Had same idea for my second build. Cheap as possible without compromising quality. Ordered the 36ah Amorge ($800 because I upgraded the charger to 10a) and a trumoto noisy cricket controller ($611 shipped). Total 72v upgrade was $1400 USD compared to my ebmx setup that I paid just under $4000 for.
Dude that's insane! It's going to be good for the modding community - it will force the prices of the top tier products down when they see we are achieving the same thing for less then half the price
@@Jose.Ambroise from Amorge when I ordered the battery. They charged me an extra $15 for the 10a charger. Battery was $642, charger was $15, sea shipping (took 56 days) was $100 and tax was $40.
A couple questions: chi battery recommends a qs8 or qs10 power cable to swap out for the stock to better hold the 72v power without overheating the wires. Did you do this? Also, what was the reason for getting new breaker?
Additionally, I have the 2024 model with the new battery cable, amorge batteries aren’t compatible with this so would you recommend I swap power cables?
Is there any aftermarket display or maybe eggrider you can connect to battery to see the charge %? I notice amorge doesn’t have a screen like many others, how can you know the battery level? From the controller?
Considering the reviews, research, and amorge battery tear down content iv watched there is almost zero percent chance of it exploding when charging it if your using the battery to manufacturers specifications

How do you like the trumoto? How’s the app? I’m looking at either the tc500 or trumoto, how does the phase amps compare between the two?
