I’ve lived in Washington my whole life, what do you guys see in Washington that makes you want to move here? I don’t really see the hype but maybe it’s cause I just stay in my hometown
The only problem with the Seattle area is your isolated and far from other regions and states. It doesn’t matter tho because everything you need is here but not seeing family often is a bummer.
I live in Seattle (moved here 7 years ago)... yeah, the airfare and flight times to anywhere else is the only real drawback for me. I'm from Colorado and used to being 2.5 max from most US destinations. Family is still in CO, but I have lots of friends from Vancouver BC to Eugene, OR.

I mean, that’s probably because you came from Missouri. I came from Colorado, so I don’t agree with you. That being said, nature out here is amazing. I’m not crazy about the nonstop rain and then no rain at all in the summer. I’m not crazy about the hassle of going places. In Colorado, you could easily go to a waterfall, a wilderness trail, or a mountain in less than an hour. In WA, the wilderness is so vast that you might live 45 minutes from Mt. Rainier as the crow flies…but it’ll take you 3 hours of driving on roads that’ll make anyone in the back seat vomit. It’s all about what you value. I’ve lived in 5 different states. My favorite by far has been Colorado. Even though I’m complaining, Washington would be at #2.

I never said I don't like Washington
All I said was I don't want to stay in Seattle forever
Awesome place if you want to spend three quarters of your life waiting for the rain to stop
5 kids is all i heard 😂 bro must be a Billionare
Lolz not quite a billionaire, but I’m good with my money and make a good amount 😀😅😂
It is a beautiful place. I used to spend a couple weeks in Washington state at a couple of different locations every year but it’s turned into a cesspool and in many areas it’s very dangerous. Tukwila and Seattle has out of control crime and out of control homeless people everywhere and most of them are drug addicts or alcoholics. Spokane is just as bad. Just be careful where you’re going. there is absolutely some beautiful scenery but be careful where you’re going and where you’re staying
I agree with you did the same thing after visiting 7 years ago am now living in Pierce county do not regret this decision
I'd love to move to Washington state from pennslyvania but man i just moved from new york state almost 2 years ago ... i like the pacific northwest though especially beautiful Washington state even though seattle is turning a dumpster fire of a city.
I’ve lived in Washington my whole life, what do you guys see in Washington that makes you want to move here? I don’t really see the hype but maybe it’s cause I just stay in my hometown
It's a beautiful state as long as you're not in an urban area.
No!!!! It rains ALL THE TIME!!!!
EARTHQUAKES!
HIGH TAXES!
EXPENSIVE EVERYTHING!
TOO MANY PEOPLE!
Washington is a great place to live in just look past the pollution and the industry and you can see a really wet mountain and one with no top
3rd and Pike is the best place in Washington.
The problem is leaving family behind.
@@zomb60 they come visit us
No quit telling people to move here its overcrowded and overpriced already
Except it’s too expensive for most people to afford
Washington is beautiful but, you can have the rain.😏👍
How bad was the place you came from?
The only problem with the Seattle area is your isolated and far from other regions and states. It doesn’t matter tho because everything you need is here but not seeing family often is a bummer.
I live in Seattle (moved here 7 years ago)... yeah, the airfare and flight times to anywhere else is the only real drawback for me. I'm from Colorado and used to being 2.5 max from most US destinations. Family is still in CO, but I have lots of friends from Vancouver BC to Eugene, OR.
This is the type of state I would just move out by myself and start anew.
My mom was born and raised in WA. I was born in San Diego. My dad was navy. I have been coming to WA since i was born. After i got out of the navy i moved to WA i hated CA . 10 years ago it was wonderful. Bur in the past 10 years there was a decline. Too many laws now restricting my way of life and too crowded. My wife who has lived in Washington her entire life wants to leave also.
Just about Anything along the I-5 corridor is a dumpster fire. Rampant crime, homelessnes, high cost of living.
Yea sure. If you like moss & mold growing on EVERYTHING, weeds EVERYWHERE & a non-stop drizzly rain that NEVER freakin’ stops…move to WA. I’ll stay in SoCal
I live in AZ and I’m tired of the heat and want to move there or Oregon bc I miss the rain and nature
Let’s do it! Grab a zoom with me and let’s get you out of that dry awful heat
Bro I did the same and it’s the stupidest thing anyone could do living prices is like twice if not three times as much always rains so get ready to be depressed
Somebody please get me out of this california hellhole. Believe me, Im not one of those people who is going to bring cali to the northwest, Im not like that. In fact its the complete opposite; I want to come to your state to GET AWAY from this place, cause I hate it too!
I'm from illinios. Been here 22 years. Never looked back or regretted it. Raised my kids here. I love the beauty & the ppl. Btw...we call Missouri " misery 😂
Right! Same here . 🤣🤣🤣
so glad you and your family were all able to move there! i’ve always felt like i needed to live there. money is always the issue though. i live in california and we’re just too busy paying off other things rather than saving to move there😞
Getting a head is really hard! Especially on finances. Really in places like CA where cost of living is so high! Are you saving anything? It’s okay if it takes a long time as long as your making progress. Progress is progress no matter how small.
@@livingintacomawashington thanks for the kind words! yep, we’re saving a lot but we’re also paying for rent which totally sucks. we have good paying jobs but sometimes, living in CA, it’s still not enough:(!
I’m asian and I’m planning to take the board exam here as a nurse… how’s the healthcare system there? You’re reply will be a great help. Tnx to ur video
It’s fantastic! There are sooooo many healthcare jobs here. Specifically where are you looking to live?
Another great bonus is health care in Washington is cheaper than the national average.
Thank u so much for this. I’m planning to apply for the NCLEX Washington board for nursing this year.
Did you ever think about moving to the other side of the mountains like Yakima cle elum ellinsberg
You might want to mention which Leavenworth you're talking about.
I live in washington little town of Wenatchee
I was just there this weekend!
@@livingintacomawashington huh cool
