I have degenerative disc disease in my lower back and fibromyalgia and am constantly having to sit down (gravity is my nemesis). PS. Your comment has been so helpful to me. I'm currently being tested for everything including "C" and "MS". But no GP (MD) can explain the pins and needles in my hands and feet and all my other strange issues including "brain fog". @@MaxandOccy Loved ALL your music, it was so spot on. Loved everything else in the entire video. I feel like I was hanging out there, nice getaway, thanks
As a young kid, my siblings and I spent hours clearing out the creek and creating pond areas where the water could collect and get deeper... THOSE were the days!! :) Great video!
Mowing suggestion: weed whack the tall stuff first, and then go over it with the mower and it mulches it all in. Looks like the handle on that measuring device is designed to expand...it has a joint on it...give it a pull and see what happens!
Weed wacker protip - do the weed work before mowing, that way the clippings get chopped up and leave you with nice looking edges everywhere with no clippings in sight.

Did anyone else piss themselves laughing when Max brought out the lawn mower and the song starts "Don't mind me I'm feeling myself" ?? Nothing can get between this man and the love he has for his lawn/lawn mower
I've been watching for a few years now and just have to commend you, Max. You are - and continue to become - a beautiful human. Thanks for being you and bringing us along for the journey.
I feel such joy when I see your property from the drone, it triggers happiness and peace in the natural world. I love the mowing and the organising to make the place look and also feel so comfortable for yourself and Occy as well as any visitors. You’re doing so well Max and it’s clear that your hard internal work has translated into your external life. I’m so proud of you ❤❤
Can I make a suggestion …. That big pile of palms and trees and brush you have getting bigger … that is heaven to snakes …a nice snake home to move into. How about buying a chipper and grinding those up to use as mulch around the property to help as ground cover to stop weeds and you can even use to build a path to the creek …just a thought …I have dogs (long hair dachshunds) that love to hunt critters with no fear and I need to manage the property to minimize snakes in southern US as much as possible to protect the girls
Good suggestion.. my brother has a dachshund in qld that is a ferocious hunter of small critters too. He got a big property and I always worry about snakes bites for the dog
WOW! Max...not sure what is more impressive...all the amazing work you've done or your courage to continue to go barefoot with all those creepy crawlers around! Your property looks wonderful and all the hard work has paid off. I would think a regular garden clean up would be on the to-do list for sure. Great to see you and Occy livin' da life!
I'm from a sub tropical area in Louisiana. We have snakes, spiders and lots of wildlife. Australia has always fascinated me b/c the animals and plants are so different. Love your videos!
I’m not sure if clover is native to your area, but if it is, I HIGHLY recommend seeding with clover! It only grows a couple of inches high so you hardly have to mow it, it’s great for pollinators and it’s so soft to walk on!
You look so much more relaxed after your dip in the amazing creek. Your property is absolutely amazing. Much love to you and Occy from my family in the USA.
I am still cleaning up after the 1 in 100 years flood in Far North Qld. But my moods are getting better when I watch your positive and "can do" attitude videos. It feels like the videos are my personal "Better Help" sessions. Thank you so much for sharing your paradise.
😅 Do you have mosquitoes? Why am I not seeing lots of screen doors including in van? 🐍 You are brave to walk around barefoot after showing us the snake. Occy too! 🐾
TOTALLY mozzies are around all year round 😂😂🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟 in Australia, So Planting a great garden to REPELL them using LAVENDER, CITRONELLA, LEMON BALM, LEMON TYME, ROSEMARY, BASIL, CATNIP, - for Flower lovers MARIGOLDS, Great to grow in pots around any outdoor lounging or eating areas, with of course the bonus they are great four our cooking. ❤🙏🏻❤️👍🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Wow I was wowed when you walked into your home with csmer running. Tears wetted my eyes because I care for the people I follow. Like You Eamon and and Bec. Thanks for the Frankie Lee picture. Many people appreciate you. Love
Beautiful home and property! It is all looking so wonderful! Yes, getting control of the vegetation should be a top priority in that climate! The vegetation can get out of control so fast! Keeping the vegetation away from the house and living areas will keep pests and wildlife surprises away. Have you started a compost to recycle your garden waste? The resulting product is gardening gold for your ornamental flowers and vegetable garden! As for poisonous snakes, my sister and her husband live in an area that seem to get lots of rattlesnales. When they encounter one too close to the house, they kill it to make sure that it doesn't come back. They took their dog to a snake aversion class to teach him not to go after snakes. Years ago, one of their dogs had got bitten when he was investigating things under some brush. Nowadays, they have a rattlesnake vaccine, but back then, they didn't. They had to rush their dog to the vet a half hour away. Vector born infections should be considered when walking barefooted or just out in your environment, especially from mosquitoes. Ross River virus, Barmah Forest virus, and dengue three common mosquito-borne diseases in Australia that are hosted by native macropods such as your pademelons (so cute). There is also melioidosis, caused by a bacterium living in the soil that comes to the surface during heavy rainfall. It can be an infection just on the skin, it can be pneumonia or it can be anywhere in the body, and it can be fatal! Take care! Walking bearfoot feels good, but in those areas with down palm fronds, spiky plants or rocks, wear shoes. Scrapes or punctures and introduce pathogens into the body. There are shoes, sandals like Keens, that are made for walking in watery, slippery areas Use screening, repellant, and keep that fast growing vegetation down! Enjoy that paradise, but just take a few precautions to add to your regular routine!
