  • In our first time in Tirana Albania we we impressed to hear that the city had recently broken a tourism record last year (2023) by enticing an incredible 10 million people to visit!

Love it! I also try to learn the language at least a bit as well, makes an incredible difference!

As a half English Albanian thank u for this video. The tourism now is crazy here but also a good stepping stone for Albania to progress as a nation which was under heavy communist control under enver hoxha. I’m from berat a small village which so beautiful and there are lots of tourists there too like German, Japanese, Italy. In durres it’s a rich city with a beautiful beach. I live there myself. Russians and Ukrainians living there as well as English. I’m Albania is getting this positive recognition because it’s been put in a bad light by the media with crime etc but there is crime everywhere. shume falemderit

No problem bro, having read through some of the newer comments I've been receiving on this video it's clear to me that there is a lot of negativity from people around Albania which I have no doubt is being fueled by misinformation. I for one happened to find people of Albania to be kind, friendly and accommodating, and the beauty of Tirana was unlike anything I had seen! We will definitely come back and hope to explore the coastal towns and spend more time learning the language and coversing with the people. Thanks for commenting and watching too mate, the support means a lot - Bobby 🙂

We didn't manage to visit a pub unfortunately, so much to do and so little time haha! But we did go to a restaurant and try an Albanian beer which was pretty nice, it's the next video come to think of it so keep your eyes peeled 🙂👌

pubs are not part of our culture, there are restaurants and cafes but no pubs in the likes that exist in europe

Visit Albania. Your car is probably already there.
