“If you don’t have aim or IQ forget about cracked movement”. Bro, this felt like you were personally calling me out 😂. Had me laughing there. I’m new to apex. Appreciate the tips.
Watched this video, went into firing range for an hour, then hopped into ranked and climbed out of plat 4 for the first time, and then kept pushing all the way to 100 rp off plat 2. I appreciate the tips man!
Ay bro just subscribed. Gotta say..well done withe the explanation and tutorial. Keep up the hard work my gee. Learned a lot about simple repositioning and game iq. I've been ok at the wll jump and super jump from the zip but you are right on all levels man. In game experience always becomes second nature. I'm here for the channel. Be the best apex player you know you should be. Much love ❤ and respect ✊🏽
I noticed that you didn't include super-glides and because of that I would like to mention that they're super useful and can majorly throw your enemies off. One thing to know however is that they are hard to get down initially but get easier the more practice you put in.
@@redlll7692 It can be done on controller considering I do it every day 😎. But seriously yes you can do it but it's not the easiest thing you can learn in terms of movement as it takes time learn but eventually you'll gradually get more and more consistent.
@@redlll7692 put jump on l1 and crouch on r1 and take 2 weeks to get used to it, play hold to crouch, and super glides get easy as hell. Even on console
In my experience, figuring out the super glide isn’t too bad. It’s the application of it that I struggle with to this day. Mine are still a bit inconsistent and sometimes I go overboard and get a dead jump or a dead slide but it’s definitely a huge mechanic for repositioning in close fights.
I’m a caustic main and I use my controls similar to that, that was shown on screen except my crouch is left stick toggle. It seemingly works for me because it’s also the movement stick
This has definitely opened up a new world of possibilities for me during games I've been able to somewhat catch up with my teammates and opponents so this has helped me understand a lot better
For the last 2 hours I have been watching movement videos and how to better control recoil and how to use my brain and which fights to push and when you need to back out. Crazy how much I've improved, I went from a silver to plat in a day and got my first ever 3k damage. Recoil is harder to control on controller because PC players can just shake their hand and completely reset the pattern (oscillation method) and we don't have that same liability. Crazy video man, I would rate you the 2nd best movement video, #1 had more precise information and mini tutorials but you had some game sense (50/50, spam crouch, strafing). Earnt yourself my sub. Take care, chur
I randomly watch these. I have around 1700 hours and still find most of them useful. Around 1400-1500 hours I got my first 4k after changing to better controls. Within days of changing controls and learning movement I started to slowly average 2-3 kills a game with 500-1500 damage.
@Robert Sullivan it's a lot more fun to play rank and see the progress then playing warzone... every match is the same, sweats all the time, people hiding in the bushes, people camping buy stations and load outs 🤦
I felt called out by the not used to wall bouncing in game And I really love my movement but Apext hasn’t been working for me for a week so here I am since I know damn well Im gonna be rusty lol
I can’t super jump that consistently so I’m just asking, do you double tap X then press A once, because it looks like that in slow motion. U did it a coupe of times such as 3:30
You have it backwards it’s interact jump jump, the first jump needs to be right after you tap interact, they should be hit so close to each other that you almost hit them at the same time. Having interact and jump buttons mapped so one is hit with your left hand and the other is hit with you right hand makes it’s easier to get the timing down.
I truly don't understand the zip superjump. I've tried for so long, and I just don't get it. Interact jump jump. Is it just the jumps I need to spam? Or all three super super fast? Edit: nvmd. It turns out my normal jump button, R1, is a little destroyed from being pressed too much, but when I switch it to l1, it works just fine and I can super zip pol
I noticed watching faide, he will move forward in the air in whatever direction he's facing, but when I do the same on console, my player will only move in the direction I jumped from the ground, even if I turn and look in a different direction mid air. Is that a pc mechanism only?
I know I'm way late here, but I'd recommend running a custom control scheme. Crouch on right analog click (R3), jump on LB, ping on X (for PS4/5, for XB it'd be ping on A), and tactical on RB. The only downside here is that when you re-bind ping for some reason you are no longer able able to ping while on the map screen. But at least you are able to jump/slide without taking your thumbs off the analog sticks.
Big tip for controller layout ik what sum might think about what I’m going to say even though it’s not in his video doesn’t make me wrong but USE EVOLVED For at least a week and thank me later bc that makes u pretty much keep all ur finger on the controller and be able to get the movements down trust meeee
7:00 "I would argue AA is more important than cracked movement" - not like AA is the sole reason people lose, but it is a thing that exists and can make CQC engagements feel borderline unfair. For pubs, sure, whatever. In ranked, they should at least nerf the close range rotational AA, in favor of slightly buffing long range AA. Long range is ass, I agree, but CQC is more important than long range. Though I will say, controller should also be able to tap-strafe and move while looting. And give us input-based mathcmaking with options to disable crossplay for PC and MnK players. This is just something that I just though needed to be brought up given how many players don't listen to facts. But, yeah, WAAYYY ahead of topic, so I should stop. Great video, though!
True, as a fellow controller player, but aim asist doesn't put up to computer movement, for example tap staffing is easy but gives such a bonus to a player, but that's what ranked's for.
Bro i could beam people on PC with almost zero experience even with Flatline , on console i feel like every fight is rng on whose aim assist is gonna kick in harder. Sometimes it also feels like there is zero aim assist even with irons and its funny going from hitting 70% of shots to missing every bullet.
“If you don’t have aim or IQ forget about cracked movement”. Bro, this felt like you were personally calling me out 😂. Had me laughing there. I’m new to apex. Appreciate the tips.
It’s true, and for thag reason alone, apex isn’t a movement based game
If you see this comment, what do you play on. We can play
I'm also new and thought the same thing lol

