See, I don’t know... I just started playing F:NV on an old PS3, I get to Primm about a day ago, and the whole area and the quests that go along with it are just... really dull. Dull as in, oh, an extremely militant group with over 5 or 6 trained soldiers can’t go into the town, kill 2 guys outside the Viki & Vance, then go take out 12 or so guys in the Bison Steve (most of which wield tire irons or less), then lock down the town by building road blocks. Yup. Makes complete sense from a lore perspective. Totally need a dude that just woke up from being shot in the head with nothing to his name but 4 stimpacks and a Browning Hi-Power to kill em’ all. The whole quest just seems insignificant and I was confused most of the way. Oh, and being the buggy game that it is, I fast travel from Mojave Outpost back to Primm only to be presented with a message that says “Sgt. McGee has died!” I later saw the bastard’s body on the little overpass over the road that has 3 mines that I remember taking out. The loot on the convicts and in the rooms in the Bison Steve is alright, but 2 snipers sit upon the roller coaster tracks, one sniper being on a track segment that I couldn’t even reach, therefore being unlootable. I know I’m a console player, and the console versions of the game were extremely neutered, but it just makes you jealous for more. That wide open space with nothing or no one to Inhabit it, it just pisses me off, kinda. If Bethesda ever decides to give their fans a reboot of New Vegas, I think Primm should feel more lived in or populated or something.
I think I finally understand why Vegas doesn't sit right with me now (other than the theme, because it felt less apocalyptic). There wasn't much going on in a lot of key places. It felt like a well designed minecraft world, where all there are in most places are villagers who sell you stuff and things to kill.
Does anybody know a purpose for "new Vegas home" south of northern passage and north of the strip and gun runners and 2 houses down from the jackals shack? I always use that house as my player home and decorate it, the only container in the house that might not be safe is the large bureau. It always struck me as odd because it's one of the only homes in the game with no assigned npcs and perhaps it's linked to cut content?
I actually have no idea what it's from anymore sadly. One late night last year I found a royalty free track, sped it up, clipped 6 seconds of it, then made some cassette samples for the beginning and end.
Why is there so much shit taken out of this game!?!?! It just doesn't end... you could really have potentially a very in depth expansion to the main game or half a game right there.

@@Sp00ch123 please dont say mods around ps4 folks.......theyll cry in a corner for weeks........now if youll excuse me i need to buy some bulk kleenex for my corner time.
@@matthewnunya8483 Maybe someday you'll get to enjoy the wonders of modding
@@Sp00ch123 yes......once i return to the pc world anyway
Good job man I love your videos 😁 also what’s the intro music you use
We really need a port of New Vegas to a more modern engine
Those Mojave Express delivery order notes seem weird as they are. They're not terribly important since the other 5 were carrying trash, but it has the appearance of being part of something larger when it's ultimately not. Like ah, I need to hunt down these notes to... no? oh, never mind them.
That's a good point 👌
I truly love your content a relic of the past that is beloved could of been so much better it’s mind blowing sometimes I hope they remaster fnv one day but you should also do some other games as well just an idea
Bet I love these videos
I've been watching this series for months and I don't know if I remember if I asked before, but is there source to the intro music?
It's the music that plays over the ending slides if im not mistaken
8:50 this diálog was also recorded in spanish so it was cutted late in devwlopment
Yet again a great video, keep it up.
Thanks bro! 🙏😭
I love how people are STILL making videos of new Vegas. It pisses me off home unfinished this game is (because of Bethesda) and I love to think of what it could have been, because it’s amazing with the content it still has
I wonder how long it would take for someone to restore a majority of the cut content in the game
Another great video. Love the content.
Thanks bro! 😊
Wasnt the last part in the game? I swear I must've had a bug or something cause I had the option to listen to nash dialog. I remember going to his house when they were asleep before I saw the other dead courier body outside of it.
The lines in that video are alternate, probably early unused takes with slightly different dialogue.
@@TriangleCity :0 thank you!
5:20 Hi there, would you like to sign my petition?
You gotta be fucking kidding.
Damn, imagine if obsidian had more time and no preocupation for console optimization
Ah Primm. Another victim of "the consoles wont be able to handle it, so lets just cut it."
