Just click on View option, Select Navigation Pane under show ribbon, make sure the cursor is on page you want to delete, and just Hit ctrl + backspace. Your page will be deleted.

Thank you, I used the last method, the method using the navigation pane and the back space key. At first it did not work for me. I kept trying and it worked. I can't explain why but am glad I was able to delete the blank pages which for some odd reason showed up my Word document.
I feel like this should be easier.

I tried all the steps but it didn't work. Then using the help option I found that if you reduce the margin size the blank page will be gone. Try it

You can simply click on "Page 1 of 2" suppose in bottom left side, then select the blank page and press Delete key on keyboard.
