I've been doing this for about 2 weeks now. Things Ive learned... 1. Yes optimise with tags and description and triple key words etc... especially if you are a new channel. 2. The short title needs to evoke curiosity and the 'reveal' or value of the short needs to be at the end of the short. As soon a s people see the reveal, they swipe away. If that's too early in the short then you lose viewer retention. Need to keep viewer retention >80%. It's better to have a 7 sec short that gets 90% retention than a 30s short that gets 33% retention. 3. Upload via phone so you can adjust 'thumbnail' frame. Again this should evoke curiosity as much as possible... People who chose to view needs to be >75%... 4. Yes, use it as a strat for subs and to get into peoples watch history and leverage your long form. Hope this helps 😊
but you can't really get monetized for those kind of vids, with Short Fund ending, with new Short Monetization, people at YT will actually review your channel and yours falls under reused content like same as a compilation channel, that's why I stopped doing my family guy shorts
@@freshall that's true i had to come to the realization youtube stops promoting your shorts if you upload reused content also they don't monetize them so i now made a whole new channel about a nother niche, it was such a stupid idea after all

@@ryanrao147 It's a big advantage when you make shorts and long form content in the same channel, just pick a monetizable and viral niche and you're good to go
That unfortunate.. I have not had much luck on TikTok either. Im mostly just posting to my tin Tok page to drive people to my TH-cam channel. TH-cam has much better monetization than TikTok.. I wouldn't be opposed to doing a one month challenge tho!
My channel started on October 28th. Got 560 subs so far. Posted 1-2x per day. 95 videos so far. And my vid quality is as good if no better than most of my niche.

i post about 2 shorts a day for a month and gained 60k views but at starting my literally all videos are getting 5k views then it started to fade down why

It depends.. I try and post at least one per day.. the more the better in my opinion but as far as what time I post its usually anytime from 3-6 PM!
