Ah-ha! Few visitors before the owners get home! Lol. Oh!!! Our little ( big, rather) Buddies return! J.&S.! Anther day, another stick! Lol. Another stick, another house cleaning. Why Thank you my love, for helping straighten up! Says Jackie! 😘. Together, they keep a mighty fine home! 👍😁. I just love their little “ bunny hops” onto the branch they fly off from. Lol. Now that’s the sweetest! Shadow provides lunch, nibbles abit himself, then shared with Jackie! They both worked hard for that meal! Talk about “ teamwork “! 👌😀. Ha! Ha! It’s like they are getting any crumbs, leftovers, of that yummy fish, off their floor! Then it’s like, they take alittle time together in the roust tree , after filling up their belly’s! The more I watch these beauties, the more I feel like I can read their minds. Lol. 😂. Thank you for the entertainment for my day! This is just too fun! 👏👏.
@@BirdlifeOdyssey I had noticed it a couple of times. Shadow didn’t have the same thing, so I just wondered where the scratches may have come from. Maybe just for her beak care. I’m new to this! Thanks!
@margaretbuckner938 They were unviable and did not hatch. One egg broke and disappeared in the nest bowl. The second one was eaten by Jackie. The last one was hidden under fluff but two days ago a Steller's Jay broke its shell and Jackie came and ate this egg. There was no development in these eggs.
Why do the jay birds get in the nest and forage? Are there bits of fish in there? And what does Fiona do in there? I am Australian so am not familiar with your birds and animals.
@artistocracy Yes. The jays and Fiona clean the nest. Jays do it during the day and Fiona does it at night. There are some parts of fish probably and some parts of eggshells. Last time the Jay pecked at the last egg (the one hidden under fluff) and took a part of the eggshell. Fiona took some parts of the eggshells too.
I love Jackie & Shadow I wish this beautiful couple some very cute baby chicks soon 🙏🏿🙏🏿
