They out do themselves every time! I cannot stop watching this, it is amazing!! Geoff hits 3 B0's! Eli has become the Asgardian god of rock, Layne is a beatboxing god, Cesar has become a Berserker, and J None has shown us that rap indeed belongs in acapella! And Miracle of Sound gave this 10 out of 10 raised ale horns!! Great reaction! This from the Assasins Creed Valhalla video game, but that rap is all J None!!
I have missed your Voiceplay reactions!! I am an old woman who had never heard of this until they did it. Didn't matter, they are phenomenal. Layne's beatboxing was (maybe) the best part. I still, after 200 or 300 views, have to remind myself that j did not break through an old, creaky, wooden door that slammed behind him. That was Layne!! Happy to see you back and looking forward to more!!
You are 100% right, you NEVER said you didn't like them......the other song J.None 'raps' in was their cover of Stevie Wonder's song "Superstition" think, haunted house rap.....that rap and this one was written by the same individual......>^^
Fun Fact: Viking had their own form of insulting poetry contests they called "Flyting" and is basically a form of battle rap. So them adding a rap verse into their version of the song was a genius nod to history in a modern music way.
I agree. In this one they just nailed everything. The setting, the costumes. Everyone was at their best. Elis crazy rock riff, caesars agressive tone, jnons bars and ofcpurse layne and Geoff. This is perfect and probably the perfect repesentation of what accapella groups can do
I look forward to your reactions. They are honest and intelligent. Keep on reacting and sharing with your background in the music field I li9ke to consider what you offer. Plus your facial expression makes me smile. Till next time. .
I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction and explanations of where you are coming from. I appreciate honesty but it really feels good to hear you thought this was flawless!
Have to listen to Geoff's B0's. Absolutely amazing! These guys are great! Perfect! A masterpiece! Doesn't get any better than this! Best acapella group out there! Blows everybody else away!
Definitely one of my favorite VoicePlay performances. Geoff going subterranean, Eli going into the clouds, Cesar getting into his berserker role, Layne destroying the percussion (and the arrangement), and then J. None--sweet, cheerful J. None, ripping Valhalla apart.
Jesus, that was just phenomenal. Great job by VP. They have really found their niche. Excellent job by them, I loved it as well. Thought your jaw was stuck in the I can’t believe what I’m hearing position. 😀🔥
I watched enough of your reviews to know that you never said you did not like Voiceplay. You have been delighted with most of them. Disgrosting indeed.
You haven't. There's just been times you said you weren't fond of an arrangement in full, biggest one that stands out was Tennessee Whiskey. And this is the first time I've heard you describe an arrangement as flawless. The only reaction I remember you being that flabbergasted by was Carry On Wayward Son.
These guys definitely knocked it out of the park this time. Everyone has just had jaw dropping reactions to this & I think it's well deserved (as you said!). Thanks for the reaction.
Their most intense since Hoist The Colours I think. A real stonker. I know that you have occasionally not agreed with their choices but this one clearly has impressed you throughout. Which perhaps goes against the grain. However, glad you liked it. Nice. :)
LOVE your reaction! Also love your new word. Your face thru this performance was epic. Frozen pretty much in awe. Me too! When you have time, check out their Seven Nation Army cover. It's freaking awesome! ThNk you for your time and reaction. I'm 3 weeks into recovery from total knee replacement, so I'm enjoying reactions such as yours to avert my attention away from this pain. So thank you dear sir and may hod bless you always!❤❤🎉🎉😊
So Happy you did this one, it's phenomenal. There's another version of this done by Peyton Parrish that's a bit darker and grittier I think you'd love it
I always appreciate your constructive criticism which is the point of reactors. Keep doing what you do. You have never said that you didn’t like them and they weren’t oozing with talent/ability. By the way, Geoff has a very impressive video that should release in a week or two. I hope you let us know what you think.
Nope, you never said you didn't like Voice Play. Yes, there are things that not everyone likes in some songs, and everyone is right about their own opinions. and YES we have the disgrossting!!!!! I knew it!!!!
Great reaction dude. The guys really hit a homerun with this. Next take yourself over to their cover of Seven Nations Army. It's absolutely unfreakingreal. It makes you want to kick a wall down and pick up a battle axe.
Miracle of Sound is the man who wrote and first performed this number. He has three versions out: solo, feat. Peyton Parrish, and feat. Peyton Parrish & Eric Hollaway. Peyton Parrish has his own solo version out. VoicePlay's is the only one with rap thrown in. Miracle of Sound rated it 10 out of 10 raised ale horns. I agree with that. I have all five on my playlist, love playing them back to back
Great reaction! Voiceplay’s video’s have been bonkers lately. You should definitely check out their latest release 7 nation army. I think you’d really find it really interesting.
I counted no less than 8 stank faces. the last time i saw you that captivated was Hoist the Colours.! and that was your highest praise probably since Carry One Wayward Son. If memory serves, I think your 'most critical' opinions originated back when Earl was in the group. Probably most cirtical was I will survive that I can think of, which I didn't really care for much either, so I took it with the rest. Either way, I've said it before, but i always respect your opinions. They always come from a place of logic, or are presented respectifully if your opinion is subjective. You don't hold a bias, you simply call it as you see it from your perspective. In this world, that is what people need to realize--- other people have different opinions, as everyone has different perspectives.... Regardless, just ignore the haters, they aren't worth your time! (this coming from a fan of all of the big three groups, though VP at this point has edged out the lead). Great reaction!
I love this arrangement, but there are things, that could be better. The cover is too busy, so when you hit the point with bars, it should feel like a bridge and than hitting with something even more epic, but it won't happen, because how can they make it even more epic!? They could involve some bars in last measures, so it feels more cohesive. So like: 1.Singing, 2.Bars, 3.Combo. That would be absolutely brilliant! But I also feel like, this is their best cover! Most inventive, like writting their own bars and after refrain melody is sick. Who else does this? Right ❤
Your shut up had me cackling. And I love hearing you say disgrosting again!
Miracle of Sound gave them ten ale horns out of ten for the most creative cover they have heard.
J none started laying down bars and he broke youtube 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Voiceplay has been knocking it out of the park as of late.
"Rise and Reign" Indeed.
Every song that VoicePlay covers seems to become my *new* favorite song. :)
They out do themselves every time! I cannot stop watching this, it is amazing!! Geoff hits 3 B0's! Powerful and, in my case, right on time.
Wow, Dramasyde is speechless.

