Use blue lock tight on the adapter screws 💯🫡✌️👌👍
Fun fact you might or might not know is that you can take any old camera and make it night vision for free 🤔😁 to do this you have to disassemble the front lens once disassembled you will see a black/red lens uv filter remove it a reassemble every thing now you're camera can be used for night vision with the use of a ir flash light . Of course the high the quality of camera and ir the better it will function. Just a fyi diy💯👍👌✌️🫡
That’s really cool. Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks you just save me $$$$.
@jonl4802 no problem 🤑💰 . I wish there was a way to DIY a thermo scope. That they way to go . There to dang expensive in my opinion 🤑💯👍✌️💯
You’re very welcome.
Thermal is cool. Right now we have lots of fog at night which really limits night vision. Thermal would perform much better in that kind of weather. Limited but not as badly.
Nice intro to the scope, looking forward to this series. Unfortunately not the right time for me to be able to take advantage of the 10% discount.
Thanks & happy holidays!
Glad you are feeling better, Al. Thanks for the updates, and don't have too much fun while your wife is away. Stay safe up there.
Thanks brother.
I was thinking It wouldn't be to hard to get that mark 4 to fit in a 13xx style stock 🤔🧐🫡👍✌️👌
I think you’re onto something. I’d love to see one.
Have had mine around a month and have ZERO issues and nothing but good things to say about this cutting edge little beauty. I have the 22 caliber and this thing is ACCURATE beyond my wildest hopes. I never even mounted the scope it came with but mounted a Simmons 3 to 9 and havent regretted it. After sighting in and getting the feel of the trigger which took about 30 shots I took 10 gray squirrels and 2 cottontails with the next 12 shots. It is crazy accurate with Diablo 25.5 gr pellets that hit like a sledge hammer. To those bitching about the high cost of power cells you guys are totally missing the point of this gun. IT IS NOT a rifle to take to the range and blow through a can of 250 pellets at a sitting. What it is great at is casual plinking or pest control or small game hunting in the fall . The way this gun shoots I would be safe in saying 1 power cell would last me a whole season. Thank you Umarex, you have appealed to a group of shooters that couldnt care less about comp shooting or mortgaging the house for a compressor and scuba tanks which are just dumb. You built a very accurate , easy to shoot and very convenient rifle we have been waiting for . Once again. HOME RUN.
I totally agree. As it happens mine is wearing a NV400 DayNight Vision scope that I plan on doing some cold weather shooting with. Report will be out soon. Thanks for sharing your experiences. It means a lot. So many people speak with authority on topics they have no first hand experience with. Also the conventional wisdom is typically resistant to change. Now how could would a refillable cartridge be. One that could be reloaded from locally purchased nitrogen?
I got one a month ago and absolutely love it. The 22 caliber with 25.5 gr Diablo hunting pellets is a squirrel hunters dream. Have already shot 10 gray squirrels and 2 rabbits. Last rabbit was shot at 25 yds with the 54th shot out of the original nitro air tube. Im not a frequent shooter and probably won't go through the 300 pellets I bought for the gun in a year so nitro tube price is not a issue. This gun is a dream come true. Superbly accurate, great trigger and convenient as all hell. No expensive compressors, and pumping or scuba tanks . Just fun fun fun. Thanks Umarex. Home run.
Awesome feedback! I really like mine too. Plenty of power for small game and accuracy that puts that power where you need it. Also I was initially concerned about accessibility and pricing of the cartridges. I was desperate for something that claimed and my go to online retailers were out. I was pleasantly surprised to find them in stack at the local Walmart for $18.92. Sweet, huh.
