7:05 This is something I’ve long thought about, and was happy to see it confirmed. A large part of the Imperium’s strategy to survive involves, well, motivation. We all meme about the Commissariat and getting a bolt pistol shoved in a guardsman’s face, but this is peanuts compared to the large scale and much more crucial propaganda machine the Imperium must utilize. There aren’t enough Commissars, for one thing, and secondly, it would be absurd to have one Commissar per squad or company. The Imperium has to have a mammoth propaganda machine to get any sort of use out of guardsmen. Like in real life, soldiers who want to be there are generally more useful than soldiers who do not. A good way of convincing and enticing that desire is to white pill people. Guilliman’s return in a dark time is a sign the Emperor is providing salvation. A son of the Emperor is back. He is leading the Imperium to salvation. The people are not alone, they have Demi-god backup. That would be blared from every vox and posters on every doorway. His victories and feats shouted from the rooftops.
Can anyone found Similarities when reading the era indomitus, it feels like guilliman was emperor heraclius, leading the final leagion, (the final forces of the imperium) and by taking a massive Gamble beat back the Persian (Dark power) restored the estern roman empire, (emperium sanctum) but having a foot hold at Italy the western half of the roman Empire (emperium naihlus). see the Similarities??
And just think...Grampa Smurf there is the tiny primarch imagine if seeing Vulkan walk towards you for some transhuman dread lol...pitch black skin glowing red eyes 5ft wide 10ft tall with a hammer large enough it would make dreadnoughts weapons look small
Lol if normal humans feel this way about guilliman and when guilliman saw his father and thought he was like a star then ..what would happen if a normal human saw the emperor now directly??...no wonder the sisters of battle got their hairs turned white after meeting the emperor.
Clearly the war of propaganda is crucial. The Word Bearers know this well. It is good that the Loyalists have someone on their side who understands as well now
Can you imagine how epic all of these events would be if Amazon does the show right.. I mean Guilli’s resurrection alone would be like the return of Gandalf mixed with all of the charges mixed into one.. I get chills hoping one day to see that come to life

0:00-2:10 in other words, her character was shoved up out of the nothing just to have the nowdays mandatory female replacement of legacy characters but writters had no idea what to do with her backstory and whent for the fatherless route to call it a day
Pretty much. They also show their fragility by not having the confidence to write a new female character, instead, they need to steal the glory of creed by assigning his name to a female replacement.
As part of the single digit percentage of the fan base that’s female, I groan every time they announce a book with a female protagonist. I don’t read them, either. There are so many “rules” that get put on these female characters, they just become uninteresting.
The models from ForgeWorld, and the vastly superior plastics from GW, are meant to represent a specific footprint for the Primarchs for some semblance of game balance. But the Primarchs are massively larger than their model representation. The stories are canon, not the tabletop game. The books in the Siege of Terra series describe even the largest of Astartes, such as Abaddon in his full suit of terminator armor, only coming up to the lower chest area of Perturabo - who was in a toga and not in his own armor. Perturabo wasn't a demon prince; he picked up Abaddon - again, in his full suit of armor - with one hand and slammed him against a wall with ease. Dorn swung his sword straight out from his up and not upwards and cracked Kharn across the head, knocking him entirely off of the spaceport. Most soldiers were unable to watch the Primarchs move in action as they were an absolute blur to normal human vision. During the crusade, Ferrus was walked around a sparring pit and some 1st company Emperor's Children in Tartarus pattern terminator armor only came up to his upper abdomen area. Astartes are terrifyingly large and intimidating to humans at around 7.6 feet tall. Primaris even more so standing 8.53 feet tall out of armor. (Thunder Warriors were actually closer in size to Primaris than Astartes, but that's another topic...) Primarchs are in the 10-14 foot range (pre-demon prince mode). They have super powers, many of which they weren't even aware of, and they move faster than even the fastest Aeldari. Truly terrifying demigods who could clean house in even a Marvel or DC universe.
Well the whole woke rules are kinda strange. Imo compelling characters matter. They obviously can be housewives or powerful and effective commanders. It just has to be written in a good way. And until now GW&co is kinda male if you know what I mean
how can cadia propaganda be effective if most of the imperium doesnt know that chaos exist? to the point of executing entire armies of guardsmen after winning a war against chaos
That's not how that works this is mostly done with conflicts against demons and some places like cadia that are frequently in contact with demons like cadia are exempt
I thought the whole executing guardsmen thing mostly stopped after the great rift opened and daemons swarmed all over Terra. After that they were like "ah well the cat is out of the bag."
What I like about Guilliman is that he isn't all powerful. His primary strength is diplomacy, strategy. While he is absolutely strong and can definetly fend for himself, He could never be Warmaster despite behing a Space Marine, there are others more suitable for that.

