One gripe I have is that while you can set the Running workout to pause if you stop (thinking of traffic lights on the street or being stopped by a friend) this doesn't do this on Walking workouts.
WatchOS is in a big stagnation. They change things for the sake of change to make it look like there is some progress. In fact WatchOS is boring and looks outdated. Watchfaces are also boring and mostly ugly. I still have to see a person who uses "pride" watchface...
I'm still waiting for a quick toggle for always on display. They gave us volume toggle 😒. Also a full red, low light interface would be great not just the home screen. Thanks for the insight.
It looks like the Siri watch face, as well as a few other watch faces, has been discontinued as of the first watchOS 11 beta. Is there a chance that it’ll come back in future betas?
Hi! The battery usage on my Ultra 1 has SURGED after installing WatchOS 11 a couple weeks ago (I started with Beta 2 and now I’m using Beta 3). I could usually get a couple days on my Ultra (I don’t use at night) on WatchOS 10 but now on 11 I’m down to 15% battery or so remaining at the end of the day or so after starting the day with a full charge. Any ideas on what is going on to deplete the battery about two times as fast?
I would love for Apple Watch and the Fitness app to support physiotherapy/physical therapy exercises including home exercise plans. Apple has the opportunity here to work with the medical community to better support users recovering from an acute injury or surgery, as well as those with chronic illness and disabilities. The support for wheelchair use was a good start in this but there’s still more to be done. In particular, a lot of prescribed home exercise programs are spread through the day, so prompts for these would be great. Setting alarms on top of the medication reminders is currently very cumbersome. They touched on this feature but getting an alert mid-workout or just durring the day that you’re overdoing exerting yourself and should stop and rest or slow down would be a welcome feature as over exertion can slow down recovery or cause a chronic issue to flare-up.
Any of them will work well for swimming. Technically the Ultra models have stronger haptics so if you want to use those new haptic alerts for swimming laps then the Ultra, but I'm a fan of the aluminum and steel models.
@HolyCow-Gaming I would like it if the Siri watch face showed the current calendar event while you’re in it, instead of going straight to the next while.
Pausing streaks ???? :O Then how is it still a streak? Heyy, I worked out 100 days in a row. Except .. when I paused it every 3 days to just eat cake.... It's like giving a medal for participation . Missing features: yes. Apple watch still doesn't have a proper rep count. On Garmin I can jump between sets, do the reps, adjust them, even add the weight I was working with. Not deadly, but kind of annoying that this is missing from a pricey watch (Ultra) ... It also still lacks proper communication with ANT devices, thus all Shimano Ebikes. I also ride both e-bikes and normal mountain bikes, and I think there is no distinction, so literally if I take the ebike I am wearing a Garmin on my right wrist, just that it has the exact battery percentage, and that it doesn't mix up my strava times with my normal bikes (which is a big no-no to log your e-bike times with normal bikes, people get very-very pissed about that, including me )

Pausing the streaks is stupid because if you can pause it…it’s not a streak
What if you got sick or something
@@demirelnesis showing what is the reality… what is the issue
To Pause a streak defeats the whole purpose of a streak…
I could see being able to pause for 1 day, but more that that is nuts
@@JohnnyGarton yeah maybe 1 would be okay. If you feeling sick or whatever.
I’m super disappointed. Because Apple Watches SE first generation not getting the upgrade
Is worrying about loosing streaks seriously a thing?
What’s that rowing exercise but while standing? lol I forgot 😊
Rucking is missing do you know if they're adding it in the latest watch OS 11?
How do we track overnight? No battery
GARDENING! Talk about a workout!
The mostly needed feature is Blood Pressure BP monitoring...
Is there a workout for rucking?

You can pause during a walking workout. I do it often.
@@fionalindberg It doesn't pause automatically during walking whereas it does during a running workout.
This is a big gripe of mine too.
WatchOS is definitely getting so much better year on year.
I think this is a big update. I really like it

My favorite is to be able to change the alert sounds…. Thank god
my watch has been in silent mode for two years - since the first day. And continue will be.
Padel is missing. Although I'm not sure whether it's so different from the tennis workout.
What happened to the control center when u swipe up??

You can turn on color filter for red.
Rucking would be nice. I use the hiking option but rucking is carrying a heavy load.

Is there a Yard Workout Activity? I use the Outdoor Walking Activity when I am mowing, trimming, edging or using the blower.
Still waiting for the Notes application to show up in watchOS

It's a beta... First time?
Which languages are supported for the QWERTY keyboard?
They need to add the popular Echo Bike with different intervals.
Adding a work out for a street strider or eliptiGo bike. These are hard workouts and there is no good substitute to use on the workouts provided
Outdoor cycle needs to be disciple specific. MTB, Road, Commute, Gravel etc. Same as other platforms.
What about Rucking?
How the heck is the vitals app going to work on Apple Watches sold after Jan 18 or the second SE?
I can understand streaks pause useful but “check-in”, why?
watchOS 11 will have further customization, and even watch faces of photos
I use cycling for scooter rides on my watch.

What’s CheckIn ?
Rebounding
The new Watch faces are awesome. The iOS customisation option though…yuck
I pause my rings while the thing takes forever charging... Series 7. 🙃
What Apple Watch model do you recommend for swimming?

@@AppleInsider OK thank you!
I've managed 60 years without needing a watch for swimming. Surely all that weight on one wrist would make you swim round in circles.
Nordic walking is not listed (outdoor walk is not the same :-) )
Cross Country Skiing. Think NordicTrack!
Longboarding. They need to support longboarding.
It would be nice to use the “cards” as a complication. And even better, have the “Smart Stack” as a watch face.
you have the siri watch face, that is a pretty nice one

This is great. I didn’t know about a lot of these features.
Glad I could help!
cool
Very little of any importance to me
Apple Watches are way too bulky. Wake me up when they get to a few millimeters thickness.
Yet Apple's smartwatch is the best selling
Ever worn a watch before? 😂
Are you sure you have seen apple watch
what watch does bro wear
Sweet dreams 💤
I am the ONLY person I guess who finds all these features a BORING :( Not trolling at all - honest.