@AlsAirguns Interesting test data Al...your QB78 turned in surprisingly good accuracy with those Fast Flights, far better than my Crosman 1377 for sure. Then again, QBs have never shown themselves to be very pellet sensitive in my experience; in fact, the only pellets I ever found to shoot poorly in ours were the Ruko Match in .22 caliber. In my testing so far, I prefer the heavier Gold Flights to the Fast Flights; they are more stable, more accurate, hit harder & are easier for my fumble fingered self to load 😅😁👍 I shot a chipmunk at close range on five pumps with my 1377 & the Gold Flight absolutely whalloped the critter on an angled headshot - DRT if I've ever seen it 👍🍻 I know you shouldn't & don't recommend it, but I've shot cans with the Golds, found the pellet essentially un-deformed, and shot them again at said cans making hits! These are very tough pellets, constructed similar to a Brenneke slug - the broad frontal area is impressive for a .177 pellet, and they certainly seem to be a viable hunting & pest control pellet in league with expanding designs like the Predator Metalmag, H&N Hornet & Crow Magnums, Crosman Destroyers, etc. I believe their design would make them viable in smoothbore airguns as well... The lighter, sharper, saboted Fast Flights are probably best suited to lower powered guns & rifled barrels, but you never know I guess... I did find that the Fast Flights shot well enough out of an old Industry Brand B3-3 underlever to consistently hit a vegetable can full of water at c.15 yards; they punched through one side, apparently bounced around & exited out the side - not bad 👍🍻 They also punched through the thicker bottom of the can at about the same range, besting the much heavier CPH 10.5 pellets I was also testing in both penetration categories, so I'd say they are worth more testing for sure..🤔💡👍🍻 Thanks for the videos as always Al. Hope you and your family are warm & well this winter 🙂👍👍🌡️
Thanks for sharing your experiences. Yes, I have found the golds to be really excellent pellets as well. In this instance I was looking for something that claimed velocity increase as I’d wanted a contrast to some of the Gamos I tested previously. Thanks again for taking the time to document your experiences and sharing them here. Take care.
@AlsAirguns Thanks Al...happy to contribute 👍🙂 I believe these Crosman Flight pellets are made in Hungary by Skenco; I theorize that Skenco also does final assembly for the Predator Poly & Metalmag pellets...JSB makes the pellets themselves, and they are then "assembled' in Hungary. My guess is that Skenco is producing the non-lead, polymer & metal tips & installing them in the Czech-made pellets... Take care Al & happy shooting 😁👍🍻 P.S. I also have some RWS HyperMax alloy pointeds I need to try out at some point.. you don't see much testing data on them it seems..
Why would you do that!!
My hack saw was hungry 😋
@@AlsAirgunsYk could of use it on a smaller gun like a BB gun? Idk but I feel bad for you saw
@ Don’t feel bad buddy. I had reasons for doing that I didn’t disclose. My buddy has problems on his ranch with these little nuisance ground squirrels we call diggers. They cause horrible harm to land, crops and livestock. You cannot walk up on them at all. But they are not afraid of people in cars. And our state law allows us to shoot them from vehicles on private roads. My friend wanted a short viper that was easier for him to handle in his vehicle if shots present themselves as he drives around the ranch.
Or gals
For sure.👍🏻
Nice find. Thought anymore on trying the 88g co2 with the komplete? Or adapter and 2x12.
Joseph has been kind enough to loop me in on research he’s done and plans for trying a couple of ideas with CO2, HPA, and potentially refillable nitrogen. So you could fill from the locally available 4 foot commercial tanks. I’m supposed to call him to see how we go about conveying the information he’s gathered. I’m also trying to get my one leaf nv400 videos out. They gave me some limited time discount code I can attach to that video. I’m thinking it’s 10% but need to look. Take care
I’m 4 years late apparently but is this able to convert to pcp?
Yes but not worth it. A smith that’s done those conversations in the past says that given the operating pressure that valve likes to operate at you’ll only get a couple of decent shots out of that tube. If you want to attach am hpa tank it’ll work fine but it’s not exactly portable in the way a pistol is supposed to be.
I purchased that model of pistol last month from Amazon. I noticed right away that the surface finish seemed smoother and the bluing somewhat darker than the other crossman 1322 model which I ordered two months ago. Though they were different models, I assumed they should have similar construction and finish. Well, I like the finish on my Chinese 2240 better than the 1322. I haven’t had even a hic-up from either of my pistols but the grip screws have stripped on my 2240 and the grip panels (plastic) are more flexible and seem toy-like.
I’m in agreement on the finish. My Chinese production gun has awesome blueing and the Laser engraved markings are another improvement over the old roll stamping. There are other product improvements too. A better breech screw for example.
This just slides on the barrel and you tighten down the set screws right? Just got a 3622 for Christmas and am planning on ordering this Tuesday.
Yes, installing it is super easy. The current design is more attractive too. Please do me a favor, if you order one please let Mike know that you heard about it here. Thanks 😊
@AlsAirguns I sure will
@ Thanks
Great VIDEO keep up the great work.
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
About how many shots do you get before you run out of co2 ?
