anyone else noticing that some of the new buildings make putting wattson fences down difficult? Like the fences lock into weird spots and can't / won't connect which makes quick fence placing tougher. Out in the open or in wide rooms it works fine but some buildings where the door is near the corner it just works weird.
@@DeShyTheHuman I stopped using her for now because the fences are so annoying now. And Pathfinder seems to have a ton of issues placing his zipline as well -- there have been so many times I've been killed because it won't let me place the damned zipline.
Ya. I also hate that you can’t fence through people or mirage decoys anymore. You have to have clear like of sight or it complete messes up the placement of the node
Rampart was my main but I felt abit static coz of the slow walls. Tried Wattson and luv how fluid she is and got two wins in a row. Wattson is now my main. I also feel that the community respect Wattson. She's the poster child for "nice' players. Never met a toxic Wattson. Ever.
No actual joke but I was so trash at playing crypto but when I played wattson for like 20-30 games. literally yesterday I got 5!! wins. Like I was actually baffled. I was like did I seriously get multiple wins??
@@Mark12434 Wattsons kit is very simple. Dealing with Prowlers with fences is easy with Wattson. But, Prowlers are predictable. Players are not. A good Wattson can predict what players are gonna do and use her fences accordingly. Any team with a good Wattson will win end game in an enclosed area. Case closed.
You can be super aggressive. What I like to do is actually make choke point with the fences.... In an open area you can just place a wall of them, even if an enemy sees then it will either change there path or they will take the time to destroy them.
There actually (very surprisingly) no issues this update. I was expecting not to be able to play and have a lot of issues but, it actually runs just fine

i recently started playing apex and when i first saw wattson i knew i wanted to learn how to play her and maybe main her. she’s the first legend i’ve unlocked and i was so excited to try her ingame, so thank you so much for this guide, i’ve seen already multiple guides on wattson but they’re either pre-buffs or they don’t really explain everything like you did. so thank you!
I liked this video JUST because you asked nicely instead of begging or overexaggerating it... etc. etc. Class. Nice. Thanks for the overview of wattson. It went way further than later guides and still relevant 100%
This is the best vid I have seen talking about Wattson in a serious way. She is NOT to be underestimated. But, what baffles me is why so many people put her in D or C tier in their reviews and generally dismiss her and yet put Caustic in A tier who is not effective in StormFront map. Wattson in endgame with her Alt cancels out all the legends bombard abilities and nades and regens the team shield in a gunfight. This alone gives you a big edge over your opponents especially if your in final circle with fences. Wattson is A tier. Case closed.
One thing that I wished they changed about wattsons “q” is the placement. For example at 2:13 I wish you could put them over the railing and not connect to the wall. Like where you look you can place it. So like over a window you can place it and stuff like that
In other seasons I used to be an attack Watson not using fences rarely using my alt since the passive shield recharge scares enemies thinking I’m full on shield but now I can finally be a normal Watson (I also play a lot of arenas and this will change that so much)
While I’m happy to see these buffs I’ve been saying for a long time now I would like to see her ult charge shields of downed people. This would in my opinion be amazing at repelling third parties. If not that maybe even she heals 25 shield for revived teammates (the defibrillator revive seems strange if the result is same) doesn’t seem like these things would be op to me considering some of the things they buffed lifeline and Gibby for in the past
Watsons ultimate can zap ordinates?? All this time I've only been using it for shield regeneration. Also I didnt know it reduces cd for pylons very intresting.

crypto isnt really in need of a massive buff like wattson. He definitely should get one and he probably will next season. A big reason his pick rate is so low is because alot of people get bored easily from sitting in a corner on a drone
I play wattson just bc it takes more to play her, like, you have to be more aware and she can force others to play in a specific way bc of her fences and pylon.
man wattson shes good but it took a while to get at this point, wattson is still pretty out classed by other legends and her passive is literally just to get her to her ultimate i think wattson is like pathfinder bc both chars are kind of shitty but u gotta be good with them for them to actually be good
Got her today and i can already tell I'll making her my main. She's perfect mix of offensive and defensive gameplay and actually makes me use my skills like aiming, positioning etc. My weapon builds with her are Wingman/Mozambique Rampage/Mozambique or Triple take/Mozambique and it's really good and fun 😆

Yea I've noticed it, mine would lock like a whole foot away from the door and i have to take my time to place it properly

I stopped playing Apex because of the server problems etc but I might start playing again now that Wattson is buffed :)