Beautiful. I just cant get over you going barefoot in the rainforest! So scary 😨 And then I remembered as a kid in northwest Florida, I used to barefoot parkour (before parkour was a thing) from the house down the trail to the dock which was on our alligator and Water Moccasin (a very poisonous, amphibious Floridian snake) ridden lake (where we swam! All the kids swam there). Running barefoot to the dock, as fast as I could was my most favorite thing EVER. It made my dad nervous although he believed in letting kids run wild. One day, he very seriously said to me that he wouldn't tell me to stop, but he said "think about the rattlers, copperheads, coral snakes, water moccasins and gators that might be on the trail. Do you really want to zoom down there like that?" I did! I kept doing it and never twisted an ankle nor stepped on a gator or snake. I never felt afraid. The powers that be were kind to me so that I could continue to do my favorite thing, until i moved to Colorado at age 14, which is not nearly as scary as Florida. I think rural Florida has a lot in common with the Australian rainforest as far as the intensity of the wildlife and the BUGS! We had wild boars and pumas in our woods. I used to catch and release small reptiles, bare-handed, all the time--including non-poisonuos snakes. I did not mind the smaller reptiles (wasnt a big fan of the gators), but the monstrous and plentiful bugs were what terrified me. Our favorite kitty did have a standoff with a rattle snake for about 15 mins. He stood statue still and that rattler was rattleing the whole time, until my dad fetched a neighbor who brought his shotgun over and shot the snake's head off. Kitty was safe❤. Kiddos annd kitties all got ro run free. Not sure how we all survived. We had skills and a lot of gumption I guess. Different times. Our lake ran into the Gulf of Mexico which was full of sharks and Man o wars. Decades later, that area is more built up now. Not so rural anymore. I'm glad you have your beautiful property where you can collaborate sensitively with the wild. Keep on truckin' barefoot, dude! Thanks for bringing back some awesome childhood memories this morning.
I ran into a woman in line at a restaurant that was wearing the "Here for Occy Hoodie." Of course we chatted for quite a bit about our favorite TH-camrs, Max & Occy. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona, Max!!
So happy for you and Occy that you put yourself under the pressure of fixing up the inside of the cabin before you went overseas. It's such a beautiful fresh and airy oasis. Occy truly is living his best life being able to retreat inside when he wants to. Have a great week!
What a gorgeous property you have Max. The trees are breath taking. I live on Vancouver Island.we have ever greens and mountains. Beautiful in a different way. ❤️🇨🇦
I'm a Canadian gardener, I have some dream flowers/plants that I wish I could plant here. They are native to Australia, one is bottlebrush and another is Golden Wattle (here, we call it mimosa). They are beautiful, attract pollinators and smell fantastic! Thanks for the videos :). I lost my Greyhound last week, she was a stellar pup - much like Occy - Virtual hugs and boops to Occy, handsome boy.
@@infin8ee Ahhh, that's too bad about the wattle, hay fever is no joke. Both plants don't survive winter here, so I did wonder if they were considered invasive there as well.