Plat 4 lmao
@@dapluq5961 3 seasons in a row diamond now bb, we call that shit progress, hope you feel better tho :)

Can that be done on controller? I thought it was just a mnk thing

THANKS SO MUCH KING I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!
Idk why you don’t have 50+k subs bro, you’re solid. Subbed and shared
Tap to use / hold to reload is the move. If you play doors and have zip line fights you won’t get any funky reload animations

Lmao
I can do most of this stuff but u just gave me motivation to really hit diamond my highest rank is plat but I subbed and liked
I hit diamond now
such a helpful guide, especially being on console and having to carry certain homies on pc unfortunately. good to see high tier combat as well
Thanks this really helped me
I noticed a significant improvement in the way I play Apex since I started watching your videos.. Pretty sure that’s not a coincidence. 😋🤓
Thank u bro now I know how to do the zip line thing
Love the kandyrew clip haha great video
Controller Lyr1c😳
😳
I recommend using the bumpers for jump and crouch, easier for b-hopping and crouch aiming
I use left bumper for jumping and right stick for crouch, works pretty well as well
You got my sub my guy
Good tips and content. Subbed
needed this
THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊
okay so i covered all of these making sure im not missing anything thanks for the reminder man :)
Man loved your vid just wanted to ask is it worth learning bunny hop and claw
claw is foreign to me but if you have paddles b hopping can be solid for sure.
@@MangosInTrees appreciate that man
The intro is just hilarious
Coming from warzone to Apex, this helps a lot👍
Same
Glad y’all made the switch

Do you use lower thumbstick tension?

This is helpful
If you switch LB and A you can bunny hop much much easier.
Buddy really said “Close the faide stream” and the thing is… I actually closed it
🔥🔥
Hard locked at Plat 4, this is pissing me off. Well, I guess it’s not that bad for my first ever ranked season and split.
Try evolved controller set it’s better for yall

Only just realised he killed kandyrew

Yes
Mangonsin there's an easier and faster way of doing zipline movement just hold your X button and spam your jump button while turning your joystick.
Can you put subtitles please
how can you even do that while turning the analog??? 3 hands??

Why can I not do it. I'm sooooo slow.

My aim is decent, recoil is just an issue
On your video
Dude u even sound abit like faide
hello
Hi mr cow
I literally fucking hate this this game now. It was fun, but the skill gap is so Insanely massive and annoying not to mention lack of content.
Get good
schmoovement
What about aim assist I controller player I have good aim but the aim assist
ya lost me when you encouraged learning crouch and strafe spamming....
Oh for YOU, I recommend going prone behind doors
Lost me at 7:10
'we got aim assist' nah bro you got aim assist . real G's like me dont use it.
That whole explanation on why movement is “needed” was scripted asf lmao u can tell u was reading that shit bro 😂
I mean, at the end he does say it’s a script.....
Thanks for the help mango, just subbed 🤌
