I have been watching TH-cam miniature painters for the last 6 years, but damn you never fail to surprise me! having a whole "lost" Tau army in this paint style would be really cool
The hexagons ended up looking less like energy shields and more like fish scales. Which for a Tau aircraft is not a bad thing!

i still dont know what Tau really are, some say they are bovine and outhers say they are fish, are they both?
They are aliens. But their vehicles are named after fish!

@@nunocampea2395 They're hoved, which is where the bovines thing comes from, as a counter to all the fish jokes.

This is why i absolutely love your channel. The weathering, rust, and chirping effects looks like the manta was made of metal and pulled straight from that car graveyard. Everytime i watch one of the manta videos i learn new techniques i can use. This video series is equal parts entertaining and educational.

I always love some good weathering, I love the hexagonal shield fragments, it really creates a cool atmosphere where the manta still has life to it, but it's obviously damaged.

What do you mean cosplay? It's surveilance cams from inside Squarewarts school of webcraft and webzardry.
When this diorama is finally complete, it will deserve it's own post-grand reveal exploration video. I'd love to see a separate video of an intricate fly-by showing every nook and cranny with no commentary. Just to take it all in etc. Great job lads!
Most excellent! I hope you consider once placing the Manta on the diorama, jungle growth (vines) showing how long ago the crash occurred and maybe some 'jungle water and fuel actively' dripping from the vehicle. I imagine quite the surprise underneath and within the Manta harboring a few surprises.