@@Samsona75 depending on the area where it's growing it can be considered invasive. They are really pretty and a cure for winter blues when they start to flower at the start of spring . I used to live in the National Park north of Sydney (Ku-ring-gai Chase) and they gave me the worst sinus headache I've ever had. I have grevillea and banksia planted and it brings the rainbow lorikeets which is great if noisy. It's hard to have a good garden when it's so hot. Even my tomatoes burnt this year
Have you thought about fencing a small area for Occy to go out at night? Fence that snakes can't get in. All the cleaning of brush, trees and weeds might have just disturbed them and as you keep it cleaned out they will most likely rehome. However, poisonous snakes are still worrisome. Love your videos, your beautiful land and your creek. Big hug to Occy.
@@ykook7000 I live in the USA where we have copperheads. Fenced in the bottom of our little dog's fenced area with chicken wire and in 6 years never had another snake inside there. Thought it might work for Max and Occy also.
God Bless you ,Brother Max & Occy. Its Wonderful to see all the Achievements on your Home Oasis in Australia.Omg ! Dont like those Snakes in the wild that eat up anything bigger than thier own size. The Padegon,s are So Cute, i truly hope there is some Babies. It was Great to see that the Stream had grown in Fresh Rain and Occy Loved ❤ it.All Blessings to you & Occy for Continued Success in Future projects.Amen ! 🙏💖🙏😇❤🤗🥰🐕🐶
Awning suggestion: could you let the tyres down a bit while the van is sitting stationary to give you a few cms of clearance for the awning? When you need to use it just pump them back up, should only take a few mins to do and it will save you having to go up to the roof every time you extend the awning.
To clear weeds in garden fast and easy cover with a black tarp and weigh down with rocks, leave sun to do the hard work in a week or two pull up easy evything will be dead easy to pull out. When planting wet cardboard a few inches thick will keep weeds away a natural mulch will eventually turn to compost in the soil🌼🌺
Max this is incredibly therapeutic just watching this, I am in London but grew up in Australia, spent a lot of time as a kid and teenager at Mt Kuringai, the Baisin, Bouddhi National Park all in NSW. Copacabana in NSW etc Your place reminds me of these places. I am becoming homesick, and will at some point return to Australia, your videos make me want to even more! It is great about the creek as well.
Although red bellied black snakes are venomous they aren’t terribly deadly, deaths from their bite are rare although you still need to go to the hospital and get the antivenin. Screen doors would be a great addition to your house so you can let fresh air circulate without any unwelcome visitors slithering in.
So glad you have an architect involved. I always get my clients to do a master plan so you can build in stages without ever building out the next project. Your block of land is stunning.
I am a 100% water baby!!! Loving your creek and little waterfalls! I live on a mountain overlooking a valley that is full of fruit and nut trees with a crystal clear stream that runs from pool to pool with little waterfalls...year round! So much to be grateful for! ALWAYS!!! ❤❤❤
Hi Max and Occy, So Good to C U Both, Your Home is Looking Amazing 💥🌻 U have A Paradise there, What an Awesome Blessing for U to share it with Us, Thank U, Sending Love and Blessings, 🐦💙🕊️
You are such an inspiration. Whenever I watch your videos - I think of you “Just keep on livin…” I also think of Lee. I battled depression for many years and what helped me overcome it was endorphins from intense training and learning to shut off negative self talk. Love your place - it’s breath taking 👏👍✌️😎
Loved that you found the flowing creek and new swimming hole. Great job on the cleanup. The property looks really good. Yikes, Snakes are so dangerous. Maybe some nice rubber boots when walking in the tall grass removing weeds. Always have your phone near so you can call someone if there is an emergency. I live in southeast Louisiana . I have a large pond and woods in my back yard. A very large ecosystem .Turtles, birds, snakes , frogs, etc. Just like you many close calls with poisonous snakes. I was a flip flop girl now converted to cute rubber boots. Loved the video and seeing you enjoy your home. Stay safe.
I’m not sure if you realise but the peace and tranquility that you show just living your everyday life on your beautiful property brings so much joy to my overwhelmed brain. Thank you for all that you do ❤
Thanks for a wonderful video, I've just discovered your channel. It brought back some happy memories: one the first nights I spent on my first trip to Australia was in a cabin on top of a hill outside Tenterfield, I'd ridden down there with two biking friends from Brisbane. It was an amazing place. Thanks also for your fundraising for suicide prevention and mental health (I'm a retired psychiatrist). Best wishes from Alsace, another beautiful part of the world.
the red bellies will keep the browns away, they are really docile and shy, you want to keep them around. they won't attack, but are super slow to move away!! Watch out for ticks with Occy, I'm sure your doing tick prevention, of all the dangerous wild life I actually reckon they are the most dangerous, especially for dogs and cats!! Its a top spot your in!!
