    Dear Kunal, I am a Microbiologist, Biochemist (and a mini chef). The name of the bacterium is Lactobacillus bulgaricus at 2:47. Also, curd and Yoghurt (also spelled yogourt or yoghourt or yogurt) are the same thing. Curd is an Indian name where as Yoghurt (UK), Yougurt (US). Probiotic youghurt may contain bacteria such as Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Streptococcus thermophilus. But I want to tell you guys the most imp thing: If you look for probiotic drinks then look whether it has L. casei strain shirota (commonly found in Yakult), it is a super beneficial bacterium. Lastly, I also make cool videos here in the UK but not as famous as you haha. Thanks for this excellent video! All the best. Have a lovely day guys :)

    And is sour dough bread a healthy version of the normal bread .

    • @harshityashwardhan
      @harshityashwardhan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, well iam answering after 10 months don't know if you found about this already but.
      Well they study which say flat bread , they mean Chapati by that term ...
      And if your dough is sour it means it have undergone fermentation . Which may be healthy if it have good bacteria , but remember many pathogenic ( disease causing) bacteria also do fermentation . And btw they all die the moment you bake the Dough.

    Finally, I know! Thanks a lot. Does it mean that bacteria in curd is uncontrolled? Does it mean that yogurt and probiotic yogurt are safer and healthier than curd? I never find curd here in Germany. Jogurt seems to be less sour and thinner than curd.

      Hey, no it's not that bacteria in curd ( dahi ) grow uncontrollable . They grow untill there's enough lactose( sugar of milk) present.
      And you can eat dahi and yogurt both the only difference is yogurt is a bit more Creamy .

    Thanks for clarifying the difference between curd,yogurt & prebiotic curd.. please explain how in a normal household,what should I do to get yogurt .Normal curd will give curd but from where to get those specific bacteria which are resistant to gastric juices/ chemicals etc..Are the separately available in the market like yeast...please clarify
