  • Welcome back:)
    Many of you have bought the Oralift on my recommendation. The Oralift is known as a "non surgical facelift" device and it is one of the few at home devices I have seen a huge difference with. In this video, Dr Mohindra, the founder of the Oralift is back with us again, to answer your questions about the device. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have more questions and if you use the device, please share your experience below

    Hi Claudia. I also bought the Oralift. I am on month 4 now. The issue I had is with the app. I had a minor problem. Sue was very helpful and always answered my emails but they do need to make it a bit more user friendly. Oralift needs to let everyone know on their videos that the device does NOT sit firmly on your teeth like a mouth guard. It rests on the teeth and it may move around in your mouth slightly but that is ok as long as you are not biting down on the appliance and/or keeping your teeth from touching the device. There are so many questions about this. I was concerned about this too. But I realized it will only rest on top of the teeth. It will not grasp your teeth. It's such an interesting concept. Curious to see my results after a year.

    My jaw muscles were so tight fitting my device was so uncomfortable! And yes, I too started at 30 seconds from the first week of Dec, 2022 now I’m up to 20 minutes. Grinding my teeth stopped at the 5th time wearing it for 1.5 minutes! The other physical difference I’ve noticed in my face is asymmetry. My right eye slightly hooded… now it isn’t! Also, I’ve noticed my hairline and baby hairs growing out which is crazy! My neck feels toned and strong.
    I’m pleased with this device and so grateful to you for recommending it! I’m just super happy to stop grinding my teeth and have less facial pain these days! Thank you both so much for sharing your insight and help the rest of us answer our questions 🙏🏽

    Hi Claudia ! Great video . Dr. Mohindra is so sweet . I must get this for the new year . I have a click in my left jaw when I chew , I think I heard you mention you had one and now it’s gone ? I had it checked out with a jaw surgeon and he said as long as it doesn’t hurt I can live with it , I know my co-workers hear it as I just click and chew away 😅 . I really don’t care especially when I’m starving but it is annoying . The positive aspect in this is it’s an anti-aging device first , helping with us clencher’s is a bonus !
    Happy holidays to you and your family and hope you love your new place ❤

    I found clenching was a habit. I had to practically force myself during the day to keep my teeth apart “lips together teeth apart” was my mantra and breath through my nose. Nose breathing. I used to pick certain times like journey in the car where i would focus really hard on it for the entire journey. If noticed myself clenching I would make myself stop for as long as i could concentrate and focus for. Set a timer on my phone every 30 mins all day to check in on myself . Every time I went to the toilet I would remind myself to do it.
    I finally stopped clenching and grinding at night.
    I also had a habit where I only chewed food on one side of my mouth and gave me bad asymmetry funnily enough same side of my face that ny teeth were most ground down. I’m currently training myself to chew on the other side of my face. I think I am going to try this

    Claudia amongst ALL of the products (creams and gadgets) you use which one would you recommend for jawline and overall lift. That the one major difference I see in my face going from very marked jawline and firmness to more overall looseness. Wrinkles aren’t an issue (yet). Bonus would be if you could also recommend something for baggy eyes and crease along those. Thank you in advance!

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Insta, for a lift and the jawline I actually think the Oralift or microcurrent would be the best. You can get a bit of skin tightening with micro needling, but it won't do much for the jawline. I do think a combination of the three might be good and it is what I use. I also love LED, but it will not do much for the jawline.
      Retin A of course can help with a bit with elasticity and sunscreen is crucial to prevent further collagen degradation.
      As far as baggy eyes, I do not really deal with that, so I have not first hand recommendation for that, but products with caffeine and or vitamin K are supposed to help some. I don't think gadgets will do much for that unfortunately. As far as creases, that is a tuff one as well, since they are usually dynamic, meaning they happen when our face moves. Keeping the area moisturised to make it look smoother can help temporarily and botox can help "freeze" the muscles to prevent further creasing
      I hope this helps

      @@claudiaglows thank you so much! I’ve had microcurrent device in the past but felt the results were just temporary. Might look into the oralift..have been using the adipeau for 2 months twice daily but not seeing much. I already do use retin-a (and might have developed extreme dry eyes as a result)..have so far not found one single item or ingredient effective for the eyes…tricky stuff…you though have obtained great visible results so I was really curious.

    • @claudiaglows
      @claudiaglows  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@instanta2693 I too think that microcurrent results are temporary and it is something we have to keep up, similar to exercise. I think as far as jowls, there is not much we can do at home to see a huge improvement unfortunately, but we might see a subtle difference with at home devices and skincare

You put the device in hot water for 3 minutes, then take it out and place it on your bottom teeth, with the device being just slightly behind the front teeth. You then bite down for a few seconds, maybe 30 or so, and then take the device out and it is done.
      I would say watch the video a few times, put the device in and out of your mouth before fitting it, just to get comfortable with the placement and then when fit it. If you happen to mess up, you can repeat the process, but only heating it for 2 minutes that time
