1986 Porsche 911 Friday Drive - 8/30/24

Took the car out for a quick run through some back roads. Unfortunately, I got stuck behind some slow drivers as usual. Loving the new Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02's so far. Car was lowered to Euro height recently too.

Aircooled 911s down here in New Zealand cost mostly over NZ$100k now, so I won't be affording a classic machine down here, any time soon!

@@v1rotait23 it’s similar here now in the US. They are going for at the minimum around $55,000 USD and up to $100,000 for prime examples with low (under 80,000 miles) on the clock. I was lucky enough to have my dad hand this car down to me with only 48,500 of generously and carefully driven miles. The car sat dormant for almost 10 years so it needed some refreshing, cleaning and some new parts and maintenance but came right back to life. Glad to be able to cherish it for another generation and look after it to hand down to another.
