Went 2 weeks ago. Everything about this place is amazing. But one of the best parts, that I haven't heard from anyone, is that I didn't have to wear my earplugs for the concert. It was loud, but not like the big stacks at a typical rock concert. My ears didn't ring for a day after like usual (even with the ear plugs). Best concert venue ever!

Was in Vegas last weekend for Twitchcon, seeing the Sphere up close is truly one of the most breathtaking experiences you can have in the city. It legitimately feels like you’re in a sci-fi movie until you look away and realize that it’s a real thing. I captured a video of the Sphere showing an ad for the new Spider-Man game that released last week, and the video (in 4K) still doesn’t do justice just how much of a marvel the video quality is and how MASSIVE the Sphere is
I managed to see the sphere in person last month during labor day before it was doing shows and venues and it looks absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see it again when I go back next month!
Got to see U2 at the Sphere on October 5th, and I would say it was a magical night, but that’s not quite adequate to describe it. You have to see it for yourself to truly believe it.
I was visiting Las Vegas last week and went to see the Postcard from Earth show at the Sphere on October 23rd. On the outside, the Sphere is a huge amazing structure with its millions of LED lights that can show all sorts of displays. On the inside, the Postcard from Earth show was absolutely stunning with the surround super clear visuals, vibrating seats, wind effects, and powerful audio. I would love to see another show at the Sphere on my next visit to Las Vegas.
I remember thinking it was going to be cool, but I still had no clue it was going to be that cool. I thought it was going to have like lights and shit but not a full on hd video capabilities on its entire surface
Forgot 1 fact: Adds a ton of luminous pollution. I hope the NY one isn't approved because everyone with windows facing its way will need to cover them with plywood. In Vegas is kind of acceptable because people there already know the visually louder the better.
I think they should put one in Belleville Ontario Canada. We have been having many troubles here lately and we really need something to make us feel better. We have the worst homeless problem in Canada and by far the most ods Thanks for listening and hopefully we will see a giant ball here soon.
I still say its a distraction while driving. Imagine driving and all of a sudden a giant EYEBALL appears next to you....at night. You would freak out and cause a 20 car pile up smh.
Yeah and it is only a matter of time until serious injuries occur. The Sphere is so steep build on the inside, if you sit near the top, you think that every second you fall. Nothing is made in terms of security, if you stumble you fall and nothing can stop you. For me it is a masterclass in how not to build such a thing. From the Outside it is for sure an eyecatcher and breathtaking. But inside it is dangerous in my eyes. 3 Weeks ago i vistited it and was shocked and get out asap. Can´t stand that steep build.
I love that Mike Shinoda got to advertise his song In My Head for Scream 6, and he just put his face on it. He could have put the album cover, or the music video, but no. He chose his face.
This is all we need in Vegas -- something so distracting it causes accidents. Too bad NV can't spend a little money on education and health care instead of "pretty lights."

The display is not connected to an outside network. Someone could do it in person but that is way more risk and unlikely.
