I bought the 2DR EX-L V-6 2 weeks ago and it's a great car, that said it could have a better A/C my wife Hyundai has a way colder A/C it cools her car down in no time 2 or 3 miles. I can drive 20 miles and still have the A/C on high and LO on temp.
The 2013 Honda Accord is completely new and it most definitely has some flaws, but overall it's a brilliant vehicle. Regardless, I would personally but the Mazda6 over the Accord because I like it better. Think what you want, but we don't get a penny from Honda or Mazda. Not many sources can say that except Consumer Reports who also loves the Honda Accord.
Only in the U.S you can find more cars in front of a traffic light than people, for example if there are 177 cars on a street in those cars has a total of 200 people !!! And then we wonder why the ozone layer of the Earth is becoming thinner...Why my dear Americans carry your kids to school with huge 3 tons heavy SUV's that consume 25 liters of petrol per 100 kilometers?!?
although i do think America has an obsession with their motor vehicles, to blame global warming on carbon emissions is not quite accurate. I would pointing my finger at America's obsession with meat since methane emissions has much more devastating effect on out ozone than anything else on earth and the fact that they are cutting down rainforests in.order to build more cattle farms doesn't help.
Honda's are great. I still own my 94 accord. It has never failed to start, never left me on the road. I keep her well oiled, and had the belts changed, and that's all.
this is a first class rocket ship in the 6 cylinder.it's the only one engine that changes from a 6 cyl to 4 or 3 depending on power demand. seemless operation. Very nice ride and handling too. I not only own one, I now sell them! all trim levels and all colors. Hendrick Honda Bradenton! Robert
i love how they didn't make it all futuristic, a lot of matte painted silver around the car. like for example what ACURA have done to their TSX TL etc. it looks like an accord designed but a street racer. nice lowered end. mean front bumper. Not too much chrome to overkill it. but enough to make it luxurious
While I like this new Accord, I think the new Fusion is the best looking mid-sized sedan easily. Classy look, easily the nicest front end, and great flow from front to back. Just different from anything that's been done in this class for a while. Engines are perfectly reliable, as were the older models. MPG ratings you could have an argument there though. Excellent driving characteristics as well. Overall, my favorite in this class for making the largest leap all around. But this Accord is solid
I will get the Honda Accord 2013 Sport because I don't like that blind spot camera crap in the EX. The rear-view camera really helps you see short objects, but you still need to look at the back the old fashion way to see for oncoming traffic because the camera doesn't give you a wide angle. The camera helps prevent child siting on driveway deaths.
is the gdi engine in honda prone to carbon build up? i really wanted this car until i started hearing about problems with a gdi.. now im not so sure.... HELP!!!! i havent heard any cases online about extreme carbon build up in hondas, but also honda hasnt mentioned that theyve done anything to prevent it....
You meant to say S2000, and actually push button start we're in big rigs and race cars for many years, when i was a little kid my dad put a push button start in his 55 Chevy belair back in the 1970s so is not anything new, they are just more high tech now.
Honda V6 uses a "timing belt" wich has to be replaced at 110k miles, and since you are changing the belt, mind as well change the water pump. Thats almost $1000 to do.

The same work drive compared to the 4 cylinder and the diff is 2 miles per gallon at 450 miles per week consistent. but the drivability, power, and handling is way nicer in the V-6. all for only 2 mpg!
If the new Mazda 6 had more power I would trade my '05 RSX-S for it. But as it stands, it is a great looking car but just doesn't have enough oomph. When you design a car to look faster than it really is, something is amiss. That said, it is definitely a night-and-day improvement over the previous generation 6, which I wouldn't be caught dead in. That goofy-ass pointy front end with the swoopy headlights and ugly grille turned me off completely, so it's nice to see Mazda back in the game.
I dare you to compare the overall maintenance cost of ownership with this repair against any other brand. I have scene honda's with many more miles that which have not been changed nor the water pump. Many of them have upwards of 200 thousand miles. I take them in on trades for replacement new or certified pre-owned perfection Honda's....

the Accord might not have the tyle as the Fusion or Optima, but its engines are far better, the eccos from fusion are laggy w less horses and less fuel economy, and dats a fact. same w the optima n sonata.. Honda V6 is faster and same fuel as the Turbo from Hyundai n beter than Fusion.. awesome Honda
When a review doesn't mention any REAL problems, something fishy is going on. I have tested the Accord and there are some obvious flaws with any car. So to have a review that is almost entirely positive is screaming PAID ADVERTISING.
Me personally the center console and radio layout looks so plain to me in the altima. Hell, they didnt even bother to change the layout since like the 2003 altima.
if you don't know how to adjust you're mirrors or check for blind spots, you should not be able to drive. Relying on all this technology because were to lazy to do it on our own.
