?😁
Lol! I save the hulk for my hubby and the rest of the world sees rabid bunny! Oh man I can get quite the temper and over the years I have really worked at keeping it under control, and I must say I do a much better job at it now than I did in my 20’s! The one nice thing is I blow and then I’m done and I don’t usually hold a grudge, and I’m usually very apologetic after the fact. I’m quite sure my hubby is an ESTP he is 7w6 man I love 7w6 they are so much fun!!! My tritype is 947 so we both have that 7 that keeps life exciting. How about you?

I feel so understood listening to this video 😂 Im making a whole album pretty much on my whole beliefs and values. It took me awhile but I definitely figured out the "why" to these feelings. Im still very new to learning personality types 😅
Watching this video as an INTJ, it seems that it's even hard for an ISFP to offer reasons for why it's hard to offer reasons. What I got from this is merely that you simply don't offer reasons...because you just don't...for no reason.
Introverted feeling is so subjective it drive people nuts because there is no logic to it. Sorry for whoever the husband is that guy will be in trouble.
What kind of personality your husband haves? I think he understands you well. If someone other than your husband would have seen your kitchen probably they would think that you went crazy or you had a fight with someone. :))
You haven't shown your artistic and fashion sense like an ISFP would. I don't care if you believe that you are an ISFP, I know from watching you and the clothing that you wear that you are an ISTP. Firstly:
Ignoring the possibility that you might be wrong is not a logical way to think.
You can’t.
If they say “That’s ridiculous, you’re being stupid”, ask them if they also think Descarte was being stupid when he said “I think, therefore I am.”
Descarte understood that we have no way to prove that the things we think we see actually exist.
You can’t even explain why what you believe is true.”
Now you use your second line of defense.
I know it’s tough, the way people bully each other these days with arguments they think are logical (they almost are never logical..lol..)
I’m sorry people are mean to you. I hope this helps you stand up for your beliefs! You do you! 😉
@@AK-jt7kh Thank you so much! This helped a lot!
@@AK-jt7kh thank you very much dear Intp im an infj and what are you saying is very awesome i have only one correction
We are humans in the end xD and the truth the logic feeling and other things they exist its like a game
The truth is not subjective but iur ability to understand is limited what did you say about rest of things thank u a lot i really dont take things seriously when people argue xD because that makes things worse
Thank you! -
So glad you are finding some clarity❤️ thanks for watching
Thanks for sharing! I’m an ISFP too! Bunny kitty lol I completely understand what you are saying!!😃
“Because I want to and feel like it😌”
Lol I'm so glad I found you, I was laughing so much cause this is just so me. Yep, just cause I like it.
Yep! How do others not understand that!? Lol
Midnight Bearhug hey! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
@@sheandg 100% feel the same way, if my emotions are happy about something, it doesnt need to be logical :)
Liking something is subjective. There isnt always a logical reason for why you like what you like.
When you know your type you know your type. "I don't think you're type x" ... "Ok" "The sky is yellow" .... "Ok"
Ok......
What type do you think she is?
(XNFX)
I’ve been in ni state for 2 weeks and it was killing me to death . Too much thinking less much enjoying . thankfully I’m coming back to myself again.
I totally agree! I’ve actually have been in a “funk” lately and I know getting out there and “doing” is my medicine but I’ve been so resistant lately! Grrrr
Kati Anerson yeah i can. i was asking myself how can ni be that powerful ? ( mentality) .
(Even for INTJ architects!)
If your core is challenged, be gracious but don't give an inch.
Thanks! I have been trying to really think about reasons so much more and it does feel like a workout for the brain lol
@@sheandg Oh, so that's why your hair looks gorgeous on every video. Enjoy some feminine Fe flattery, haha
Jan Krejčí Lol I’ll take it, I’m not above any form of flattery! Especially when it comes from demon Fe ;) nice work!
Lol, the shirt. I'm an ISFP and have a similar shirt that says "Nobody Likes a Shady Beach". Hilarious...
I'm dating an ISFP and whenever I ask for a reason, I'm told that I'm attacking and that's how I ended up with your video. Okay.. so the reasons don't come natural to you. It's not that you are dismissing me by not telling me. Got it. Thank you.
Oh wow. 🥲
Ask them how do you feel about.. (whatever it is). Even though you do not get a direct answer or reasoning you will get one closer then asking for a reason why an isfp is thinking a certain thing
Omg this is me!!!! 😅 I love your videos
Thanks! So glad you can relate! ❤️
Nah, that didn't have anything to do with MBTI, that guy was just a psychopath.

Lol! I want a new tractor too! I already have plans on what kind of trouble I can make with that..... new garden beds galore
My whole thing is why do they want to know why you like pink. I can't give a reason why I like pink either!
Well, when it comes to persoanl preferences like food, colors, smells, hobbies, movies, etc. you dont really need reasons. You just like what you like.
I love bacon bits beyond reason and I dont know why. 😀
The interesting thing is a lot of people
Don’t really know what they like! I always find that mind boggling!
@@sheandg Well, that is one of the strengths of having lead introverted feeling. My wife is an ISFP and has a very long list of personal preferences
Lol I bet she does! As long as you are part of those preferences all is good 😜
Hey you! I think I have seen you in the Unofficial Objective Typing group on Facebook. I think I am also an Fi lead and can really relate to this.
Hey! Yep that is me in the FB group. Demon Te can be a struggle huh?! Lol
Se (Extroverted Sensing) doesn't explain. It shows what Fi likes/dislikes.
That makes sense!
they're all feeling based reasons.. I like sewing because I like this and I like to do this and I like this.. it's all still Fi.
Don’t ask me why I just did it lmao yup that’s me
The struggle is real!

Picking up a hammer and smashing your kitchen on a whim is more of Se tool, and Te is then forced to tag along to pick up the pieces.
Im making a whole album pretty much on my whole beliefs and values. It took me awhile but I definitely figured out the "why" to these feelings.
Im still very new to learning personality types 😅
it's always hard for people to explain why they like something. when you get down to it, the answer is always "just cuz" ...right? lol
True story! Just cuz!!! The people that have all the reasons just floor me! Lol
Sheila w same 😂
Watching this video as an INTJ, it seems that it's even hard for an ISFP to offer reasons for why it's hard to offer reasons. What I got from this is merely that you simply don't offer reasons...because you just don't...for no reason.
OMG! I have that shirt.
Introverted feeling is so subjective it drive people nuts because there is no logic to it. Sorry for whoever the husband is that guy will be in trouble.
7:45 this is where I really switched and was like MEEEEEEWE
Meant MEEEEE, but this typo is too great to fix haha
Rabid kitten haha I call myself a sour patch. One moment I am sweet the next I am sour just depending on how you are testing me. Don't test me.
Yes! Don’t test my Fi! Lol
"Don't be a salty heffer" is a shirt an ISIP would wear not an ISFP. ISFPs are not rude.
What kind of personality your husband haves? I think he understands you well. If someone other than your husband would have seen your kitchen probably they would think that you went crazy or you had a fight with someone. :))
I think he is ESTP, he is super go with the flow and likes to do the Se things too and thrives on change. We do pair really well on many things.
I love isfps

You haven't shown your artistic and fashion sense like an ISFP would. I don't care if you believe that you are an ISFP, I know from watching you and the clothing that you wear that you are an ISTP. You like workimg with a sledgehammer like an ISTP. You wear a shirt like an ISTP would wear. You don't have to be creative to sew. You can sew to hem jeans.