Absolutely loved this episode Max, the garden area around your home looks so nice and calm all tidied up :) To have such a beautiful piece of land with a fresh water stream, magnificent trees and a great old mate to share it with, is a dream for so many people now more than ever. Its a pleasure to be able to come along with you and watch your connection to this land, your home and your garden all growing so beautifully, sending gratitude and appreciation for all that you share, from an old gardener with bare feet on the ground and my gaze up into a tree canopy :)x
Your land is such a paradise! That budget reno on the house really did transform the vibe. It's so cozy feeling now man. Great video seeing you embrace way more of a balance between working hard and relaxing hard too! If you're in that property with all those projects with no time for enjoying it or connecting with your community, it won't be anywhere near as fulfilling
Loved the video. Occy is just so adorable and a true companion. Max you are a very hard worker. Much respect for you my friend. You are doing a great job managing your property. I hate snakes! Hope your homestead is giving you satisfaction because you are putting a great amount of sweat equity into it. Good luck!
Hey Max - head to your nearest Bunnings and buy some plumbing pipe. If you half bury the pipe under trees and in garden beds, it provides a great home for the lizards & skinks. Also, buying seed bells to hang from trees brings in birds.
Maaaaaate. Found your channel a couple of days ago. And what an inspiration. Have binjed watched your Vids over the past 3 days. I personally think that you're helping so many people that are maybe just a little lost in there lives. And giving them a much more positive outlook on life with the way you have moved forward with your life. Sun shines through them clouds eventually. You're self and Occy are f=/*+-en legends. Thanks for the Vids bud and the positivity you give to all. 😀👍
Thank you for the encouragement to get out with your feet in the grass. I happened to do that today. Grounding is so important to one's mental health. My Dad's been gone for three years. Today is his birthday, so I went to visit his gravesite and the grass is beautiful where he's buried so we just enjoyed his favorite music, Johnny Cash and the fabulous day.
Enjoy your time with Augie your dog my dog died a week ago and it's been very hard it was my best friend slept with me every night up against my back miss him very much don't think I'll get another dog because it's too hard and vets are so expensive here I had to watch him suffer for three months because I couldn't afford to pay a vet and I didn't want to put him down did that before and you never forget it
I'm from Louisiana... It's a Sportsman Paradise here. I raised two boys. They have had all kids of pets even snakes. I was never a Fan of snakes. But, they learned which ones to handle or stay away from at our camp. I'm so proud of you learning so much about your property. It's like I don't want yor video to end. Everyday you walk outside It's a new adventure. Keep doing what you are doing. Send Videos more videos I can't get enough. LOL! I miss hearing from you and Occy. I have owned several Aussies. It's sad when they get old. They become deaf and eventually blind. I think I'm on my last one. I can't take the sorrow when they pass. My dog now is 16 and deaf. I see a cataract she has in one eye. That's how her parents started before the died😢
In Australia we have 15 natural species of pythons the biggest being the scrub python They can reach up to 8 metres (26 feet) long and weigh in excess of 25 kilograms (55 pounds)! But all other snakes you keep away from You don’t have any other snakes as pets here they are much too dangerous
You certainly are a very special person Max. We love watching your videos. Love, love your special place on this earth. I call it food for the soul, keep it up.
The cushy grass might be zoysia, which spreads pretty rapidly. Look it up and see if it matches up w the structure of the grass you have. I dig how excited you get about mowing and whippin'! Love your enthusiasm 💖
It looks to me like Ocky is fully enjoying life as a retiree. Just don't exert yourself too much, but just rest and enjoy a lot. He has chosen a few really nice places for this and at some point he will probably no longer be able to get up from one of the places on his own. Of course, that can hopefully be years away! It's nice to be able to participate a little in your life without running the risk of encountering a snake!! Thank you for sharing!
I've read that if you lay a hemp rope around your property, snakes don't like to cross over it. The land you have is absolutely magical! Love the little waterfalls!
@MaxandOccy more likely to find small eyed snakes active at night, they are also venomous and look very similar to a red bellied black snake (which are mostly diurnal). Love the videos brother!