With a adapter and bottle. It will make the komplete a refillable system. Any local welding shop can fill your large bottle up. they also rent out large cylinder. It way cheaper specially in the long run. To refill a large 4ft cylinder at a welding supply shop A 4ft cylinder of nitrogen to refill around 60$ I wouldn't doubt a 13ci bottle wich is slightly larger than a 88g tank. can be filled close to 100x off a 4ft nirogen cylinder if not more. Just a fyi reminder . Specially if they become hard to find 💯🫡👍✌️😉
I really like that idea! I needed gas to day because I’m testing the 2-52x50 NV400 on the Komplete. I think it’s a perfect combination. Part of my interest regarding availability has to do with travel. Now I’m more confident that if I fly to another state I can bring the Komplete along & but gas when I land. I used to travel with my 2300T that way because airlines don’t like pressurized containers. 🤷🏻♂️
@AlsAirguns I no what you mean. I use to go to LAX airport quite a bit there very picky on what can and can't be taken on. With hpa/tanks you can also travel with it as long as it's empty . You would have to find a welding supply shop to refill or if you have and bring a hpa compressor you can fill it up after you arrive. Some times though they my also have you unscrew the valve from the tank for there own insurance.😉🫡💯 p.s. iv always wanted to go to Florida with the airgun . There tons of invasive species that are destroying the environment and other local wild life. I also heard most of it doesn't taste to bad either. I also want to say its one of the only state that allow shark fish. 🤤😊
Also I think the Umarex version of the Javelin equipped for fishing looks like fun.
@AlsAirguns that would definitely be something I could see wanting to try out . I definitely could see my self in Salmon session in Alaska keni river with a airbow sounds like a blast to me.💯👍💪👌
that is awesome Al! do you know what gun you plan to try it on first? thats the exact same one I have. Its been a lot of fun!
At the moment I’m thinking I’ll put it on my Komplete. Our weather is in the 30s lately and I’ve wanted to see how it performs in cold weather & it has a pic rail.
But can you hit the fly on the wall with it ? 😂
No need, that’s what my Bug-A-Salt is for. 🤷🏻♂️🤗
Looking forward to your rundown on this. I have the nv400 on my shortlist of desires.
Fantastic, so far I’m impressed enough to really want to do a detailed deep dive on it. If it’s on your list you’re probably aware that it’s a serious device with an impressive list of features. I’ll be getting more out on it soon.
What kind of velocity is it Al ? Thanks 🙏
From 288 fps with an 8.2 fr to 445 fps with 5.6 gr Fast Flight pellet.
Nice video! Let me know if you’d like to review our targets with those or similar
Thanks. And yes I would love to try your targets. Please contact me via alsairguns@gmail.com to arrange. Thanks again, Al…

No
After loooooooong thinking and contemplating I opted for Remington 1875 those other two have notoriously bad triggers, nothing wrong with the guns but 1875 is perfect, pellets only I am simple guy but joy loading is priceless soooo good luck felas
I think you made a really cool choice. Please let us know how it goes. 👍🏻
Hay al I was thinking the stock would be the difficult part to figure out and mount. I actually came up with a simple modification to be able to add a stock to the mark point. It was actually quite easy onec I had it apart but I'm having a definitely and ran in to a road block with it Im having a real difficult time trying to figure out how it could be possible to mount a pic rail mount for the use of a optic. There isn't any room available or a way to be able to mount it to any thing at all. This is the first time thinking to my self I wish I could 3 print a pic rail. The only possible thing I can think of is the back sight peace in red removable if that part can be duplicate as part of the pic rail for the front part it would need to have a 2 part mounting clap. 🧐🤔💡💯🫡✌️🥵🤕
Definitely sounds challenging. I wonder if any of Buck-Rail’s mounts for other Airguns could be pressed into service.
@AlsAirguns that would be nice. I still have it apart . There absolutely no room Amy were to be able to mount any thing at all every thing to thin all the internals take up everything . The only way I see a mount ever fitting is if it 3d print or literally epoxy it to the top but then you will no longer be able to get it apart ever again.🤕💯🫡✌️ Definitely a ruff one for mounting any type of sights.💯😅
Wow! I recently got an amazon sourced 2240 and when I opened the box my heart sunk when “MADE IN CHINA” appeared on the side of the gun. I’ve had it for almost a month now and while comparing it to my 3 month old 1322 American made pistol also purchased at Amazon, a few things became clear. The Chinese pistol has a superior surface finish. The labeling is laser etched on the Chinese pistol thus the imprinting is not visible on the inside of the valve tube as is most surely apparent inside of my 1322 pump body which distorts an otherwise finely honed pump bore by using roller engraving. The grips on the Chinese 2240 are like the grips of a toy gun as are the grips on my 1322. I’m tired of listing things here so I will say this. I am now way more fond of my Chinese gun and somewhat disappointed in my American made gun. Beyond that I have kit-bashed the 2240 now and shoot it every day! Not so for that naughty 1322.
