    14:47 Most common mistake is to ignore a comma. "Attach the radiator and the fans as shown. For the best cooling performance, we recommend mounting the fans as an air-intake to your PC case." The fans on the radiator must be attached "AS SHOWN" which are exhausting air through radiator fins in the top of the case, the intake fans are the front I/O panel fans because recommended position of the AIO radiator is in top of the case. I had my 115i PRO as intake in front I/O panel for 2 years and my GPU stayed at 84° C, after 2 years I had mounted the radiator in top of same pc case and my GPU's temperature had lowered to 76° C. Nice build BTW.

    I bought this case, and my notes: 1). HDDs aren’t much of a thing anymore for home PCs, so removing that cage is a must if you don’t need it. One of the thumb screws was tough to get out. 2) easiest cable management of any case I’ve worked in. The back is nice and deep so you don’t even HAVE to manage well, the channel is quite roomy, and the holes are well located. You can get the CPU power through with the motherboard in, which you can’t fit in all of them. 3) I agree that the 2 installed fans is really odd. If you are buying a “high airflow” case, you are going to be buying fans anyway.......
    But all in all, I love this case

    • @Blade_of_Tomoe
      @Blade_of_Tomoe 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would do that but 140mm fans cost ~8€ each in the best case scenario around here and that kinda adds to a 600€ budget build. I could have bought a 60€ case with worse airflow but I would need to buy fans to make up for it, bringing the total price closer to the 4000D price or exceeding it. Besides, the parts I have picked don't generate much heat so it's fine. If I'm sad about something, it's that they aren't 140s!

    I bought mine along with two ML140 and a ML120, worried that the supplied fans might be great and I'd have spend a lot of money that could have gone to other components. When it arrived I was immediately relieved that I had made the right decision when I saw that they had 3-pin fans.

    The Commander Core and XT fits nicely on the back of, extra purchase of the (motherboard tray accessory) that would keep all the fan wires tidy at the top of the case behind the CPU.
    The new Corsair PSU side shift side mounted modular plugs on the side creates space between the PSU and hard drive cage.
    I going with the new i5 13600K(F) which is twice as fast then the 12th gen and backwards compatible with some Z790 boards, a cheap upgrade path with a Bios update.

    The solution to the problem with the hdd bay is to get a "low profile ratcheting bit driver." They are worth their weight in gold and com in real handy when companies hang a part in the air and then build the rest of the [*insert badly designed product name here*] around it.

    Love this case. I am debating on using a rotary blade tool to cut a large cutout on the bottom front of the case to allow the AIO tubes to fit down there. It would help with a allowing a push pull fan on the bottom too. Of course the parts I cut would likely need some rubber trim too but that would still make it look clean.

    Thanks for making this video 2 years ago, but it's still relevant today as I've been looking at this case for a new build. It's good to see all the issues you ran into so I can adjust my parts list. I do have some questions. Do you think a Noctua NH-D15S black would fit in there or would it be too tall for the windowed cover to be put back on? And if you do decide to use the HDD cage, can you move it over toward the front of the case to give more room for your cables?

  •  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Hmm, I know this might sound counter-productive but! If I was to cut a part of that bottom shroud, that blocked the tubing if the 360 is mounted tubes down, would there be enough tube length to get up to the CPU? Including the lengthy 3080 GPU.

    2 included fans is ample for most builds, have 1 at the rear and 1 at the top for exhaust, and have your AIO radiator at the front pulling air in.

    Going with a budget build with an upgrade path. Going to initially go with a Ryzen 5 7600 or 7600x if I catch it cheaper than the 7600 again, and a PowerCooler Fighter RX 6600. I ultimately, once I can get the money saved up will upgrade the CPU and GPU to the Ryzen 7 7800x3D and Sapphire Tech Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX. The Ryzen 5 and RX 6600 will become backups.
