Rhea's not the only one with a fancy nickname or title. Gotta say, "Hammer of Justice" and "Benevolent One" fit Seteth and Flayn perfectly.

I get the feeling that the contexts here are that she can perceive them, but they can't perceive her, so she's commenting on what they're doing, but they're not for her. But maybe they'd comment if she got the kills instead?
I tried doing duo special attacks with Sothis/Rhea and they don't have unique commentary.

In Verdant Wind in Japanese Rhea refers to herself as the youngest child of the Progenitor God, i.e the last one Sothis made from her own blood. All indications thus are that Cichol/Seteth was born conventionally from another, long dead Nabatean. Child of the Goddess seems to be another name for their race, rather than meaning Sothis is their mother, as the term is also used for Flayn.

I have always headcanoned Sothis as the mom of Seiros/Rhea, Cichol/Seteth, Macuil, Indech as well as the grandma of Cethleann/Flayn. There’s some really good fanart of Mom Sothis and the baby saints. Even if Seteth never calls Rhea his sister, I feel that they’re siblings.
Fun fact Seteth being Hammer of Judgment fits with where his Crest is placed in the numbers order, previously there was a lot of misconception about which crest (Blaiddyd or Cichol) was Justice and which was Strength
But with this little name drop the question is finally answered.
The Justice Arcana belongs to Seteth, and the bloodlines he shared his blood with- those being Bergliez (which when you think about it, really does fit Caspar even if he is crestless) and Aegir (which fits Ferdinand to a T)
It kinda makes sense, too, when you think about it. Strength seems more fitting for Dimitri and Justice more fitting for Seteth.
I mean, Dimitri literally has superhuman strength, and Seteth doesn’t really have a tie to strength, so…
@@epicphantom589Actually, he does! The dragon signs description for the Crest of Cichol is “Earth Dragon Sign. A symbol of strength and the land.” He also has strengths in each of the weapons of the weapon triangle. c:

A lot of people debate whether Rhea or Seiros is her original name, but it seems like their original names are these titles Sothis gave them, and the names after are what they chose for themselves.
Also, this probably means Sothis' true form is called "The Beginning."

Fun fact. In Echoes side material, we actually learn that Naga gave similar titles as well. Duma was called the Kingshield due to his military might that was used to protect her. And Mila was called the Kingsgrail for her power to bless the land and allow the dragons to prosper. And Falchion was referred to as the Kingsfang.
When I saw the title, I thought she was going to call them Seiros, Cichol and Cethleann.

Consider that just as “Benevolent One”, “Immaculate One”, “Hammer of Judgement”, and “The Beginning” are titles of the Nabataean race… “Enlightened One” follows the same naming scheme. This name may be bestowed upon Byleth by Sothis and/or Rhea (depending on the game).

I still wonder what are Seteth and Flayn to Rhea and Seiros, like we know Seiros was Sothis’s last creation, but Seteth seems to have little connection to Sothis despite being a Nabatean.
I have a headcanon that Seteth and Rhea are siblings and the only reason Rhea told Byleth that she was the last child of the Goddess was because she didn't want to make Seteth and Flayn bigger targets for the Agarthans

Yeah I was disappointed with how little Seteth and Flayn were used and the TINY amount of supports they got but I’m glad they’re here at least

@Меѳодїи I don’t think this is confirmed in canon as to who is who, but I do headcanon it, and at the very least, Indech and Macuil are confirmed.
@methodius--9405 there’s that, but with Three Hopes, we got the Amalthea sacred Cethleann tome, which has a ram/goat on it, despite the Chinese guardian being a water dragon, which makes a LOT more sense for Flayn bc she likes the sea and fish so much
Well, that's one way of making NG+ characters worth using: just take the chance to include lore information that would have never come up naturally.

I find it cool how, supposedly, the darker the hair (outside of Sothis) the older the Nabatean, meaning that Rhea is the youngest and Flayn just seems so naive cause of her long recovery time. Interesting bits of lore
i dont quite buy that theory, flayns mother is human. and supposedly died during the same battle where flayn was gravely injured. this is implied to be a battle that rhea also took part in.
and we know flayn basically got the captain america treatment. her body frozen while she recovers. the way i see it at best rhea is the same age as flayn, if not just a few years older, like 5-10 years older which doesnt mean much for someone whos lifespan is theorethically in the thousands.

I don't think darker hair ever meant they were older. Rhea is supposedly the last of the original children of sothis, with Seteth and his brothers seemingly being much younger.

@@kirin1230 Seteth and Flayn have pretty drastic color changes tho, meaning that the brightness is tied to either the amount of their base Nabatean power they have or their age. And given Seteth and Flayn both have full light hair like Rhea in the flashbacks but aren’t using their true forms like her, it can be assumed it’s not to do with their powers. It’s never said (as far as I remember) that Rhea is older than them, and Seteth is the only one of any Nabateans that talks explicitly about being very old and how age is something he’ll fight against to not let it slow him down. Flayn still aged while recovering, but her mind did not as far as we can tell
I’m confused by Nabatean naming culture. Did Sothis bestow the titles that they grow up to embody like Smurfs? Or is it that they earn their titles and their Nabatean names are their birth names? If it’s the latter then how could Seiros be known as the Immaculate One while Sothis was still alive? It seemed clear to me that Seteth and Flayn had never met Sothis but now it sounds like Sothis has seen The Hammer of Justice in action before.
The dead ones also have names. The Nabateans that were slain and used to create the Aegis Shield and Areadbhar were known as The Steadfast and The Vigorous, respectively. I assume Sothis granted them a title at some point.

I’m a firm believer in the Church of Seiros and I sided with them firstly when I played Three Houses. As such, it angers me that the interaction between them only occurs in this sandbox 😤
You can use them in missions you have played through the record keeper as well.

@@jakealucard1873 Amyr is an S Rank reward for one of the two extra chapters, I believe the second one, and like the other relics has it's unique art.
The Dark Creator sword doesn't have an art though, but acts as a regular A Rank sword anyone can wield and with it's unleashed effects hit's twice

@@acshepard6779 its especially weird now in hopes that wyvern lord is his endgame and yet theyre locked to axes only, like I wish some classes or characters could have a variance to their weapon type, like they coulda let falcon knights use tomes to simulate having dark flier or just have it in there anyways, same with holy knights and tomes to simulate valkyrie
