Thank you so much for giving us the video views of these two love birds . They are so wonderful to watch and the beautiful scenery they live in is so breathtaking. Thank you so much for all the documentaries and videos of Shadow and Jackie nesting , flying through the air , echoing , mating on the roost tree , and the panoramic views of the area where they live and some of the panoramic views the eagles are flying and calling each other . All of this is so awesome . All of everyone that is responsible for all of this taking place is absolutely incredible . Thanks to the person making the documentaries , the person that installs video cameras , the company that takes the panoramic videos , and the park rangers that take care of the National Park and everyone else that has any part in these documentaries of Shadow and Jackie is so wonderful and awesome .
Please keep the camera rolling! Every day I love to see what Jackie and Shadow do. I love their housekeeping skills. Thanks to your organization for teaching us about these beautiful birds.
@MillieCassara-jt4fn I understand that you want the camera owners Friends of Big Bear Valley to keep the camera rolling. The camera is on all the time. You will be able to see both views from Camera 1 & 2 live all year round.
Ha ha, just waiting for Friends of Big Bear Valley to provide J & S with fleece hooded pullover parkas (with wing slits instead of arms) with FOBBV + each ones name embroidered on the front! Hmm, they'd look good in red or gold parkas! 😜😘😏
I don't think Jackie liked having those Jays visit the nest . The pine cone was a curious little buried treasure. Is that the Roost Tree that Shadow would stay in while Jackie was overnighting on the eggs ? Fiona is adorable, I think she is fascinated by the way Shadow and Jackie have built up that nest- maybe she was curious if it comes with a basement suite.
@tintadawn2756 You are right. They do not like jay visits. Eagles like to spend the night in the Roost Tree. Shadow usually sleeps there too. There are also some other trees nearby where they sometimes spend the night. Fiona is adorable. I couldn't agree more. Thank you very much for your comment! ❤️❤️🦅🦅😍
Eagles are most populous in Alaska, which we all know is FAR colder than the mountains of California. They chose to nest here and flourish in this environment. Nov-Mar is when she is fertile, with eggs generally being laid in January…
Would bald eagles in captivity at around 40yrs old still have the instinct to rebirth break off beak, talons, and remove feathers? I've been studying 😂
@RWald8888- I , too have read about that but I thought it was a bit older so that the talons etc would grow back .. I don’t know much at all. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will respond. Have a nice evening!

Love the pine cone decoration. 👌🏻
I think they think it’s their baby in disguise ❤️❤️❤️
@@sherrysaunders3758 You may be right. They don’t move it about like the twigs. 😀
@@sherrysaunders3758 For a second there I thought Shadow was going to sit on it like it was an egg!
Again they light up my day ❤❤❤❤

that speed up got me all confused :D
@schlicktown Sorry. Without the speed up we would have to watch the video for an hour. Nobody would watch. 😁
@@BirdlifeOdyssey i would :) but i agree :)
Would you look at that hello my feathered friend

Do eagles usually keep coming back to nest so often even if there are no eggs?
@judycahill8067 They did it last year and they tend to visit the nest from time to time.
This is a rare treat for us to see them as often, but as BirdlifeOdyssey said they have come back occasionally to tidy up.
I am watchin a video but wonder what SDS means
@ELItheEAGLE1 SDS stands for Sticks Depot Snag ❤️🥢

When will Jackie lay some more eggs...the weather better now, think the others got too cold.
@dorissnyder-yk2un According to experts, Jackie is not likely to lay any more eggs now as she is fertile only from January to March.

Google it. Nobody here has any sort of credentials to accurately tell you with any degree of certainty.
And btw, what an awful topic! Sad!
This is a learning channel what's wrong with asking questions?

@RWald8888- it’s the laughing face that makes it upsetting. Maybe you would kindly edit that. Thank you!
