Deleting Blank Pages in Microsoft Word - Get Rid of Pesky Page Breaks

Sometimes I don't even know how I got a page break in my document. Maybe I copied in content that someone else provided or used a template. But none the less I end up with a page break that just won't go away. Here is how you can get rid of it, hope it helps.

Hi.It helps a lot.Thank you.I slept late last night cause I don't know how to erase the extra blank sheet in my word...I did used a lot of hours just to do it but didn't managed.Thankfully I crossed with your video in youtube.12 years ago this is not a problem in old microsoft word versions.just delete the extra page and volla it is easily done..😊

Does this work for headers and footers also? It may sound silly but I alway try and hit”remove header” but it still pops up .

Hi Stacey, the only way I know to edit the header is to go to edit header (right click edit header or on the insert tab). From there I can either click remove header or go the to the page and actually delete what is in there. If you are using Word for your job, the only thing I can think of is that your company has mandatory header or footer markings that the admin put in place. I know a lot of companies do this to help protect their intellectual property.