Lmao no, its a victim of the game being made in 18 months. Also, you know that consoles run new vegas better, right? On pc you can barley get the game to work even with a bunch of mods specifically made to get the game to work. On console, ive had ONE crash on my current 30 hour save. Ive had 2 crashes on one of my 80 hour saves. Seems to me that pc cant handle new vegas
@@cynicalgold9992
- *"Also, you know that consoles run new vegas better, right?*
Because it was MADE to run on consoles in SPITE of the PC.
With Fallout 4, consoles were first in mind before the PC. Vegas was PC first, but since Bethesda was like,"No, consoles first!" larger Vegas had to take a back seat.
- *"On pc you can barley get the game to work even with a bunch of mods specifically made to get the game to work."*
Because consoles were made FIRST priority...
- *"On console, ive had ONE crash on my current 30 hour save."*
Again, because consoles were prioritized.
- *"Ive had 2 crashes on one of my 80 hour saves. Seems to me that pc cant handle new vegas"*
Once again, it was optimized for the console. ffs lol
But you see, unlike the console, I can optimize the game on my own, add any mods I want and play a completely different game from you.
So, have fun with your neutered version of something that was going to be awesome :D
I know, I know,"Then why am I complaining?" Because Im not the CEO of a mega corporation. I make something, nobody gives a shit. These people make something, even if it IS shit, YOU still buy it and pat them on the head giving them reason to continue doing it. STOP PATTING THEM ON THE HEAD!
@@SvendleBerries dude, you have no reason to be this upset lmao. Its not my fault that pc isnt the end all be all
@@cynicalgold9992
Im not upset. Im just saying youre wrong and explaining why. Maybe READ what I say instead of just writing if off because you dont like it.
@@SvendleBerries except nothing i said is wrong whatsoever. I said New Vegas runs better on console, which is true. I also said that New Vegas barley works on pc even when modded specifically to work better, which is also true. So you didnt "explain why im wrong" because im not.
Also, you sent me multiple paragraphs in response to like 2 or 3 sentences. That comes off as you being a bit upset
I feel like Primm is one of the most underutilized locations in the game.
The bodies disappear now if ncr takes over at least it happened in my game. Ultimate edition player on Xbox 1
Have you got a mod list that restores as much as possible to FNV? There so many on the Nexus.
After this will you do other Fallout games?
I will! 😊
Please do Fallout 3.
How much does the cut content mods restore in comparison from everything that didn't make it into the final game?
There's a significant amount that hasn't been restored since it would require a lot of liberties to be taken, simply due to how little we know.
@@TriangleCity :(
If new vegas was to be released pc only and the developers were given more time imagine how it would have turned out.
I tried to look online but there's really nothing about this house
Hey Griffin, your a good boy !
What is the song called that you use for your intros? I really like it lol
I actually have no idea what it's from anymore sadly. One late night last year I found a royalty free track, sped it up, clipped 6 seconds of it, then made some cassette samples for the beginning and end.
Great video as usual, keep up the good work.
Thanks dude! 😊🙏
Bro you’re like the oxhorn of cut content keep it up and you will get to a million subs! .... give up and get left on the cutting room floor lmao
primm slim vs easy pete who would win
Juat how much cut content is in this game already?
It disappeared in the first big patch
Why is there so much shit taken out of this game!?!?! It just doesn't end... you could really have potentially a very in depth expansion to the main game or half a game right there.
Cut you sure when you enter ask about the Benny and show him your order he tells you about what the other couriers took am Positive that's not cut
he still has lines for what the other couriers carried, but the lines in game are different from the ones in this video
nice content
Thank you so much!!! 😊
Anytime
Sgt. McGee was dead when I found him. I also beat the game before going back to find The Forecaster, and his predictions were a little late by then.
Primm is the Courier’s hometown!
Can you do dead money cut content if there is any?
I will at some point soon! 😊
well one day I'll invest on bethesda to remake and over haul Fallout 3 and NV but still it will be years. but I hope one day I'll be rich. but the question is do people buy the game if a remake of all the Fallout game appear or happen ? or would the original fans buy one ?
It's surprising new vegas held fanbase for so long, but people will obviously prefer new fallout to a remake.
Is there any cut content about the Enclave ?
Very little. Pretty much everything intended for them made it into the Remnant questline.
The Enclave soldiers and Officers from Fallout 3 can still be spawned in FNV with console commands. But it's likely they just remained in the files as legacy content and were never meant to be used.
