Is This Secret Tower The WORST Spent Money In BTD6?

The Everseer secret tower in Bloons TD 6 on the map Encrypted is one of the most expensive things you can buy in the entire game, and while it's a cool easter egg to have, when it comes to popping bloons its actual power is questionable for the price we have to pay!

Correction: You don't need $50k in sacrifices, just a Tier 5 tower from each category is enough which brings the total cost down by a nice amount!

Prince of darkness: 26.5k
Sentry champion: 32k (monkeyopolis would be cheaper but it doesn't fit)
Total: 109,785 for all tier 5s + the four gravestone monkeys + 127,000 for sun temple = 236,785 - ~89,400 (sun temple sellback + selling tier 1s on graves) = **147,385**
You could get it cheaper if you discount all towers with villages and Chinook them into their spots but I'm not doing more math

Fun fact, you don't need the tower to cost 50k, you only need tier 5 towers. You can use the cheapest tier 5's to activate the secret

I don't even care about the money, it's not worth the SPACE it consumes.
Instakilling towers can be worth a million, it doesn't matter, but you could have placed a juggernaut in there and it would be stronger.

I personally think the Dark Dungeons tower is the worst. For a higher cost, can't even pop purples.

Both have additional downsides apart from cost. Dark Dungeon guy can't pop purple, this one removes all the space for towers in the center of the map.

at the time you have enough cash to activate the dark dungeon statue just get something like a ninja to pop the purple it's that easy

It really doesn't need to pop small bloons. You're going to have small bloon defense already if you're able to afford it in a real game.

Yes, yes it's the worst. Not only does it do mediocre damage, I takes away the best placements you have on the map for towers.
Cost is one factor, but also it's placement is horrible. It removes the best places to place more useful (and cheaper) towers.

The tower's bloon-popping effect is sort of obviously not the main draw. If you can afford it in a real game, you already have plenty of small bloon defense, and you're getting half a paragon for a fraction of the cost.

I wonder if you can do any chinook shenanigans by setting it to move a tower to an open spot on one of the central tombs then buying the temple while the chinook is doing it's job - would it just auto sell the tower when the Everseer pops out or could you get a sneaky super mines or something in the middle there? ^.^

as soon as Ethan showed this secret tower i tested it out in sandbox. realised it was trash the only real good thing was the moabs hooks.
Even then it only went to ZOMG the bad bloon wasn't effected which makes sense but for the cost it was horrible.

Looks like, as with all things Super Monkey, it is just an expensive disappointment. Without a ton of support it is far less useful than a 420 Carrier and 024 Necro working in tandem for much less cash and work.

Sacrifices to everseer do not have to exceed 50000 and from my testing it doesn’t matter if it’s 10000 or 50000 the stats stay the same

I think it is a cool tower? effect? however the major problems in ultra late game are DDTs and BADs. To get this tower, you need to waste the platforms in the middle where a dart paragon or a VTSG would do way better. A BMA would actually do very similar to THE PORTAL (maybe be a little worse) but wouldn't waste space. To conclude, i would say it is very cool but not really very practical.
