@@Tremendouz it just depends on what I've been recording at the time. When I work with other musicians, sometimes they request mono audio files 😁 if I forget to change the settings back, a few projects afterwards might also be in mono 👍

I remember Gheorghe Zhamfir playning this on Danish television back in the day. Then and now it brings a tear to my eye. It is just so beautiful. Well played CutiePie. So emotional.
Great choice of tune. Really enjoyed this. I started to learn tin whistle using a Clarke “Celtic” whistle which is more or less the same as the “ Sweetone “ and they’re very underrated whistles. The high register is easy to hit using one and they’re very response too. Big like Stephanie 👍
I started playing (trying to) a tin whistle last summer, then I got a low D whistle. I have learned so much from your videos! Stumbled on this one by accident and now I'm hooked. I love this version as you play it. I'm trying to learn it on the low d, and cannot even come close, but it's so great to have such an incredible model to follow. Thank you for making these videos!
Hi Stephanie, An awesome adaptation of this song to the whistle. The first time I heard this song it was done on pan pipes by two brothers from Ecuador who call themselves, Wuauquikuna. It may go to high into the second octave to play on the Native American Style Flute so I'll have to learn to play this one on my Clark Traditional C. Thank you for doing this awesome song. Hi. I note you played on a "c" tin whistle but the music is in the "d" chord. I am just starting out and bought a "d". But the problem is the old time bands i play with only play in "c" so I went ahead and bought a "c" whistle. All your tutorials seem to be in "d" so how do I overcome this? I feel learning "d" is going to be a waste of time for me as I am not going to be able to play it. What do you recommend. Is "c" hard to learn and that's why you recommend starting in "d". Many thanks for your help.
@@diannemcnaughton1907 D is the most common keys of whistle as it's used a lot for Irish and folk music, which is often in that key. Most tutorials will also therefore be shown in a D whistle, because that's what most people will have. I'd recommend getting a D whistle too. I'll link a video below that explains how the keys of whistles work. Most people end up with lots of different keys of whistle 😊
There's nothing difficult about learning to play a C whistle, but if you want to take advantage of free online tutorials, you'll need a D whistle too. This song makes me want to cry. It was my dad, who turned me onto Zamfir many years ago. Now he’s been gone 14 years and it makes me really miss him.
