One of the funniest scenes in the show was when Sheridan got into the elevator with Lenir after his night with Delenn and Lenir asked "woo... hoo?" The line and the look on their faces afterwards in particular always makes me lmao
The special effects were done on a cluster of 486 computers running an early version of Linux. The master computer that controlled the job was an amiga that ran a version of Linux. Linux had ray tracing as early as 2006. It is the clunky Windows version that held and still holds back ray traced frame generation.
It was unreal for B5 was actually using the Amiga personal computers to make the special effects in the 90's. Imagine if the company never went out of business, but kept on evolving how much further pc's would be today. The Amiga was multimedia before multimedia.
I thought the graphics were more realistic in the first four seasons. They might as well have been filming actual ships as far as I'm concerned. I don't remember exactly what changed, but they did something different in the fifth season which I could tell was CGI in the finished product.
The look on the other Captains face when he ordered ramming speed is why there is a phrase, a picture is worth a thousand words. The actor did it beautifully. The look simply states, if there was ever any doubt that Sheridan would do anything to save earth, he would. And what a privilege to serve and die with a man of such conviction.

I appreciate keeping all of the "Sheridan's Duty/Agamemnon's Final Charge" clip in the video. That scene was just as much about the Agamemnon's journey with Sheridan as it was Sheridan.
Thrawn is really devastating, if he has time to prepare. Leisure time to assauge the situation. He is the batman of Star Wars. He does okay with maybe 1 surprise turn, but any more and his overly complicated and low margin for error plans fail. Often spectaculary, half the times deadly.
I wonder if the cut in Sheridan's cheek wasn't a leftover of when Michael O'Hare was supposed to bethe lead for the show's entire run. It'd be an explanation for Sinclair's scar in War Without End.
The largest nuclear weapon ever detonated on Earth was air-dropped on a parachute to give the bomber enough time to escape (even then it was questionable if they'd survive). The fireball never touched the ground: the shockwave created by the blast bounced off the Earth's surface and pushed it halfway up towards space before the shockwave itself went around the Earth--- three times. The Gaim mines snuck aboard the White Star? Each one was ten times more powerful.
I hear the occasional rumor that they're going to reboot it, but I really don't want that to happen. The actors were perfect for their roles and they are the ones that brought the characters to life. I would be interested in seeing a successful spinoff, however.
@@AuthorDodgeMerrin I don't want a reboot either, just for the popularity to keep it in circulation. Spinoff wouldn't be bad. Hard to continue with do many actors tragically passed away but it might be interesting to see what happens to Centauri prime and telepaths in the long run.

Peter had the bear made for the episode and gave it to Straczynski (known to his friends as Joe Straczynski, J.S.) as a gag gift.
