If you’re in California, definitely get the kaniwaba pedal kit, keep it below 30 mph, and you are legally now a class 3 e-bike :-) that way the law is on your side and you never have to worry about Street, bike paths, bike lanes, etc. (unless posted on a bike path sign). Also if you’re looking at upgraded tires, I highly recommend the Shinko 241 17inch all terrain. Amazing tires and look incredible 👍 also also, if your back hurts, consider getting a higher handlebar like the 3 or 6 inch pro taper or dirty bars. It will help you sit up right which is amazingly comfortable for your back, especially while you’re searching for a more comfy seat of your choice. HOPE THIS HELPS!
Thanks buddy! Hope you liked it. I appreciate the compliment. Honestly, I waited 2 years until buying because it’s so expensive but I wish I got it earlier. So fun and useful
Want a bit more torque and power ? Snip that green wire at your battery plug. Make sure to switch it off first... Honestly I was very iffy about doing it but wow it made a difference.
Hello, I own the same bike and I totally love it too. Could you please post the link for the pegs ? I know there a lot of pegs on amazon, but if they fit perfectly, I'd like to buy the same.
They generally don’t look at it. You can become legal with state requirements like plates and turn signals. I don’t recommend tho, it’s not a full motorcycle.
Here’s something I’ve posted before… hope this helps🙌 - FOR CALIFORNIA RIDERS: in LA/OC if you get the pedal kit and keep it under 30mph it is legally a class 3 e-bike and now can have the befits of both on/off road, bike paths, etc. (depending on the trail/path keep an eye out for signs specifically about motorized vehicles, most times class 2 is the only acceptable ebike which means keep it below 20 mph). Everyone has a different opinion and stance, as well as everyone’s location carries different weight. So no one is wrong truly, but I understand the fear of “the more we put our bikes on government paper, the more the government will push towards making it a standard.” Let’s just keep it civil and love one another on/off road.❤️ however I definitely am IN FAVOR of keeping things in the gray area here in California. To each his own though. All good👌
Laws are meant for Not Only Your Safety BUT “Others”…please think about following the rules…if you don’t understand why a law is written the way it is, research/ask others..you will find out most laws are for the organization of society and safety for ALL. I love your SurRon..I have the same bike. I love mine too! 👍😊

Love to see people not worrying about the semantics of laws and just using the bike as it was intended. Way to get the most out of it
Agree. Just don't ride like a jerk and you will have no problems!

Is the bike really worth the price? I previously had a Motoped Pro so I've been wanting one of these for some months now.
@@vennomrides107 worth every cent man. Highly recommend !

Seems like you live in Phoenix. Are you worried about the heat here coming soon on the batteries? I'm in Scottsdale. Awesome video by the way!
SoCal! Batteries are rated for handling the heat no problem. Thank you
The back thing us due to the small size and low bars. Get a raised bars and it'll be a lot more comfortable.
Awesome! I’ll definitely look into it, thanks for pointing that out
I’m getting mine for Philly because i don’t want a car
Is it street legal? Will the cops REALLY bother me?
