In my opinion, the hatdest part of the summary is to actually summarize the support details.

Yes, that can be tricky. Even determining what are details versus what are main points can be tricky. It gets easier the more past paper summaries you work. Be sure to check many, many good summary samples. Check CXCs official website for the subject reports and see their summary samples.