Yes, I’ve definitely seen product improvements in some of the Chinese production on items like the 2240. I suspect there are some late production US made gear that was less than spectacular. These might be labeled transition era products and this could be all over the place in my opinion.
Is this adapter can be use with brno rifle's 16mm dovetail to 22 mm
Sound like your guns rail is too wise to work with these.
Sorry I missed this , I had to be in Las Cruces New Mexico
No worries. Would love to have you next time. Hope your travels were great. Take care.

@AlsAirguns thanks for your kind words sir much appreciated. Glad to help at anytime. I also have a idea about something that could make a great live stream in my opinion. That I'll message you about if you would be interested in doing. As far as I no there hasn't been any one to do what I have a Idea of. I'm sure I could be a hit in airguning live stream. I'll message you soon 💯😉🤔👍🫡
Sent you an email. Talk soon, Al.
RP Pump Valve is a great option over a flat top setup
Where do you get that.
@AlsAirguns Ebay Alchemy Airworks get the power kit
I have that on my jet 2, awesome upgrade!
Sweet, glad to hear it!
Iv seen the 2240 About 6 years ago modified with a multi shot breech and pump action arm it's basically the same concept. I have also seen the 2240 with a lever action style wich is also pertty awesome. Most of my personal builds Crossman have multi shot side lever breeches along with my prod . If they even make the Crossman prospect breech available it will work on several different models as a great stock factory modification . Sweet pump action Al . Converting it to a hpa bottle gun with a pump action would make it a blast to use. 💯🫡😉✌️
Looks like I’m playing catch up here. Those builds sound awesome. I can’t wait to give it a try on the Jet 1. I’m pretty handy with a pump shotgun but that’s the limit of my experience with slide actions.
It’s thinking in more about the pump action Crosman you mentioned. That would be really sweet. 2240, 2250, 2260 lengths potentially HPA/PCP. Of course you’d need a grav-mag of something for ammo.
Very nice, and continued thanks to buck-rail for their awesomeness.
Those guys have been great about supporting us. I’m really stoked about trying it out.
I have that gun and I really do like it
I’m glad to hear it. I really like mine too. Another viewer who enjoys theirs says it’s getting a lot of hate from some people and was asking if I knew why. 🤷🏻♂️ My only guess would be color scheme or not being made of metal but I really don’t know.
My new gun arrived from Crosman. They wanted a receipt and a picture of the pistol. They were very nice about the whole thing. I don't (yet) have the skills to diagnose the problem, so... I ordered a new valve from thE Bay and that fixed the problem.
I suspect they will offer refund or replacement. Yes your new valve should leave the pistol 100% good to go. As far as my pistol (and I suspect yours as well, the problem was diagnosed as a defective component inside the valve commonly referred to as the poppet. This piece is under spring pressure and keeps co2 from exiting the valve until it’s shaft is struck by the hammer causing it to lift up allowing gas to escape through the valves transfer pot and into the barrel where it propels the pellet forward. After an interval of time, referred to as dwell time, the spring inside the valve forces it into its closed position again. At the same time this allows a fresh charge of gas into the valve in preparation for the next shot. I’m glad you’re up & running. Happy and safe shooting.
@@AlsAirguns Thanks. Now that I have two, I can scurry down the modding rabbit hole.
Wow , another big difference. Thanks Al. 👍
Thanks. Much appreciated.
I just hate that gun but works trigger is horrible OK esse Iam not talking from my ass
Wow , that’s a big difference 👍
Yes it is. 👍🏻
I will try to be there Al on BF , my state is non licensed conceal or open they way the world should be imo , the s400 was a dream back in the day , but there are cheaper better guns out imo , you have a blessed afternoon Al
Thanks and I appreciate you making the effort. Take care.
BTW, I agree as far as concealed & open carry. My concern is in areas with more draconian legislation, they currently perceive airguns as generally BB guns and pellet rifles like the Daisy 880 or Crosman 362. Show them a small airgun that looks like a dreaded tactical pistol or small like a Saturday night special, or sawed off shotgun Umarex and that double barrel pcp cartridge gun that utilizes burst discs and touts it’s self as a concealable shot gun pistol perfect for self defense. My fear is the possible creation of badly conceived statues being imposed on air guns similar to what’s been seen in Canada and the UK as examples.
@@AlsAirguns Imagine having to live in New Jersey , as I have dealt with this actual scenario, anything will be considered a weapon if used as such, even a feather could be construed as a tool of torture, the courts are crazy. I tend to be a rebel rouser Al and know exactly what you mean but if you watch a lot of those buy back videos of the cops buying guns back you always see a Daisy880 and a China redwood breakbarrel in the barrel of so called buybacks , The moment we stopped enforcing the importance of what actual words mean is when we lost the war on keeping the actual 2@ the way it was intended but we might have a chance to get back that right again. But we gotta fight fight fight for that right so it will never be infringed on again. FULL AUTOS FOR ALL 😂 be positive Al things might change.