Well, this was a great thing to see first thing on a Sunday morning! It is snowy and cold here in my New Hampshire, but we have some sun today, so I'll accept your challenge! I know it's good for me but when you can't feel your face, it's sometimes hard to follow through. As the Germans say - there is no bad weather, only bad clothing. Have a great time until we see you again - and yes, the place looks 100% better. Can't wait to see baby pademelons!! They're so cute!❤
For your veggie garden you may need a sun shade. I am not sure what State you are in. My sister lives outside of Adelaide and that is what she has to do with her gardens. However, you should maybe think about building cedar square foot gardens. They are off the ground at hand level so I do not have to bend over and it saves my back. It will keep a lot critters out as well from getting to your gardens. You would be amazed what you can grow in them. I have 2 and an old metal trailer converted.
I just ran a cross your videos Max & occy ❤ what a beautiful paradise you bought!! I can’t wait to see what you are going to do next ! I would definitely love to have a peaceful and lovely paradise like this but I am a woman and totally scared of snakes, and those spiders oh know I’d be not only scared as I mentioned but petrified. God bless you on this new journey ❤
Love that❤ " When the creeks flowin you've gotta regress to your childhood " Made me chuckle out loud😂 Joy in that there😁💖 Max maybe get some surf shoes for a little foot protection while there's no established pathway yet and to stop slipping/falls. That fall was definitely a regression to childhood 😅 excitement and no danger awareness 🤪 Maybe you could get friends to help you clear some more boulders to create a bigger pool 😁Take care Max.... Love to you n Occy from NE coast Scotland 🌊🏴 🌊 💕🙏
Appreciate your sensitivity to warning people about the snake footage. So kind of you 😁 And also really fascinating to see wildlife as they are naturally. Thanks for sharing your paradise!
Some one said screen doors and I reckon those draught strips to go at the base of your externals doors the buggers will crawl under. And watch out for those eastern brown snakes they’re nasty buggers, red bellies are docile and crawl away easily and keep Occy’s water away when he’s finished it they’re coming in for a drink..
Definitely appreciate that wildlife. Means the area is healthy and thriving, good signs. I live pretty close to you actually and have the same animals daily. The amount of frogs brings the red bellies… and pythons love a bat or a marsupial… I’ve got a resident python in my shed.. curls up on the shelving.. comes and goes as they please.. seen a massive drop in rats and mice since he moved in 👍 Very lucky to live where we live…
That is a beautiful property you have there. The Australian bush is a great place to live. Love the carpet snake, we have a few at our place and they are great to keep the rats and mice down.
I personally love it looking so much more open after you cleaned everything up. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, just enjoy your property for what it is :)
Great video, a few more flowers would be a nice touch, bring in bees and butterflies. I’m in uk so I’ve no suggestions for you! You’re both looking very good, relaxed and energised. It would be great to see what wildlife visits you after dark, apart from snakes! Just watching you and occy in your beautiful surroundings lifts my mood, think it’s seeing the bright colours and the sunshine. I’m waiting for spring to appear, sometime soon I hope. Remember to be kind to yourself❤
The yard looks beautiful❤ all manicured up . I would keep the grass and everything cut myself and the bushes after seeing that Anaconda it would be cut very close around my house❤ and it looks beautiful❤ that measuring device should expand in the middle. That's crazy it's so short. I love your place you did so good❤ you can get you some snake away or mothballs snakes don't like it I keep them all around my house I never see snakes and my neighbor does because she doesn't use them I enjoyed this video ❤hug occy for me he gets cuter every video❤😊❤ I enjoyed this video be careful with the snakes see y'all in the next one❤😊❤
Still not over the snake V bat debacle. Anyone else live somewhere this wild?

Fortunately, the snake population is low! 👀
We have squirrels, skunks, opossum, raccoons, deer, fox and the great horned owl. That’s good enough for me! 😮
Number one task: Screen doors everywhere! Keep those snakes out of your indoors! They can sneak in while you aren’t looking.
Snakes can get in the house the size of a quarter of an inch. So not only screen doors and windows, but make sure any little holes/gaps are filled in. And for Pete’s Sake: have an indoor bathroom!
😳
Looks like the drastic landscaping can rout out the snakes and critters…another reason to stay on top of it. Glad you guys are safe
Well he walks around barefoot it’s grounding healing energy pulling mitochondria out through the earths magnetic forces.

Whipper Snipper is a great name for what we in UK call a Strimmer. I may have to adopt that name so much more fun.
