- The Queen Avocado is a huge variety of avocado that is quite massive when when compared to store bought Hass avocados.
Today I pick my first Queen avocado and do a quick taste test . #GrowAvocadoTree, #QueenAvocado
May have left the fruit on the tree a bit long, but this Queen Avocado is still quite delicious.

I also noticed that the Queen does well in high heat where some varieties don't do so well.

I still have my doubts its a queen, cause shape is all wrong looks closer to daily 11 shape.queen shaped more like a football but with distinct ridges on skin.

That is big for an avocado 🥑 nice to know it tasted okay haha hopefully it will bear more flavorful fruits in the upcoming year. What do you think about growing it in a tropical area?
It’s worth a try though I saw a TH-cam video about a guy trying to grow it in Florida, but didn’t do so well.
How is your sense of smell and taste after your bout with covid? I just got over a bout of covid but my sense of smell and taste hasn't returned. I'm wondering if it's effecting the way you are tasting the avocado.
I lost taste for a day, all returned fine.
There could of been a number of reasons the cado was a little bland. But even my wife tasted the fruit and echoed what I said.
I guess ill have to wait till next year. The tree has set about 20 fruitlets…