You’re right. I shall keep the faith.
I didn’t even know such airguns existed ❤
Interesting results, thanks Al for another fine review 👍
Thanks 😊 Much appreciated
That’s really cool Al , thanks 👍
No problem 👍
Not bad at all, turned out better than thought it would.
Like I was saying I think these have so decent engineering behind them. Plus they are really slippery. I think the low friction material probably helps as well. Loaded in something like the QB78 they might be up to very small pests too.
@@AlsAirguns did you get any chronos of the qb with them?
I did not but the next time I have the chronograph set up I’ll test. I really expect 100fps increase. But I’ll confirm.
Would be interested to see the accuracy results when you do that test. For this test, is the destroyers the lightest 177 lead pellet you have? I know rws has a 6.9gr pellet and im curious if the 20% claim still holds up with closer weight, although I suspect so. Also, rws hypermax claims 30% increase compared to standard lead pellet and cost about 5 cents/round verses 9 cents/round of the Crosman. Makes me curious how they actually compare. But now im just late night rambling on your video. 🤔 ~Papa T
I really wish I had both the Hypermax and the Meisterkugeln wadcutters (Hobby I think?) The 7gr ones. I’ve sort of resupplied a bit on .22 ca. recently but have shot up most of my .177 on hand inventory. I’ve got a list of things I need from Pyramid Air so I’ll put these on the list as well. Thanks for the suggestion. 👍🏻
So theyre perfect for icepicking pests
I suspect that they would be. I’ll do some accuracy testing and publish the results. I’d had some of these a long time back and remember them shooting well. Lately I’ve only seen this design in heavier weights which is why I grabbed these when I saw them.
My recent 2240xl says 'made in china' right on the rear of the tube...
I had heard that would be the case but yours is the first confirmation. Please let us know how it works for you. Thanks.
A real machine there, love mine!👍
Me Too. Thanks for letting me know.
Apparently people don’t like this gun,I don’t know what is the beef,if you don’t like it OK choose something else and yes I HATE that heavy 😢trigger but I like the gun .Do you think I use expensive pellets 😂😂😂 just Daisy flat nose😂 I am not practicing for Olympics then I used Crosman pointed,,,,holy what a difference,if my hand was ok bullseye rabbit is gone…$40 dollars Chinese rifle, what is wrong with it? Absolutely nothing except you might drift front post and clean barrel it’s really dirty but after clean up is super accurate, rabbit no problem ….Anyway I wish you the best stay safe ❤
You’re correct in your observations. I could only speculate as to why some people bear it ill will. I think it gets compared frequently to the Ruger MK IV pellet pistol. And I think Americans have a soft spot for Rugers firearm version and because of the very close looks transfer those feeling to the pellet pistol version. However based solely on performance the Markpoint is a superior pellet pistol. I think some people who again have not tried it think it can’t be very good for its $36 price point. I actually had a viewer correct me in the comments at the end of my series and after my referring people in the comments to videos os a complete disassembly and trigger modifications. This person (I suspect an adolescent sitting high upon their thinking stool) informs me that obviously we are incorrect because in their opinion, the pistol is too cheap to be a gas spring. It’s funny the preconceptions and prejudice that some folks bring to simple issues. Certainly there are portions of ant topic that can be debated but there are also other portions that can be confirmed by direct examination and measurement. It’s really important to understand the difference if one wants to be taken seriously. When I worked at a major University lab, my favorite response was (and remains.) I don’t know, let’s find out.
More expensive than 22 LR rounds 🤭
Yes, they’re not as cheap as regular ones.
@ I like the Ruger u got that thing looks sweet
The Mark IV Pistol is the one you like? That airgun has been extremely popular this year and sells for around $50.
Ive shot these out of a Crosman American Classic, aswell as the same Mark IV you have and they perform pretty damn good. Ive also shot em out of a Crosman DPMS Classic A4 Nitro but that rifle didnt like em in my case. I think they are too light for this. But for the pistols they are damn fun :) Also pretty cool to shoot em into something "jelly" ish and then see the projectile disengaging from the orange casing.
Thanks for the information. I always suspected that the two pieces would separate in many targets. Thanks again for sharing your experience. 👍🏻
@AlsAirguns i have that gun and I love it.i camo mine
Awesome! Very good to know. Much appreciated.