We call this he line trimmers or weed whackers here in the USA lol

Haha so I've now learnt re the mowing and whipper snippering! (turns out the handle did extend further 💀)
Weed wacker protip - do the weed work before mowing, that way the clippings get chopped up and leave you with nice looking edges everywhere with no clippings in sight.
Thanks for the tip Roy! 😄
Always learning! Thanks mate!
Frangipani for scent, native violets for ground cover, hibiscus for flowers (they will grow into big shrubs, so plant further away from house). Herbs love a sunny spot, great near a doorway.
Can you drop the parking bay for the van down a bit? Wouldn’t have to dig it out much but you only have to do it once instead of mucking with the awning every time.
Hi there, you need to put fine mesh all around the bottom of your house, that will keep the snakes from breeding under the house. Cheers.
Remember how many snakes were found when they pulled off the roof? That house ain't safe from anything! 😆

I dig my mower time, and whippa snippa therapy as well. Embrace it!
that little bed close to the house would be ideal for herbs in between flowers, close to the house and kitchen for cooking.
Love that idea!

Ha thank you so much! I appreciate it 💛
Thanks Jeffrey! Barefoot for life haha
The staghorn ferns in your trees are beautiful and healthy!
I'm from a sub tropical area in Louisiana. We have snakes, spiders and lots of wildlife. Australia has always fascinated me b/c the animals and plants are so different. Love your videos!
Well 46 % of Australia is tropical but we also have much of Australia is also subtropical
46 % of Australia is tropical so a lot of folks struggle like this
I’m not sure if clover is native to your area, but if it is, I HIGHLY recommend seeding with clover! It only grows a couple of inches high so you hardly have to mow it, it’s great for pollinators and it’s so soft to walk on!
21:00 Gardening Australia is the best gardening show in the world. Anybody will get lots of ideas of what to do in their garden from watching it.
So happy for your happiness! Enjoy. You worked hard for it.
The surfboard bag is insulated and stays warm, it’s a perfect attraction for snakes, I’d move it if you don’t want snakes on your doorstep.
Could you drop a bit of air from the tyres so the awning isn’t too low?
You look so much more relaxed after your dip in the amazing creek. Your property is absolutely amazing. Much love to you and Occy from my family in the USA.
Thank you for watching 💛
Max! That scene of you under that waterfall was unreal, you live in paradise my friend, what a beautiful property
I am still cleaning up after the 1 in 100 years flood in Far North Qld. But my moods are getting better when I watch your positive and "can do" attitude videos. It feels like the videos are my personal "Better Help" sessions.
Thank you so much for sharing your paradise.
💚 🌧️ 💚 🌧️ 💚 --- Max: You have created such an incredible sanctuary - good on ya! 😉
😅 Do you have mosquitoes? Why am I not seeing lots of screen doors including in van? 🐍 You are brave to walk around barefoot after showing us the snake. Occy too! 🐾
That was on my mind, too. I have never seen him swat the air, so I wonder about flies, etc.
TOTALLY mozzies are around all year round 😂😂🦟🦟🦟🦟🦟 in Australia,
So Planting a great garden to REPELL them using LAVENDER, CITRONELLA, LEMON BALM, LEMON TYME, ROSEMARY, BASIL, CATNIP, - for Flower lovers MARIGOLDS,
Great to grow in pots around any outdoor lounging or eating areas, with of course the bonus they are great four our cooking.
❤🙏🏻❤️👍🏻🙋🏻♀️🇦🇺
Or bees, wasps, spiders???
Squirrels 🐿. Did they make it to the rainforest.
@@l82theparty4we don't have squirrels here. Possums though but only an issue at night unless they're living in your roof😅
I totally don't mind the snake footage. But the spiders.... STOOOOOOPPPPPP!!!
I agree 100% on keeping the property landscaped and controlled!
Shipping container could be turned into a pool😁
Beautiful. I just cant get over you going barefoot in the rainforest! So scary 😨
And then I remembered as a kid in northwest Florida, I used to barefoot parkour (before parkour was a thing) from the house down the trail to the dock which was on our alligator and Water Moccasin (a very poisonous, amphibious Floridian snake) ridden lake (where we swam!
Do you really want to zoom down there like that?"
I did!
Thank you so much for sharing this Erika! Sounds like a wonderful place to grow up 💛
I ran into a woman in line at a restaurant that was wearing the "Here for Occy Hoodie." Of course we chatted for quite a bit about our favorite TH-camrs, Max & Occy.
