I'm a guy and did this without even needing the signboard. I was alone in Chiangmai, Thailand for the new year holidays, I decided to take the shuttle bus up to the Doi Suthep temple on the morning of new year day where I immediately started acquainting with a boy who sat next to me, he's studying at Chiangmai University and had decided not to go home for the holidays. After the temple visit and returning to our pick up point I asked him if he wanted to spend the day with me (I took my car with me from Bangkok) and we went around places and ate dinner and I took him back to my hotel and we spent the next 2 days together LOL.
Michael was a great guy to go along with your unknown adventure. This tells me he is a adventurous person, as well as you Ethan.

Don't think Venezuela is a tourist destination due to the political instability there.
I wonder how MJ is traveling when 98% of the folks there seem locked in abject poverty, and who need to get by with a lack of simple medicines, or everyday products, like tp, etc. Most folks have a difficult time finding enough food to eat and/or food they can afford to buy. Millions of Venezuelans have left the country due to the many problems and issues there. And then along comes a little butterfly to help only deepen the many mysteries!