Gonna downvote this video, just wayyy too much interruption of the story. We are all 40k people here, we know exactly what primarchs are, this was borderline rambling at times.
She is a GW, WOKE character. They felt they needed to ride a new female character off the name of a powerful male name. How insulting to women that should be. GW didn't think a unique and new female character could stand on her own. So they basically did a sex swap. Now instead of being her own thing she will always be in the shadow of her name sake.
Her father is getting old. The replacement is understandable. Women in the army aren't rare. But she does have large boots to fill. For now I place my trust in the writers. You will have to cope though if Ursula works as a compelling character.
The logic of this story is incredibly flawed. The daughter that didn't even take her fathers name would not have that same name recognition and respect, even after ascended to her position. Propaganda as a weapon against the forces of chaos is almost laughable. Considering the risks, the resources and the time required to get to cadia to 'find' what was left for her, nothing that could be gained there would be worth the risk of pushing into the heart of enemy territory when you have barely enough soldiers to defend yourselves. Not to mention the actual end of this story, being that she gets to the vault and finds she is supposed to make a new cadia... how is that supposed to be a weapon to defeat chaos? Invest more resources and manpower in establishing a whole new world while the galaxy burns? Not a chance. Generic female fantasy story set in 40k, girl boss has to step up help save the day, ends up saving no one... are they actually going to continue this storyline though? lol

She knows Guillimans face from all the propaganda. 3. He wasn't what she expected. 4. The imperium uses propaganda. 5. Did you know they used his face for the propaganda? 6. What's there to whinge about? She serves the emperor, not an empress. It's the emperor of MAN-kind, lmao. Modern women make sandwiches, and women in 40k serve by being cheerleaders for Space Marines. It's all ok, hahaha.
This exerpt tries to make Guilliman seem profound and awe-inspiring, but instead the description is merely nauseating. Guilliman himself would find it distasteful and full of pretence. Yes, to behold a primarch does certainly leave an impression, if only because of the connection they have to the Immaterium, but protracting this moment cheapens it. Of all the Emperor's sons, Guilliman is supposed to be the most level-headed and grounded, but the narration still chooses to bathe him in saliva emphasizing his godlike attributes instead of his humility and purpose. He's the sort of person who really ought to be above this stuff and nonsense. The same reality of Gulliman's transcendent nature could have been conveyed far more subtley with an anticlimax that builds into dawning realization than simply defying expectation: demonstrating how Guilliman is different from the mythology of what a primarch is more important than demonstrating how he is not like ordinary people. The later scene when Ursula meets Guilliman again is so much better for this exact reason because that's where he expresses human doubt, not divine serenity. The scene would have been far more effective and interesting if it had been about Ursula instead of riding Guilliman's dick. He could have been impressed to see that she _wasn't_ stunned into silence by the merest sight of him and find it to be a welcome change of pace from reliving the same tired charade of people being astounded to see him to the point it's been hammered into him that he can't stop people from trying to worship him. But Ursula was passive, when Guilliman would have appreciated far more if she was irreverant.

Is it REALLY that hard to find a compelling snippet and then slob the knob of the book, story, author, and of course games workshop? (my bad rho, I obviously meant The GREAT Games Workshop) It's literally The.Same.Lazy.Formula.For.Every.SIngle.Vid except of course product reviews, which run on the popular 10/10 --- 11/10 sliding scale.
Maybe I'm wrong, maybe it does take a lot of hard work being a proper corporate bitch boy. But I get it, anything for The Great Games Workshop, the amazing and great employees, and of course, the authors that make up the incredible black library. Every single one of whom is the most perfect organism in the entire universe and just great
It really did have to be Guilliman who came back first. Ultimately I want all the loyalist primarchs to come back (And I'll put money on that exact thing happening), but when the Imperium has Big Bobby G to run things, Lion-o to smash things, Grandpa Dorn to fortify everything, Corax to be the surgical problem remover, and Vulkan to let the Imperium find its heart again (Whilst making some excellent wargear), the Imperium's going to be in a MUCH better position. All the others would be great too, but I think these would fill the gaping holes most in need of filling in the Imperium right now.
and the Angel? I really hope they find a way to bring back Sanguinius
You pretty much summed up the wyrds attributed to the 7 surviving loyalist Primarchs (see Propsero Burns):
- One to be the heir to the Emperor's Throne: Guilliman
- One to fortify the defences of the Imperium: Dorn
- One to guard the hearth: Vulkan
- One to watch the distant perimeter: The Kahn
- One to command the armies: The Lion
- One to control intelligences: Corax
- One to be executioner: Russ
They have the template for their roles upon their return.
@@fullmetalprism5249 Oh I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if they do just that one day. Not sure how, but I'm sure they could (And will) cook up some lore shenanigans to do it. It's a fan favourite and a license to print money all rolled into one, so... yeah. I just hope that if/when they do it, it's not contrived.
I WOULD be surprised though if they don't leave him 'til last. If they brought him back before at least the ones we know (Or heavily suspect) are still alive, I'm not sure that'd be a good move on their part.

