J. None was a regular member of VoicePlay from 2018 --> the summer of 2021, when he joined the U.S. Navy to sing in the Navy choir. He returns to sing with VP when he can get leave. This is his second full video with them since the start of this year (he's also in a couple of their Shorts).
Literally everything they’ve put out this year so far has been insanely phenomenal. You’ve got a lot of catching up to do.

I love that they have J staring out across the water at the beginning. He’s been away and now he’s come back.
Previously they did a cover of My Mother Told Me (also associated with the video game Assassin’s Creed). The makeup and a lot of the costuming is from MMTM. Among their tattoos are runes spelling out VoicePlay.
Layne (beatboxer ) did the arrangement and Eli (bald rock god) the amazing backgrounds. It was filmed, not green screen, but at a studio with immense (Full wall!) LED screens.
Kudos to Eli for the fantastic backgrounds.
They out do themselves every time! I cannot stop watching this, it is amazing!! Geoff hits 3 B0's! Eli has become the Asgardian god of rock, Layne is a beatboxing god, Cesar has become a Berserker, and J None has shown us that rap indeed belongs in acapella! And Miracle of Sound gave this 10 out of 10 raised ale horns!! Great reaction! This from the Assasins Creed Valhalla video game, but that rap is all J None!!
Geoff as deep as he is singing here, is like Tim Foust and can very much access his upper register and sing in tenor range. He really showcases it in his solo video for The Sound Of Silence. That was a phenomenal song. Voice Play has so many other videos to offer. In all different styles. I hope you react to them more
J.None was a member of VoicePlay until he left in 2021 when he was invited to sing with the US Navy music section. He has returned to sing with the guys occasionly when on leave. I think the first time was in Friends On The Other Side but he's done a few since, like the recent Nothing Else Matters.

J.None was on a break from the military when they filmed this. You probably remember him with longer hair. He was in the group back when Earl was in it. Still the same dude. 😁

You definitely need to check out Seven Nation Army. Even if you don’t like the song I guarantee you’re going to feel differently about Voiceplay’s version. They just keep leveling up, every time they drop a new song.
Think of Norse mythology, Valhalla was were warriors went to serve after death. That's were the distney comes in to play. Love how they always get into the setting of the story. Glorous performance!

the "new guy" you saw was J. None who was a Former member of Voice Play before leaving to go to the Navy. Its good to see him return when he can.
Fun fact: Vikings actually used to do what is called "Flyting" and is basically battle rap considering it was simply guys making insulting poems at each other. XD So them adding a rap verse in this was so genius!

I was waiting for you to react to this one. It's one of my VP favorites. I'm only about halfway through watching your reaction, and I paused it, so I could write this. There are a few moments that shine above the rest in this video. Geoff's quakebass in the beginning, including that lonnnnnnng undernote. Eli's devastatingly high verse, the same pitch as Whitney Houston sang a lot. And, of course, "that moment" from J-None.

By the way, there's no need to blur out Voiceplay videos, they never strike reactors. They even want reactors to react because it gets the word out.
Geoff has practiced getting even lower nowadays, since you last reacted to VP. You saw JNone in Oogie Boogie and in Bridge Over Troubled Water. Cesar joined them shortly before Hoist the Colours, when JNone had left.
The bass (geoff castellucci) has a 5 octave range from B 0 on up.

Perhaps the game you were searching for is Skyrim? If so, please check out "The Dragonborn Comes," where they sing the Skyrim theme. The other game song they did was "Halo," really awesome!
