I think it's important to realise that you can't start at the top when creating a TH-cam channel. It's perfectly normal to make mistakes, get frustrated and have high and low views. Remember that the vast majority of large channels started many years ago, and as long as you learn, practice and get better, in time you'll get there!
I think for me this is a timely reminder that we need to keep things simple as a new creator. 1. Don’t over complicate it or Over Think it. 2. When Something works - Get curious and double down. 3. Notice what’s happening when we do procrastinate? Do we feel overwhelmed/not good enough. Tine to listen to my own “advice” 😅
I followed the advice: " post 100 crappy videos to get started" that's why i have this channel 😂. Started a month ago, what i learned is, if you post crappy videos, people are not intersted to subscribe to you😂. but i'm still happy i started, i just need to find the right niche for me.

I started posting videos mid February. I have 860 subscribers now. I watch a bunch of videos with tips and tricks. However, some of the best advice i got is to 1. Get started 2.get your first 50-100 videos first 3. Just keep posting, you are 1 video away from your best video.
One thing I found is that starting a TH-cam channel about something your passionate about makes it a lot easier. I only have 3 subs and have the greatest time on the earth making videos.
trying to grow in a saturated niche has been a challenge, but I love every second of the process. That's how I know I'm in it for the right reasons! I hope every other small channel that watches this video finds their version of "success!" 🖤

I am 55 subs away from 1K. I did not take my channel seriously until less than a year ago. I don't do it for money. But it doesn't mean I'm not passionate about my topic. And I want to serve my viewers well. This channel has been instrumental in helping me.

I'm what you'd call a small-but-hopeful channel, who's gained almost 300 subs in the last year. I haven't even hit the crux of what my channel is going to be about yet (I'll eventually get there), but it turns out that people really like frogs and frog habitats. I made a series of videos on that and it's been _my_ niche for a while, even though most of the subs and viewers are Australians. I doubled-down on my first video and it paid off, and now people from other countries are watching as well. I doubt I'll hit 1k subs this year but I believe it's not far off. the channel is supposed to be about videography (scenes, techniques for capture, etc.) which I'm sure will pay off once it gets into gear.
I reached 1,000+ subscribers and 4,000+ watch hours in less than a month with just 6 videos got demonetized for a reused content and deleted all the videos and made some corrections and in less than a month I got 4,000+ watch hrs again and later finally got monetized again.
Based on what I've learned so far I've come 2 realize that each person has Different requirements of what they r looking for in a TH-cam video...pretty much similar to how they deal with real life situations as well. So when I hear information like this..in this video it helps But..I personally believe people will eventually change what they look for over time bruh. I'm just gonna have 2 continue 2 absorb pretty much endless information..but that is only for me 2 get a better understanding of what's happening and why is it happening.
It’s very funny how people want 1000 subscribers, but then 99% of them realize that earn 6$ / month… TH-cam has become a money service. If you want views and subscribers, make Ads

Sir i was averaging 100k per short but one day suddenly my reach weent from 2m to 400k and now within 400k reach i barely hit 1k views but back then i used to get 20k average at 400k reach ❤
It looks like the trend you hopped on has past my friend. lf you use OPC (Other people’s content) by that I mean upload footage from a movie etc it can only take you so far, then people start to crave originality. This is only my opinion and I could be wrong. Good luck and good health 👍
Oh, and just remembered: the utter irony of Rob doing a video about the frustrations of getting your first 1000 subscribers. The same Rob telling everyone that subscribers don't matter, and how he hasn't subscribed to anyone in years. The same Rob who had to search to find 5 channels that miraculously got their subs in 60 days. Whilst totally ignoring those of us repeatedly stating that TH-cam has been systematically removing ours for months, three at a time.
There is nothing contradictory. When we say subscribers don't matter, we mean don't race to gain subscribers. Focus on your channel content, on watch hours, on packaging, on your videos being pushed to people who are not on your subscribers list. When you focus on your content and your ideal viewers (as Rob explained in the video), your subscriber count will grow anyway. The point here is don't buy subscribers, don't use the promote tab to gain subscribers, don't do sub-baiting content, etc.

I think I’m on my way to 1000 subscribers but not sure. I started posting around a week and a half ago and already at 251 subscribers. I’ve gotten good feedback regarding the drawings I’ve shown. Only time will tell I guess. I will continue to take my time and post only when I feel a drawing, combined with the editing, music, location etc is good enough for people to see. Good luck everyone. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your thumbnail tip make SO MUCH SENSE! My "viral" video (165k views compared to low thousands or less) has such a basic but striking thumbnail. It's just 2 images, one with 😮💨👎 the other is 😎👍. People can clearly see one is the bad option the other is the good and the title gives some info. This was just a happy accident, but I'll remember this for future content.
My favorite TH-camr is Ella Katherine. She used to do boarding school blogs. Butt she just graduated. So now she’s going to go do travel blogs. I’m going to stay watching her!

I did this with shorts. One of my shorts got a 1 out of 10. It was about the rarest lego piece. Since it did so well, I made another short with similar title about the rarest mini figure. That video flopped and is my lowest performing, even though I though it was my most engaging and best editing I had done. I'm starting to think shorts are luck based. If they aren't, what am I doing wrong?
Niches are fine, passion is better. If you don't have any passion for the subject you are teaching....it's gonna wear you down asap. Have fun, grow, make a solid team, have fun together, gj you reached 1m subs. :D

Your thumbnail tip make SO MUCH SENSE! My "viral" video (165k views compared to low thousands or less) has such a basic but striking thumbnail. It's just 2 images, one with 😮💨👎 the other is 😎👍. People can clearly see one is the bad option the other is the good and the title gives some info. This was just a happy accident, but I'll remember this for future content.

I did this with shorts. One of my shorts got a 1 out of 10. It was about the rarest lego piece. Since it did so well, I made another short with similar title about the rarest mini figure. That video flopped and is my lowest performing, even though I though it was my most engaging and best editing I had done. I'm starting to think shorts are luck based. If they aren't, what am I doing wrong?
@@TimeFrames0 I have experienced the same thing. One short gets 10k views, the next gets under 500. I think it is largely luck based.
