I really like that pouch setup, Al! Some really good utility there.

Yes, I thought the same thing. That’s why I was surprised to get it on a pump up pneumatic. I thought man this is perfect for a 12 gr CO2 gun.

You can also use almost every thing from a p rod on a 2240 except the valve and breech and barrel. it make a pertty big difference in performance. I'm also almost positive the p rod breech can be modified to work on a 2240 by adding a few holes. I just haven't got around to modifying one yet. It's also would be the cheapest way to make a multi shot breech besides the grab mag but that not really a breech. The prod barrel will work with the breech once breech is mounted.💯👍✌️😉

That’s really cool. I’ve not played with them enough to know much. I understand the 1701 grip frame and trigger group can work with 2240 tubes but that’s about it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

@AlsAirguns yup the 1701 is basically a single shot marauder pistol but the 1701 comes with a LW barrel also a single shot 177.cal and it also has bare sights included. The breech doesn't except the pistol magazine . In my opinion a prod in 177.cal with a Lw barrel would be a better set up then the 1701 just because it will at least have the option to use a magazine. 💯👍✌️

I agree with you there. Rather than .177 I’d rather go the other way to .25 caliber. I’ve never owned a .25 & think I’d like to.

@AlsAirguns iv got the parts to build a 25cal pistol or could also be used to build a hpa bottle rifle . using marauder rifel parts so it would have the capability to be a really powerful 25cal pistol multi shot or can be made in to a regulated rifle bottle build for high power or really high shot count depending on what way its built out to. If you do really ever won't to build one just let me know 💯 💯👍✌️

That’s cool. 😎 Part of why I want .25 is CO2 is so much more efficient in larger calibers. Compressed air tends to treat all calibers equally. Btw, did you see Umarex’s new “pcp rifle (the Komplete) that uses disposable nitrogen capsules that look like 88 gram CO2 capsules?) The caps are at 3600 psi & the gun has a reg to back it down to like 1300 I believe. Wonder if people will buy it?
