Damn, he LOOKS like the real Hamilton quite a bit (well, according to his portraits)
He needs more of a skinny bastard shit weasel look, he's not slender and tiny enough IMO, but he's definitely handsome and has that pointed nose and chin. And I like how playful he is. The dude who played him in John Adams was *way* too stoic
@@jayeb618 I feel like the face shape kinda makes him not look like Hamilton, but his eyes nose, lips, hair are pretty on point
@@merciimadam Everything about him looks like the portrait of the ten dollar bill. Even his face shape... in fact I don't know how they found him.
This series has quite a few people who look very close to the portrait of who they're suppose to portray... except Simcoe. Actor is great in acting the villain in the series... but looks nothing like the portrait of historical figure.
@@jmitterii2 oh yeah totally, I think the most damning is Ben tbh. I remember writing an essay on early American espionage and I looked up photos of Benjamin Tallmadge. There’s this one drawing of him when he was younger and I was genuinely taken aback, it looked just like Seth
I have just read an article about this scene, and learnt that Sean wrote it on his own (as it is in the description, as I see) to persude the bosses of the show to bring Alex's character in and I am completely impressed. Hamilton's greatest campaigner is Hamilton. He must be proud of him somewhere in heaven. Such an adorable story
His voice is so- wow.
“To the *c o l p e r* ring”
It’s sad how in today, we don’t give Tallmadge little to no credit
why, though? also, did tallmadge even look like this? in all of the historical paintings, he didn’t, but idrk
He's so attractive 😍😍😍
Both Ben and Alexander are attractive!!
@Caitlynn Berthold yes
turn is good
turn is great
i love turn
cuz it's good
He's one hell of a bi
He's defently a good Hamilton. You could just se in his eyes how he was thinking "Damn that homosexuality is a sin or I would have him in my tent all night." while looking at Ben
Frida - actually, Hamilton was historically bisexual and shared a bunk with John Laurens (a historically gay man) and it was actually because Washington wanted them to. Washington was the first Laurens x Hamilton shipper XD
Sorry to burst your bubble, but Washington never explicitly WANTED them to share a cabin together. While Laurens and Hamilton were confirmed to be lovers, they never were exactly alone in any cabins together. Hamilton arrived in Valley Forge in January, and there was no cabin there at first. While it is still being largely speculated, the aides-de-camps likely shared a cabin built behind the Potts house. However, it is also said that Washington and his aides-de-camps had their own tents and later moved into the Potts house. The huts were built afterwards. While it is likely the two aides shared a cabin, they probably had to share two beds with 4-7 other men in them, depending on if the other aides were in the camp. While you may be partially correct, they had to share two beds with 4-7 other men, and the entire cabin was divided amongst the aides. Also, Washington never wanted the TWO of them to have one together, he just let all of the aides share.
saidebibi well thx for correcting me then :)
Yw! Always happy to help :)!
I feel left out of this scene.. with Washington’s adopted sons.
Fav show
I love TURN
Now hear me out if there is ever going to be a TV Series or movie on Alexander Hamilton's life I would want you to to be cast you act his personality so well and you look so much like him your the best actor to take on the role that I've seen yet and I've seen a lot of actors portray him. It's a shame they cut that scene because it would have been a very good introduction.
Numrich would've been an God damn good Laurens, like, look at that sexual tension
OMG RIGHT-
I absolutely agree!! And most of BennyBoi’s story in AMCs TURN borrows a lot from John Laurens’ real life.
@@JReyna_LQ exactly
After the war Tallmadge was join the Federalist party (founded in no small part by Hamilton) and served as a House Representative for Connecticut. Given their wartime collaboration and political beliefs its not unreasonable to assess that Tallmadge and Hamilton remained political allies until Hamilton's death
he's just flirting with ben throughout the whole scene is ben is so confused oh my god xdxdxd
Ben: “I think you accidentally left a dollar in my hand. Why??”
Alex: “I think you know why😏”
Ben: “I DONT. WHY DID YOU GIVE ME A DOLLAR???”
TAKE THIER CANNONS - battle of Yorktown
I’m the only one who is hamiltrash
tara Hello fellow hamiltrash :)
no, i'm here. :>
How does a rag tag volunteer army In need of a shower, somehow defeat a global super power?
No, I am here
What up, I heard the word HAMILtrash and I’m here now
Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Hamilton sick with Yellow Fever during the battle at Trenton?
From what I've read, he forced himself out of bed so that he could participate. Being so hellbent on finding glory one way or another, there was probably no way he was going to sit that one out if he could find a way to stand and either distinguish himself in such an exciting maneuver or find glory in death. And as it turned out, he helped drag canons to fire at the Hessians along a street and definitely distinguished himself.
Awesome
Poor Tallmadge looks so confused
Ever
HES SO SHORT

What the season ana epizode
