In DMC 1 Rebellion wasn't made yet. But in the story it was because after the events of DMC 3 he used Force Edge as his main weapon until DMC 1 happened, Force Edge became Devil Sword Sparda which went to Trish.
@@MrNiceGuyPh No. In DMC1 you start off with Force Edge and your first weapon you obtain is Alastor. At the end of DMC1 when you get both Perfect gems Force Edge becomes Devil Sword Sparda.
