HOW TO delete extra page in Word document (5 quick fixes)

- Learn 5 different fixes to delete a blank page or extra page in your Word document including removing an unwanted blank last page (see time stamps below).
Some fixes are straight forward. Others a bit more challenging.

I have one more fix to add to the list, found after additional googling on the topic. If your document ends w/ a table, Word will add an extra paragraph after the table, sometimes spilling onto the next page. In this case, reduce the font of the extra paragraph to something miniscule. Did the trick for me!

I have been searching for hours as to how to remove a blank page. This video is the only one that could assist me. all I had to do is press the ENTER key many times and reach the blank page just so I could press the BACKSPACE key till I reach the page with content. so #FIX 1 helped a lot. thank you.

Thanks so much, I watched four other videos and nobody could help me delete an extra blank page, but I had changed one of my pages to landscape mode and when I went to the second page which wouldn’t delete it was blank and in portrait mode, I changed it to the same mode and I was able to delete the page no problem. Thank you so much your videos it's really helpful and I share with my friends as well I have 1 query regards to many mails with attachments as part of daily reports I only want the report is roll out but I don't want any attachments goes with it only to certain employees the attachments should go but not all of them is there anything we can get rid of this. because of this my storage get full and it start getting hang
Thank you! I'm so glad you find them helpful 😊. Gosh, that is hard if you are being emailed everything. You could ask the Sender to send a link only and store the file somewhere where you have access and can get to it easily (e.g. OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Drive, DropBox). You could also try saving the attachments to an external drive and then deleting the message. Sorry I don't have a quick and easy solution. If anyone else reading this has a good solution please share!

I enjoyed your video and I'm having a similar problem with a rogue space when I start a new paragraph. It just started happening. I have the show character on and it has a square before the paragraph character. But when I go into the Line and Page Breaks tab it shows nothing selected. I have 0 space selected between paragraphs. I have deleted the page completely and started it over, but it keeps reoccurring. I'm at a loss as to what to try next.

Oh isn't that annoying Michel! What you will need to do is open Headers and Footers, go to the Header or Footer you want to keep and then copy these into the following section BEFORE you delete the section break or extra para on the last page. I hope this helps :-)
