Good video! I would alsor recommend these books by Paul D. Tieger & Barbara Barron-Tieger (both NFs): -Just Your Type -Do What You Are -The Art of Speedreading People
Do you have a guide for how to really figure out your MBTI? I know for certain I am a P, but literally on all other three I see myself on both sides. I am learning how the cognitive functions work, but feel like who I am changes from day to day and situation to situation, and it’s hard to pin it down. For example I’ve taken a test and got ENFP, and also have gotten ISTP (pretty different!). Reading through ISTP I very much relate to the idea of not wanting to be pinned down or committed to something but am not “mechanical” or interested in taking things apart. Anyway, do you have any advice?
Hey Noah, you might consider studying the cognitive functions. An ENFP and ISTP have no cognitive functions in common in their main stack so that's indeed a world of difference. There are on-line cognitive function tests as well. This one is free: www.idrlabs.com/cognitive-function/test.php
As baaf10 said, look at the cognitive functions. I’d also suggest looking up ISFP from a few different sources. They have a tendency to be able to “see themselves” as fitting into any role based on varied experiences in their past and pattern recognition from their tertiary introverted iNtuition (something you’ll learn about in the cognitive functions). Or you could contact me and I’ll do a free profiling session if schedules work out.
Hello Noah, The best way to figure out your MBTI type is through the self-discovery process. Read really good descriptions of the types you think you might be, then pick the description you feel has the "best fit." Amazing descriptions are here: www.bestfittype.com/ www.bestfittype.com/16Types/ENFP.cfm www.bestfittype.com/16Types/ISTP.cfm
Thx Matt. Great list! Only 2 months into this very powerful topic. Lots more to learn. You’re very conversant. With all your learning have you been able to dampen or eliminate “knee jerk” (auto reaction) negative responses of your personality type? Can this be done for all personality types? I’m an INFP.
hi i’m an INFJ and this is the first time for me in your channel I wanted to ask about a book that contains a psychological interesting story Please respond
I am afraid if I go to a book store this time I will feel anxious, because i am addicted to books 😅. I will feel good and bad at the same time 😂. I don't mind to take 2 hours just to scan everything and whatever they have 😢. Is that normal for INFP? Or it's normal for most types? It's similar to when girls go shopping 😂.
I do the same thing. I think each type has a different procedure at the bookstore :P It’s probably pretty common for NPs to bounce around from book to book and leave with little to nothing because they can’t find the “right” one. Or buying too many...

Thank you!
Also suggest "Was That Really Me" by Naomi L. Quenk to understand how types act while in the grip of their inferior function ;

+Maitha Abdulla I don’t read fiction anymore, but I read The Celestine Prophecy in high school and many of the mindsets stuck with me.
I meant nonfiction
Sorry 😐
Did you read The Perfect?
No sorry. Never heard of it :(
Hey Sherman, can you tell me if Depth Typology by Mark Hunziker includes anything on virtues & vices of each type?
Nope. I thought that was Chase’s concept?
