Been preaching about the GCloud for a while now and glad to see you give some props. Supports ALL remote play options, cloud options, good for emulation and the battery lasts forever. Good stuff again!
@@GamerHeavenOfficialSame as any other Android device. I use RetroArch to emulate anything from NES through N64 and PSP. Use standalone emulators for PS2 and GameCube. Even some Switch games can be emulated pretty well on GCloud.
I have an Ally and a G Cloud and I love them both. They do different things better than each other and they make portable gaming 100 percent perfect for me.
300 is steep when a series S is 300 and plays games locally. So is a base model steam deck..... And neither of those need internet or game subscriptions. This thing cost a lot more then 300 when you do the math.
crazy how reviewers are literally paid to review and be informed on stuff and they do simple mistakes like this and not use moonlight like everyone else is
Looking to sell and replace my ROG Ally aside from the Steam Deck the G Cloud has always caught my attention, I use cloud on my Ally and while it doesn’t run perfect all the time I still get a great experience
Cool review, I like the Gcloud alot for geforce now, remote play on my xbox, xcloud, android games, and emulation. Side note: the wall of controllers is awesome
Worth mentioning that the primary reason Microsoft and Sony can sell their hardware at a loss is because they get a percentage of every single game purchased for their respective platforms. Valve can do this as well for the same reason (with Steam purchases). Logitech lacks any such revenue stream that is intrinsically tied to costumers buying their hardware.
I'm pretty sure my cloud came with a charger. Wonder if they are trying to save and bring the price down? 200 steal 250 pushing it still imo. But super comfortable in the hand and battery for days literally
Love my G Cloud. I have both the Steam Deck and GCloud and I use the Steamdeck when it's something that runs great locally on it and the cloud when it's something demanding I would rather stream. PS You have some weird sounds in your audio. I'm not sure if it's the pop filter not working or if I'm hearing your mouth move. But just thought I'd let you know.
Sticks have dead zone adjustments in the options you can tinker with. Don’t use the Xbox or PlayStation apps. They are both limited to 720p with shitty bit rates to boot. XBXPlay and PSPlay fixes those issues using 1080p AND high bit rates. Price, sometimes you can snag it at $249 brand new.
@MrMartellSincere I mean, it's a 6800u device that's a pc handheld first attempt from a company that had never done one before, and it came out when everyone else was selling 7840u models for a pretty similar price. It was always pretty clear it wasn't gonna be a success. Imo the Loki Zero was the most interesting product in the lineup because it was so cheap with great ergonomics and build quality. But if Ayn learns lessons from it and does a Loki 2, well, the Odin 2 proves pretty well that the company can adapt and improve so it could be a device to look out for for sure.
It would be amazing if steam got into streaming. Steamlink is awesome, but what if you are out of town and no one is home to turn on your pc? I want one of these bad, just still wishing for "steamcast" to show up to the party.
just get a wifi controlled power plug and set your bios to boot after power loss, it‘s what i do to start my gaming pc remotely and it works perfectly. you‘ll also need a client like tailscale to make your devices behave like they‘re on the same local network but it‘s free and very easy to set up.
Kev can you yell at these companies for us like mobapad to make a legion go aftermarket joycon. A mobapad m6 hd scaled up to like 120% and fits the legion go would make the device a whole lot better
I would likely buy this if it was $100 less. Price doesn't really make a whole lot of sense otherwise, I could just add a few more shekels and get a Steam Deck.
Imma be frank - I prefer to play on the cloud over my steam deck and Asus ROG ally for multiple reasons. I have a1G fiber internet so Streaming locally is flawless for me. I can Stream from my gaming pc allows me to play all my AAA steam games at 1080p 60 on Max settings where those same games would struggle and look relatively terrible on mid-low using my ROG and my Steam deck. I Additionally. I'm able to play all the 16 but consoles, N64, PSX, PSP, NDS all the way up to GC and PSVita near flawless if not flawlessly. And I know the others can do it. But not for more than 4 hours Question -why did you avoid mentioning it's emulation capabilities? Afraid of Nintendo ninjas?
I love my portal and only use it within my house and really don't experience any latency considering my PS5 is harder to gigabit LAN with the wireless shut off and 6E wireless. I wouldn't rely on the portal for out of house gameplay and if so I would'nt log onto unsecured wireless connections to play a game. The Portal suites my needs.

How do you emulate on it?
Well with Nintendo killing citra and yuzu, not that well! @GamerHeavenOfficial

@GamerHeavenOfficial play store has all your emulators, gamecube and ps2 is alright. But dreamcast/psp down is really good
I just pick one up at a pawnshop for 90 bucks paid for one month of Xbox ultimate and I’m having a blast with this thing.
I have an Ally and a G Cloud and I love them both. They do different things better than each other and they make portable gaming 100 percent perfect for me.
I’ve been having issues with the g cloud thumbsticks and am returning it. How are the Ally’s?

I think a software update provided software adjustment for the thumbstick dead zones.
They are still some huge gappers
Also moonlight worked much better than steam link did for me
Moonlight and sunshine work so well on my network that I can forget I'm streaming.

Unfortunately the Xbox app has the best input latency for wanting to play a game that requires quick inputs
@@abelke Proof? Or hearsay?
Absolutely correct. I use both those apps and you can adjust the sticks. Also USB C to HDMI output now
Cheers bro great review, just noticed you posted another video will check that out asap
would've been nice to see the native and emulation side of the cloud explored. emulating older games is one chapter where it really shines.
I like the PS Portal and use it all the time. I'd pick one of these up for GamePass immediately if it were at $150.
The g unit joke was wild. Immediate sub 😂😂😂 also… 7:00 AYOOOOO 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 PAUSE
Bought mine in December and I love it. I installed some emulators and Daijisho and works like a charm.
I’ll have to give both of those a proper crack on this device
Logitech G Cloud is so underrated. The price is just too much. Still love mine though.
Please review the Ayn Loki Max
I don't think you can even buy the Loki Max any more?
@@dgevert true that it's tragic of itself that it says it's sold out 😔

Have you tried abxylute handheld
No I have not heard of it, have now and I will

bro when review of X10 gonna come i am only wating for your review and then i will decide buy that or not

I can try but my yelling voice isn’t much and these companies don’t respond well to it lol
lol I'm such a camera nerd. I paused at 0:24 to look at his camera settings even though I know it was fake😂😂

Yep. Or just get an Ayn Odin 2 at 300$ that it's A LOT better than the Logitech G cloud.
Cool but, bad controls layout. Valve's Steam Deck has the blueprint.
x10 review brother please
Tomorrow!
Needs a revision to a gen2 chip I would pay $450 bucks
I need to be able to play games offline for travel. That does not seem to be the way things are going - the Spotify of gaming is trying to take form.
G cloud is awesome!!!
It was interesting until i realized its the exact same price as a Xbox series S ....WTF?
