Life can get quite monotonous sometimes for some of us. May be not everyone can relate to my interpretation of this song or maybe to the song itself. I've never been able to relate myself so much to any other songs like this one. If I were to describe how I feel about this song then it is kinda like having a friend who doesn't exist but understands the situation you're in and gives you company and motivation to keep going despite the negativity that surrounds you. I have a part time job and it feels like going through hell, especially now than ever before. I don't have any passion or interest to do this shit, but I gotta do it. Everything about the job feels so mundane now, like the 1 hour trip to the workplace from my home, seeing same faces everyday, same ads on the way, same people at work, basically everything is very tedious and it feels like it's eating away my life. But this song and all his other songs are a life saver, a secret defense mechanism to cope with the BS around me, IDK?

B: People cant appreciate other music even when they can't enjoy it so they say shit. C: This isn't your run of the mill same chord progression pop song it feels a little out of tune and or eerie. D: Due to lack of education people think there is a real *meaning* to life and that some things should not exist I have to work with these people at a fast food chain and they are ignorant and do not understand simple philosophy of the life they live in and even the most basic function a human could have which is taking care of themselves and maintaining their well being.

My friend makes music, he likes to make music that sounds similar to whoever his inspiration is and then try to take things out of multiple artists to make his own sound. He first made stuff that sounded a lot like Mac demarco, he just recently put out a song that sounds so incredibly similar to this one. Now he’s working on an album with his own sound. He deleted most of his songs off TH-cam but there are a couple singles still up. His TH-cam is Larry Leonard and I think his shit is pretty good.

I love both this & Willow's cover, they have the same message obviously but too very different feels. This is a bit more rough and rugged, while Willow's harmonies make listening a bit more soothing and relaxing. Either way I love the lyrics in the song!