I kinda wish Ursarkar E. Creed returned. He is such an iconic figure.
In 5-8 years Trazyn will declare "Creed! I chose you!" And he will become an intregral part of the plot to wreck some chaos
Don't worry, Trazyn got him frozen up in a Pokeball.
You know, I actually think it would be cool if her returned as a Chaos-corrupted form of himself

Khan is sooo underrated and i would loveeee for him to come screaming back poppin wheelies haha
If Rho gets a chance, he ought to give the newer omnibus, Forges of Mars a try. Great read for the Mechanicus and there is a juicy, juicy tidbit on a certain Dragon....
Does RG and Ursula know that Trazyn has captured her father?
No.
Only cawls know
Maybe if she asks Santa Cawl next Sanguinala...

Nice to see Guilliman understands the power of persuasion ower comand. Thats one of his strangths I think.
guilliman is the statesman compared to his other brothers.
7:49 I dunno. The amount of skulls floating around the Imperium, I argue that the Emperor is absolutely the face of the Empire.

Guilliman definitely would use the Lions Image he is a politician and statesmen he know as well as general he understands the value of appearance and morale the moment he has Lions appearance he will spread it in Sanctus ... for many reasons as is always the case with the Big Boy in Blue ....
How do the Primarchs view the custodes? are they like little brothers/cousins? do they view them closer to equals?
The custodes disliked the primarchs..

For the Emperor!!
Guilliman doubters hate him because he really is that great.
And just think...Grampa Smurf there is the tiny primarch imagine if seeing Vulkan walk towards you for some transhuman dread lol...pitch black skin glowing red eyes 5ft wide 10ft tall with a hammer large enough it would make dreadnoughts weapons look small
I’m not sure about the setting of this being decades past the fall of Cadia. We’re only about fifteen years past it in the current timeline
I want Ursakar back. There I said it.
Lol if normal humans feel this way about guilliman and when guilliman saw his father and thought he was like a star then ..what would happen if a normal human saw the emperor now directly??...no wonder the sisters of battle got their hairs turned white after meeting the emperor.
Amazing
Clearly the war of propaganda is crucial. The Word Bearers know this well. It is good that the Loyalists have someone on their side who understands as well now
Imagine being a normal human and meeting a primarch
Can you imagine how epic all of these events would be if Amazon does the show right.. I mean Guilli’s resurrection alone would be like the return of Gandalf mixed with all of the charges mixed into one.. I get chills hoping one day to see that come to life
The picture of Guilliman doesn’t really show what he is described as, looking unbelievably beautiful, and then there are the aura to make it even close to impossible to look at especially the first time.
Blessed is the mind too small for doubt.
Do you think the emperor is controlling what loyal primarks return and in what order?
No. He wouldn't have waited. He needs them a thousand years ago, in any order, however he can get them.

0:00-2:10 in other words, her character was shoved up out of the nothing just to have the nowdays mandatory female replacement of legacy characters but writters had no idea what to do with her backstory and whent for the fatherless route to call it a day
It's technically possible that a woman could be that good. Technically.
What a dull fellow.
the way how the world is right now it is possible.
Who is Ursula??
Noone. It's just chaos corrupting our history. Nothing to see here
This was an enjoyable book for sure, but a couple of parts had me laughing a bit and not favorably.

Hearing the backstory to Ursula Greed for first time, it sounds like a one of the new marvel female heros. Its the first thing that came to mind.
Exactly what I heard too lol
It's so silly ... What a shame that they pollute this awesome hobby with their politic views
Except done better
woman=woke apparently. Maybe people should read the book before assuming that Ursula is a woke character.
They would be fun at parties if anyone ever invited them to one. 😂
Wokespotters = irrelevance.
Women can't be leaders, they never were in history and never will be. Her existence is absolutely mind boggling

Q: we’ve killed off creed but we need a replacement what do we do?
A make it a woman and make her gay!
Gosh!! What a horrible book!
If they want to include women they could just add to the Adepta Sororitas. But no, they have to force them in EVERYWHERE. It's so tiresome
@@Krachbumm-Enteyeah, how dare women be in more than the one place men designate for them AND NOWHERE ELSE

Her father is getting old. The replacement is understandable. Women in the army aren't rare.
But she does have large boots to fill.
For now I place my trust in the writers.
You will have to cope though if Ursula works as a compelling character.

Rowboat girlyman.
Generic female fantasy story set in 40k, girl boss has to step up help save the day, ends up saving no one... are they actually going to continue this storyline though? lol
I'd argue it's less silly than the primaris marines introduction
Ursala Creed is just the woke gender swap of a beloved character for DEI/ESG sake.

They're already here, man. They're already here.
I got excited when i saw CREED then I realized it was the DEI creed 🙄🙄
1:12 oh no... this reek of woke and feminism nonsense...
Ursula Creed is just another bad character that came from nowhere in modern wow40k lore.
