Rent for there so called " low income apts. run : 2 bedroom , $2,100.00, I don't know if that includes utilities, either way, insanely expensive !!! North of Seattle area, I'm sure it's the same elsewhere. So who's benefits becuz it certainly is not the low income. Criminal far as I'm concerned. The government here sucks instead of addressing the problems at the root they propose stupid measures that only make more problems. When confronted they just ignore you. Get this. Instead of creating some sort of rehabilitation program for homeless people... They were going to create a budget for a team of people to walk around picking up human fecal matter from the streets.

When I pump gas I lock my car with my person hidden inside to prevent a drive by robbery. When grocery shopping I always scan the parking lot when in it to avoid car jacking and never go alone. Sirens everyday. Everyday crimes & shootings. Unfriendly now because people are scrambling to pay the bills. Car tailgate your whole driving trip. New crime warning is bump and carjacking. You pull over cuz your car got hit and they steal it. My family has lived here 80 yrs and it has changed for the worse.

Seattle used to be a great place . Now i wont go anywhere near it without taking 2 firearms with at least 6 extra magazines. And yet the idiots on the west side. Continue to vote for this crap.

Born and raised in Seattle for over 50 years, it was a great place to grow up, but now it's a mess due to crime, homelessness, haters, and how they try to put immigrants above locallites by disrespecting the American citizens. 1 thing for sure, everytime democrats are in office the crime rates go up, especially in democratic states. The educational system needs an overhaul because teachers don't know how to reach them mentally, culturally, spiritually. and make learning fun, plus the miseducation is overwhelming. Also, when a student know a teacher doesn't like them it makes it hard to learn. Then some of these teachers get mad and put the child in special education. However, Washington is an evergreen state and plenty of outdoor activities to do in the summer and seems to attract hackers, haters, and serial killers.

Where did you move to I mean since you're giving us guidance and everything and I have lived in Tacoma Seattle to Spokane really like Washington State and don't really have a lot of issues here I was wondering what Utopia did you go to what land of milk and honey is your new address?

We call the grey the great grey. There have been times when I did not see the sun for 100 days… Grey can be super overwhelming. IMO it sprinkles with no end but very rarely rains.

I live here and definitely don't move here. Ppl are rude and everything is expensive. To many people and stupid drivers. My wife drives 90 min to wr at 5am and anywhere from 2 to 3 hrs to get home whether she drives or takes the ferry. Its great to visit but not live..

Native Seattleite, lived up on Capitol Hill years ago when it had alot of large families. My mom’s side is from Port Angeles, and it was my favorite place and took two ferries to get there. We moved out of state and miss living by the Sound and the mountains.

Seattle is filled with people who work in Seattle, but can no longer afford to rent here anymore. They buy vans , clean up at gyms and sleep in their vehicles all week while going to work. They live at least 100 miles away where renting is still reasonable. If you aren't making at least $60 per hour - you will Suffer in Seattle and end up having to only go home on the weekends. Los Angeles prices have taken over. Its very harsh. The water bill was 200/ month for 3 people. The electric bill will make you stop using your hair dryer and microwave. Seattle traffic is bad, and the skies are grey everyday 7 months out of the year. Half of Seattle can't cope without smoking pot daily, and that's not cheap either. Alcohol has an 80% tax on it so even drinking is pricey. There is a sugar tax too. Come only if you are a techie or willing to sleep in a van and rent far away.

I lived in Tacoma area as a child in the 50s, went to NC for 7 years, & when I found out my Dad was sending me back to this HE..Hole in the mid 60s, I was trying everything I could to NOT COME BACK!! Unfortunately, as a child i had no choice. Then, after graduation, got married, had kids*grandkids , etc. Still, over the last few Decades IF I had the means; I'd be outta here soooooo FAST!!! SEATAC area has been reported to have the Highest Suicide rates curtesy of the GRAY, GLOOMY weather causing Depression. Add that to the Drugs that are Legally & Illegally pushed on many, makes for perfect recipe to eliminate population!!
