On a serious note, Zeke is very intelligent. The moment Eren didn't catch the baseball, he knew something was up. Because that symbolized them being on the same page. And so, Zeke wanted to believe Eren was on the same page as him, but in the back of his mind, he had doubts. And I like that he didn't have blind faith in Eren but approached the situation cautiously.
Also, fun fact, some of the snippets of images before Eren got into the paths were actually cameos from volume extras in the manga. Along with one image being the AOT men in a sauna. So that's nice.

But also for example Reiner, Pieck and Gabi were all trying to kill Eren if that's what it took to stop him, but people don't keep the same energy for the others as they do for Gabi. Why exactly do you hate Gabi or root against her? She just understood her killing Sasha was wrong, and she regrets it. She also just had her best friend and person she loves turned into a titan, and saw 2 of her mentor figures killed right in front of her; one by her best friend. I really don't get why you root against here tbh. She was just doing what she thought was right and doing what Reiner, Pieck, or anyone else would've done. She basically almost saved the world and ended the cycle right there. What she did is totally reasonable. Not trying to hate, just trying to understand.
I understand some left over resentment for Gabi but what I dont understand is why are people rooting for Eren and Zeke. Aside from Eren being the mc their "plan" is genocide against the Eldians for the sake of everyone that ISNT an Eldian. And not only that, the rumbling will also be another genocide against everyone else for the sake of....what a few thousands Eldians in Paradis? Who at best have 100 years till the last one dies?

But trust me I used to hate her like a mf at the beginning (while I was reading the manga) I obv started to lose that hate even by this point cuz we can clearly tell she didn't do anything wrong from her pov. But i guess the reason people root for Eren is cuz they still believe he's upto something "good" lol. They still believe he's a "hero" or a "protagonist". We did too. Although if it was a main character in Gabi's place, people would go nuts for what he/she did, but just cuz she's not the mc, ppl give her shit for no reason lol.
Reiner just keeps on taking L's. First he fails to stop a titan from killing Marcel, then when he's already feeling guilty enough, he has to watch the same exact thing happen to Marcel's very own younger brother, and now one family has lost two sons. That scream he let out as Falco's pure titan dove in for the kill and then took his anger out on Eren... dude just can't get a break.
Incredible episode. Definitely in the pantheon of legendary AOT episodes.

Easily one of the best episodes of the entire series
One thing I think gets overlooked: Gabi in that instant was Eren in that instant. When she killed Sasha, it was out of revenge and bloodlust. Like young Eren, she was driven bad rash wrath.
When she shot Eren, it wasn't out of anger, she was just doing what needed to be done to avoid more massacre and genocide...exactly, from Eren's perspective, what he has been doing against Zeke: wracking up the crimes to avoid something he/she considers to be a greater tragedy--the erasure of his/her entire people.
I can understand why people don't implicitly like her. However, there is a difference between you finding a character likeable or not based on how they interact with other characters you are biased towards--and them being a well-written charcter integral to the plot.
next ep is going to break everyones mental state and you can count on it

This is where part 1 of season 4 should have ended. It would have been one of the craziest cliffhangers ever and people would have been talking about it for months. We have never seen a titan shifter lose their whole head like this. Anime only fans would have no idea what to expect next.

The moment when Zeke transformed his own allies into titans against their will basically gratified everyone with the intention to watch this series without picking sides. Even when characters in this show work toward their grand goal, they can't do it without sacrificing the ones they're doing it for, whether those sacrificed want to play that role or not. Kruger (the Owl), Zeke, and Eren are the epitome of it for Eldians' and Paradis' sake while Maggath and Willy Tybur were those guys for Marley and the rest of the world.
