It's more logical in the Indech paralogue. Seteth basically says thanks for holding back against us, and Indech says he gets amusement from playing these games nowadays. It's all harmless and Seteth knows it won't kill Indech or Macuil.

Tbh when I saw Flayn and found out she was seteth’s little sister I was honestly just betting that it was probably father daughter instead because it sounded like an interesting plot point for no reason whatsoever lol
fun fact:in the three houses art book theres some concept art of some of the crest stones and one of those is the crest stone of macuil.And in the book the crest stone of macuil has the crest itself as well as the word magician on the top and the number 1 on the bottom most likely being a refference to the major arcana card of the magician which is numbered as 1.
Any time I see these supports or between the immovable one, I always go back to Tom Fawkes, who had predicted Flayn and Seteth's identities, and just screams "I CALLED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and I laugh so hard.