Thank you! Have a great week too 💛
What a gorgeous property you have Max. The trees are breath taking. I live on Vancouver Island.we have ever greens and mountains. Beautiful in a different way. ❤️🇨🇦
"Cuz I'm cooler than a polar bear's toenails" 😂😂😂😂
Hi from Manitoba 🇨🇦 stay well 🙏
I'm a Canadian gardener, I have some dream flowers/plants that I wish I could plant here.
Sorry you lost your mate. Wattle is a bad one for anyone that suffers from hayfever. So many people are affected by the golden pollen
Snakes can get in anywhere
Thank you! Hope you get back here soon and love it as much as before 💛
Do not like snakes!! 🐍 I think I would enjoy more time on the couch with Occy! 😴 thanks for the beautiful video Max! ☀️
Whipper snipper is so much for fun than calling it a trimmer!
Thanks for using my song "GO OUTSIDE"! 0:38
Add another section to the wood deck in order to make awning higher? Will allow for more airflow and easier movement.
Stay safe.
Be blessed Max!!! I wish you nothing e lots of peace and love!!!
Absolutely loved this episode Max, the garden area around your home looks so nice and calm
all tidied up :)
To have such a beautiful piece of land with a fresh water stream, magnificent trees and a great old mate
to share it with, is a dream for so many people now more than ever.
Its a pleasure to be able to come along with you and watch your connection to this land, your home and your garden all growing so beautifully, sending gratitude and appreciation for all that you share,
from an old gardener with bare feet on the ground and my gaze up into a tree canopy :)x
Good luck!
Love the lawn mowing.. enjoying seeing more of you block
Strimmer first, then mow 😊❤ The mower picks up all the bits
Thank you for the encouragement to get out with your feet in the grass. I happened to do that today. Grounding is so important to one's mental health. My Dad's been gone for three years. Today is his birthday, so I went to visit his gravesite and the grass is beautiful where he's buried so we just enjoyed his favorite music, Johnny Cash and the fabulous day.
Enjoy your time with Augie your dog my dog died a week ago and it's been very hard it was my best friend slept with me every night up against my back miss him very much don't think I'll get another dog because it's too hard and vets are so expensive here I had to watch him suffer for three months because I couldn't afford to pay a vet and I didn't want to put him down did that before and you never forget it
The aerials are perfection. The greens and the textures of the trees, bushes and grasses are the apex of ART. Go Nature!
In Australia we have 15 natural species of pythons the biggest being the scrub python
They can reach up to 8 metres (26 feet) long and weigh in excess of 25 kilograms (55 pounds)!
But all other snakes you keep away from
You don’t have any other snakes as pets here they are much too dangerous
Paradise!! What an amazing life you and Occy are living!! Thanks for sharing with us ❤
not sure if anyone else suggested twisting the handle on the measuring wheel tool? might extend?
You certainly are a very special person Max. We love watching your videos. Love, love your special place on this earth. I call it food for the soul, keep it up.
I lived in the rainforest in Smithfield Cairns. Loved it. Was so beautiful and peaceful.
My idea of living. Such an inspiration towards finding a good spot on the globe.
Thanks Max love to see this Freedom.
Love that❤ " When the creeks flowin you've gotta regress to your childhood " Made me chuckle out loud😂 Joy in that there😁💖
Max maybe get some surf shoes for a little foot protection while there's no established pathway yet and to stop slipping/falls.
I just loved how the snake took a break part way through tackling the bat, moving his jaw… 😂
Thanks!
I spray vinegar around my fences and exterior, that seems to keep the snakes away. Haven’t had a brown snake for a couple of years now.
Definitely appreciate that wildlife. Means the area is healthy and thriving, good signs.
I live pretty close to you actually and have the same animals daily. The amount of frogs brings the red bellies… and pythons love a bat or a marsupial…
I’ve got a resident python in my shed.. curls up on the shelving.. comes and goes as they please.. seen a massive drop in rats and mice since he moved in 👍
Very lucky to live where we live…
That is a beautiful property you have there. The Australian bush is a great place to live. Love the carpet snake, we have a few at our place and they are great to keep the rats and mice down.
I personally love it looking so much more open after you cleaned everything up. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, just enjoy your property for what it is :)
Snakes give me the wellies! Love your beautiful home and grounds! ❤