Lol. I knew you’d love this!
THE ACAPELLA GROUPS PULL FOR ONE ANOTHER AND ARE GREAT FRIENDS, I HEARD.
Their next two are even better.
Loved the reaction and bit of introspection. You are so right. They just keep improving.
The best so far from them
That face at the end of video said all that needs to be said.......VoicePlay is firing on all cylinders lately......
0:52 Subharmonic B0 note held for 15 secs by Geoff. Nobody was ready for J Nones rap on this. Love your reaction sir

A LONG time ago, I stopped saying, "that was their best yet." They keep making me a liar! LOL Great reaction!
Great reaction! I knew you would love this one.
I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction and explanations of where you are coming from. I appreciate honesty but it really feels good to hear you thought this was flawless!
Yes, they are ramping up the crazy talent with each of the last few they've dropped. Their "Seven Nation Army" blows it out of the park.
J. NONE has done bars in a couple other of their videos.
Damn! Geoff is just jaw-dropping every time.
Thanks for the vid - always a treat to experience with a fan of good music.
Have to listen to Geoff's B0's. Absolutely amazing! These guys are great! Perfect! A masterpiece! Doesn't get any better than this! Best acapella group out there! Blows everybody else away!

Disgrosting indeed.
I don't remember you sitting there with your mouth open that long. And the best stank face.
He came pretty close with Carry On Wayward Son. If I remember correctly, he said something about needing to drink water because he got cotton mouth.
This was definitely one of their best! And your facial expressions through the whole thing were just priceless! ❤ Really enjoyed your reaction!

Love your reaction, love Voiceplay and this one is absolutely amazing!
Thanks for the reaction, enjoyed it. Would love to hear your take on VoicePlay's Seven Nation Army.

EPIC. Loved this. 😊❤️
Very niiiice, thank you!
Tell me they didn't knock it up a few notches on this one. My favorite now.
Their most intense since Hoist The Colours I think. A real stonker. I know that you have occasionally not agreed with their choices but this one clearly has impressed you throughout. Which perhaps goes against the grain. However, glad you liked it. Nice. :)

🥰
told you so.
loved your take, check out Seven Nation Army to be blown away again!
May God bless you always, I meant. Sorry 🙏, I typed wrong letter.
I would love it if you would react to Ren- Hi Ren at some point, I’d be very interested in your take

Personally I don’t care for Pentatonix and Voiceplay. Nothing wrong with them just don’t like.
